Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande among stars performing at free concert for Charlottesville - 9/6/17

Entertainment Weekly, 9/6/17 --

Music stars are coming together in Charlottesville, Virginia.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, Pharrell Williams, Chris Stapleton, Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes, the Roots, and Cage the Elephant are among the acts performing at A Concert for Charlottesville: An Evening of Music and Unity. Dave Matthews Band is hosting the star-studded event in the band's hometown on Sunday, Sept. 24, about six weeks after a driver slammed into a crowd protesting a white nationalist rally on Aug. 12, killing 32-year-old counter-protester Heather Heyer and injuring 19 others.

Taking place at the University of Virginia's Scott Stadium, the concert will be free for members of the Charlottesville and University of Virginia communities, according to a press release. Tickets can be requested until 12 p.m. ET on Monday, Sept. 11 via an online program set up here by producers Live Nation, Starr Hill Presents, and the University of Virginia. Additionally, a limited number of tickets will be available at a walk-up, no service charge box office at John Paul Jones Arena on Friday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. ET, the statement said. Donations can be made to the Concert for Charlottesville Fund at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation here.

In the wake of the fatal rally, Heyer's mother, Susan Bro, paid tribute to her daughter and announced the Heather Heyer Foundation at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards in late August.

Dave Grohl Reveals Justin Timberlake as Mystery Foo Fighters Collaborator - 9/6/17

Rolling Stone, 9/6/17 --

Dave Grohl revealed that Justin Timberlake is the long-hyped mystery "pop star" collaborator featured on the Foo Fighters' upcoming ninth LP, Concrete and Gold.

Grohl detailed this unexpected collision of hard-rock and mainstream pop in Rolling Stone's new, in-depth cover profile, noting that Timberlake often hung out with the band during downtime between their respective recording sessions at L.A.'s EastWest studios.

"We'd drink whiskey in the parking lot," said the Foo Fighters frontman. "He was really, really cool. Then the night before his last day, he says, 'Can I sing on your record? I don't want to push it, but – I just want to be able to tell my friends.'"

Timberlake's contribution amounted to "la la la" vocals on one track, but Grohl was adamant that his new friend "nailed" the part. "I'm telling you, the guy's going somewhere," he joked.

Grohl first teased the collaboration in June, mysteriously telling BBC Radio 1 that the world's "biggest pop star" sang backup on one of the album's "heaviest songs." The following month, the guitarist walked back that description a bit, explaining to Rolling Stone, "This person, I think, more than [just a pop star]."

"I'd be amazed if anyone can really figure it out," he added. "But it was great and this person's been around a long time. And I think I've met this person maybe a few times, but I'd never spent time with this person, and we had a blast together. Really fucking fun. And [he or she is] very talented – more so than I ever knew. But, of course, I fucking ran my mouth off; now I have to answer to it every time I pick up the telephone and I'm like, 'Fuck! I shouldn't have said anything.'"

Timberlake isn't the only major cameo on Concrete and Gold: Paul McCartney plays drums on one track. "Even if it had been banjo, I think I probably would have showed up," the former Beatle told Rolling Stone of his jovial session.

Concrete and Gold, out September 15th, also includes guest spots from the Bird and the Bee's Inara George, the Kills' Alison Mosshart and Boyz II Men singer Shawn Stockman, among others.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake Pack on the PDA at the US Open - 9/3/17

People, 9/3/17 --

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake packed on the PDA during their date at the U.S. Open at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York City on Saturday.

As Roger Federer faced off against Feliciano Lopez, the 35-year-old actress and Timberlake, 36, shared kisses, laughs and cheers during the tennis match.

The Sinner star recently opened up about her life with husband Timberlake and their son Silas Randall, 2, for the cover story of Marie Claire's August issue, where she talked about how she and the "Can't Stop the Feeling" singer make their marriage work.

"We have similar values; we believe in loyalty, honesty. We like to have fun. We like a lot of the same things," Biel told the magazine. "Also, in the business, we're all very career-oriented, and you have to be a little selfish. I understand that about my peers — about being focused and driven — and if you can find that and someone who shares the same values as you, it's like: Score!"

*NSYNC member looks to bring Mark Wahlberg's family chain Wahlburgers to Nashville - 9/1/17

tennessean.com, 8/31/17 --

A founding member of '90s boy band *NSYNC and an existing Wahlburgers franchisee are scouting Nashville area space for their first location here under that burger concept.

Singer Chris Kirkpatrick will join Greg Pranzo, franchisee owner of Wahlburgers' Carolinas restaurants, in ownership of the Nashville location.

Chef Paul Wahlberg and his brothers, actor Mark Wahlberg and singer-songwriter Donnie Wahlberg of late '80s pop group New Kids on the Block, own the Wahlburgers concept and the corporate restaurants in Massachusetts. "They are currently searching for spaces, but have not signed any leases yet," said Mindy Valone, spokeswoman for Hingham, Mass.-based Wahlburgers.

Valone's comments come as Wahlburgers is preparing this fall to open a 6,900 square foot location on Memphis' Beale Street, which will be the chain's first in Tennessee. Currently, there are 17 Wahlburgers locations across nine states plus two in Canada.

"The franchisee is exploring neighborhoods all over Nashville," Valone said, adding that there's no specific geographic concentration for the local search for space.

Some Wahlburgers such as the one in Memphis have two levels, while the others are one level. Single-level locations can range in size from 1,400 to 1,600 square feet.

We sat down with Lance Bass and made him tell us everything about *NSYNC - 8/30/17

thefix.nine.com.au, 8/30/17 --

It seems like yesterday that *NSYNC ruled the world. But in fact, the superstar pop group has been on hiatus for nearly 16 years.

(Yes, that makes us a little sad, too!)

In that time, though, Lance Bass has kept plenty busy, including a hosting gig on the forthcoming VH1 reality series, '90s House, and moving forward with plans to start a family with his husband of two years, Michael Turchin.

On August 23, Lance, who is also an ambassador for Natural Balance pet food, hosted a doga (that's doggy yoga) event with the brand in Los Angeles. TheFix caught up with him to hear all about his exciting year ahead.

As a dad to furbabies Lily, Dale, and Chip, the 38-year-old revealed that spending time with his pups is crucial to maintaining a work-life balance.

"I unwind with my dogs. I love finding fun, different things to do with them because they're super smart, and you know they get bored easily. So we'll do hiking and running and I do these puzzles with them where you put food in different puzzles and they have to figure out how to get it out," he said.

"And now doga is something else I can do with them that keeps them very entertained. That just really relaxes me. And I've learned how to meditate, which has really changed my life," the 'Bye, Bye, Bye' singer continued. "I have a very hectic schedule and it's nice to just have a few minutes a day where you just zone out."

Tony Romo Talks Newborn Son and Pal Justin Timberlake Possibly Taking on Super Bowl Halftime - 8/30/17

Entertainment Tonight, 8/30/17 --

Tony Romo is loving family life with wife Candice Crawford.

ET spoke with the 37-year-old former Dallas Cowboys quarterback on Wednesday at CBS' NFL Media Day, where he talked about welcoming his third child, son Jones McCoy, just last Wednesday. Romo and Crawford are already parents to 5-year-old Hawkins and 3-year-old Rivers.

The father of three later gave his thoughts on rumors that Justin Timberlake will return to the Super Bowl stage next year. Romo and Timberlake are friends and also golf buddies.

"Oh, I love Justin, I think he's a great guy," Romo says. "I think he's talented, you know. We play golf sometimes. Some days I gotta give him tips, other days he's giving me tips, so... I think if they got Justin, it would be a home run. I think he's one of the rare guys that everyone thinks is great and he's super talented.

He also confirmed that Timberlake has new music on the way.

"I mean, we hung out that day in Tahoe, talked a little bit," he says about him and Timberlake, as well as Steph Curry, participating in a golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, California, in July. "I know Justin's excited about his new album and all that. He's gonna kill it. It's gonna be a great one."

JC Chasez Stars In 'Opening Night' On Netflix - 8/29/17

decider.com, 8/29/17 --

Where has JC Chasez been? It's the question *NSYNC fans have been asking themselves for years, with very few answers available, at least until he joined Instagram in May. And even then, all we got was that he's been in the studio with other people, and he likes a #tbt just as much as the rest of us.

But now, a 2016 film called Opening Night has landed on Netflix and it is a revelation. JC Chasez stars as JC Chasez, and it's the best "dramatized version of themselves" performance since Neil Patrick Harris in the Harold and Kumar movies. The film follows all the shenanigans happening backstage (and on stage) during a Broadway musical's opening night. The musical itself, titled Wonderland, is basically the It's A Wonderful Life of pop music, and that would've worked as its own film. But Opening Night allows a wide cast of characters to shine, to sing, and to sling jokes, and that's just what they do. The film is much funnier than you're expecting it to be, and JC has a lot to do with that.

He's dusted off those Mickey Mouse Club skills and brought them out to play here. His voice sounds as amazing as ever, he's still got those dance skills, and those acting chops are totally there. The Opening Night version of JC is a total womanizer who uses every social interaction as a chance to drop a wonderfully cheesy *NSYNC pun. He even busts into "Mambo No. 5" backstage, complete with motorboating a woman. No, really though, he's so good you'll find yourself wondering why he hasn't been in movies and Broadway shows for the past 15 years, and just might even ask yourself, "Justin who?"

JC is surrounded by a supporting cast that all bring their own laughs throughout the movie, most notably Taye Diggs as a flamboyant performer that shows off his dance moves via dance-off backstage and in an "Ice Ice Baby" number on stage, and Topher Grace stars as the production manager Nick, and former actor himself, at his absolute Topher Grace-iest. Alona Tal shines, Anne Heche serves as an actress past her prime, and some of comedy's finest secret weapons round out the supporting cast, including Lauren Lapkus, Paul Scheer, Brian Huskey, Zach Cregger, and Rob Riggle at (perhaps) his loudest.

Opening Night is just the right amount of pervy fun to make it a worthwhile watch due to this ensemble…and yes, specifically because of JC. He's kept those boy band good looks, which is not something they all can claim these days, and truly excels at playing a total douche, with one nice vulnerable moment buried towards the end of the second act. The project sends a clear message that he's not taking himself too seriously, while still allowing him a platform to show off that talent that garnered him millions of fans two decades ago.

If you're in the mood for a raunchier, even more screwball comedy than Pitch Perfect, Opening Night just might be your jam. There's a reason why this musical-comedy can boast such a great cast, as it manages to remain entertaining every step of the way. And will you be in love with JC all over again by the end of it? This I promise you.

Lance Bass Is Living His Best Life and We Are Here for It - 8/28/17

Life & Style, 8/28/17 --

You guys, Lance Bass is having a serious moment — which is probably not something you thought you'd read in 2017. But seriously, he has a bunch of projects lined up, is living his truth, and seems genuinely happy. All it takes is one look at his social media accounts to know that the 38-year-old is living his best life — well that, and the fact that we had the opportunity to chat with him after a doga (dog yoga) class. DOG YOGA. He's living an actual dream life.

The former *NSYNC member has two pups, Chip and Dale, and fully embraces life as a fur dad — he even recently partnered with Natural Balance to reveal their new limited ingredient and high protein formulas, which is what brought him to doga in the first place. But aside from his life as a pet parent, Lance has a lot going on. He recently opened a restaurant on Sunset Blvd. in LA called Estrella, and is hosting the upcoming MTV reality TV competition show The '90s House.

"It's a really funny competition show like Big Brother — all these contestants end up in the decade of the '90s, no cell phones, AOL dial up, you have Bop Its for entertainment, that's It. So these [Gen Zers] have to figure out how to live in a house during this game show in the '90s with no electronics, which is kind of the best social experiment I've seen."

The awkward way *NSYNC's Joey Fatone found out Lance Bass was gay - 8/26/17

Yahoo, 8/25/17 --

Joey Fatone and Lance Bass brought their stunning athleticism to Battle of the Network Stars, and the two *NSYNC stars recalled the awkward moment that Fatone found out Bass was gay.

"We were hanging out at a club one time," said Fatone, "and we went back to his house to hang out and party and drink some more. I passed out in his guest bedroom. I woke up at, like, 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning. I'm like, 'Damn. I got to go home.' So I went to go to his room. I knock on his door, I open up. And one of his 'friends' was sitting on his lap."

The story was all in good fun and Fatone was sure to mention that the two were definitely not naked. Fatone said to them, "Uh, let me know when you're done," before shutting the door and leaving.

Although Fatone had figured out Bass's secret he didn't out his friend because Bass wanted to tell others in his own time.

In the 90s it was a lot less easy to be openly gay, especially while in the public eye, but looking back, Bass might have changed a thing or two saying, "If I was giving advice to my 16-year-old self, I would say, 'Go ahead and be yourself right now. Don't worry about what other people think of you or what they say about you.' I wish I would have realized that I was gay at such a young age and been able to be comfortable with it, to tell everyone, because my experience with *NSYNC, I think, would have been completely different."

Lance Bass Is Calling for an *NSYNC Reunion… But Not How You Think - 8/26/17

brit.co, 8/26/17 --

Today is National Dog Day, but for Lance Bass, his husband, Michael Turchin, and their three pups, Lily, Chip, and Dale, EVERY day is national dog day. "Every day is basically their birthday," Bass told us over the phone.

He isn't kidding — rather than simply taking them for a walk or to play fetch in the park, the former boy bander keeps it fresh, going on regular hikes and setting up puzzles for his pups to solve with their meals. Just this week, in fact, the singer hosted a bark-worthy session of doggy yoga, or Doga, with his four-legged buddy Chip for the release of Natural Balance's new High-Protein Beef Formula — Bass' dog food of choice.

"I didn't think my dogs would be able to do a yoga class," he admits. "They're pretty antsy. Some of them started barking, [but] Chip was a natural. He did everything I needed him to do."

Bass's pets are also a big help to him off the yoga mat — when he had to have his appendix removed this past February, Chip and Dale were right there by his side, despite the fact that he had adopted them from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump's Dog Foundation just two weeks prior. 'It's so funny how dogs sense these things," he shared. "They knew something was wrong with only knowing me two weeks. [They laid] right next to my stomach."

The quality time spent with his pups is a luxury the 38-year-old is enjoying after years of being on the go. "I've been a very busy boy since I was 16," he says, laughing. "The older I get, [I take] more time for myself." Where he was once hitting stage after stage to croon "Bye, Bye, Bye," he's now running his production company from home, getting involved in the food space with Chef'd, and… building birdhouses? "We're pretty crafty," Bass explains. "We build swing-sets in the backyard. … '[I build] birdhouses and [paint them]. … It's fun."

But is there room in the schedule for, say, a reunion tour? "[Not] that I know of," he says slyly. He does concede that the guys may need to get together for ANOTHER kind of reunion, though: a puppy play date. It may prove difficult, as his former bandmates are "always in different places," but Bass says he's *so* on board. "[We] definitely need to make that happen." Uh, yes, please!

He already has the playlist figured out: "They really love blues music," he shared of his dogs. "[They get] so excited when they hear that."

Fingers crossed!

Lance Bass Talks Possibility of Justin Timberlake Collaborating With Britney Spears - 8/25/17

Entertainment Tonight, 8/25/17 --

If Lance Bass had it his way, Justin Timberlake would most certainly collaborate musically with Britney Spears.

ET's Lauren Zima spoke with the *NSYNC member while at the Natural Balance Pet Food Presents: Dog Yoga With Lance Bass event, and he didn't find it too far-fetched that Timberlake would work with his ex-girlfriend again.

"That would be amazing," he said of the two possibly doing a duet.

As for whether there's too much history between Spears and Timberlake for that to happen, Bass thinks they have long since put the past behind them. "I would love to see it happen, and I don't think it's not going to happen," he continued. "They're good. They're friends."

While Bass fully supports the idea, a source close to Timberlake told ET earlier this month that there is still no collaboration in the works between the two singers.

Next year marks the 20-year anniversary of *NSYNC's debut, self-titled album, which is "perfect timing" as the boy band will also be receiving a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.

Bass confirmed that he, Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone are all planning to attend the ceremony. "I was telling them, we talk daily on group text, we need to show up wearing the exact same outfits we wore in '98," he quipped. "We used to dress the same, which was so cheesy, but that was the '90s."

Natural Balance Pet Foods Announce New Formula with Lance Bass and Downward Dogs - Literally - 8/24/17

PRNewswire, 8/24/17 --

There are many benefits of having a dog – companionship, unconditional love, and slobbery kisses – but research suggests there's another benefit. Exercise1. When your pooch jumps into your bed in the morning, you have little choice but to get up and get moving.

Quality time and physical activity with your pup doesn't have to be limited to walks around the block. Just ask the Natural Balance® specialty pet food brand as they recently partnered with *NSYNC alum, fitness enthusiast, and passionate pet parent, Lance Bass. He hosted a doga (dog yoga) event for Los Angeles media and their furry friends to promote active lifestyles among pets and their owners.

"I try to live a very healthy lifestyle and already feed my dogs Natural Balance, so this partnership was a natural fit," laughed Bass. "Dale, Lily and Chip are really active dogs, don't let their size fool you. I only give them food that is made with premium quality ingredients so they are refueled properly throughout the day. Working with Natural Balance combined my love for dogs and my love for fitness."

Bass brought his trademark enthusiasm as he shared fitness tips with attendees including:

  • Keep it Fun: Create new games to play with your dog or set up an obstacle course in your backyard to keep your dog physically and mentally stimulated.
  • Exercise the Brain: Don't forget to exercise your dog's brain with new commands or tricks, too. A tired dog is a happy dog!
  • Fuel Up with the Right Foods: It's important that you and your pup are getting the right nutrients before and after exercise. I fuel up with protein before my workouts and feed my dogs the new Natural Balance L.I.D. Limited Ingredient Diets® High Protein formulas so they get the protein they need to keep going.

In addition to Bass, Natural Balance worked with certified yoga and doga instructor, Stephanie Kang of Doga Alchemy, who took the attendees and their dogs through a series of gentle movements and breaths.

"Practicing yoga with your dog is a beautiful mix in which both you and your dog benefit," said Kang. "You're able to bond deeply with your dog while connecting body, mind and soul."

Doga wasn't all peace and quiet. Both dogs and humans had fun posing with Bass while sampling the new line of Natural Balance L.I.D Limited Ingredient Diets High Protein Dry Dog Food.

Preview of Lance Bass and Jamie-Lynn Sigler on 'Hollywood Medium' - 8/22/17

People, 8/22/17 --

Jamie-Lynn Sigler's brother is still making her laugh — from the after-life.

On an upcoming episode of Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry, the actress and expectant mom gets a visit from her eldest brother, Adam.

"He's coming across so funny," Henry tells Sigler and her close friend, singer Lance Bass, in a preview clip. "This individual would be someone who would always make people laugh and would always basically be the center of attention."

Immediately, both Sigler and Bass identify the spirit communicating with Henry as Adam, who died suddenly in 2014 after slipping into a coma following a massive brain hemorrhage.

"I wish you could plug a chord in and see what's coming through," says Henry. "Because it comes across in such a funny way."

Sigler, 36, confirms that her brother, who was a stockbroker, "liked to make people laugh."

She adds, "He liked to just be inappropriate and make people uncomfortable."

In fact, Sigler says her brother's own passion for making home movies as a child is "probably how I got into acting."

Bass is less than surprised by Adam's arrival, noting to Sigler, "I mean, he's chomping at the bit to talk to you as much as he can. It was just really nice to see. I feel like he was there with us, you know?"

"To really feel that he got the essence of who my brother was was so confirming," adds Sigler. "And it was special."

Hollywood Medium With Tyler Henry airs Sundays (10 p.m. ET) on E!

Some former boy band members star in summer blockbusters, some get inducted into the SNL Five-Timers Club, and some open up their own fast food joints… and lean on each other for advice.

In Wednesday's episode of Wahlburgers, Donnie Wahlberg (New Kids on the Block) is preparing for the grand opening of the new Orlando location of his family's Boston-based burger joint Wahlburgers when he gets a little sidetracked. Joey Fatone (*NSYNC) sends out the Boy Band Bat Signal™ for restaurateur advice on his new Orlando hot dog joint: Fat One's Hot Dogs and Italian Ice. (Although Hannah Montana fans may remember that Fatone already has some restaurant experience.)

Turns out, the secret to a successfully run fast food joint is booze. "We got to have a bahr," advises Wahlberg.

Watch the exclusive clip above. Two episodes of Wahlburgers air Wednesday night beginning at 9 p.m. ET on A&E.

There's still a chance to see Justin Timberlake at Pilgrimage Festival 2017 - 8/15/17

Tennessean, 8/15/17 --

What an odd coincidence: The same year Justin Timberlake is booked to headline the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival in Franklin, the festival sells out of all of its two-day passes, as well as single-day tickets for Saturday night.

For weeks, only single-day tickets for Sunday (the day without Timberlake) have remained. If you were shut out of the chance to sing "SexyBack" on Harlinsdale Farm, good news — you have one more shot.

The festival has been approved to sell 2,500 additional two-day passes. They're priced at $275 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Wednesday at www.pilgrimagefestival.com.

This year's Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival takes place Sept. 23-24 at the Park at Harlinsdale in Franklin. Along with Timberlake, Eddie Vedder, Ryan Adams, The Avett Brothers, Mavis Staples, Gary Clark Jr. and Walk the Moon are among more than three dozen artists on this year's lineup.

You can also enter a contest to win VIP tickets to the Pilgrimage Festival at williamrast.com.

No Britney Spears-Justin Timberlake Collaboration in the Works - 8/14/17

Entertainment Tonight, 8/14/17 --

Cry us a river!

Despite reports that former couple Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake are working on new music together, ET has confirmed there is currently no such collaboration in the works.

A source close to Timberlake exclusively tells ET that recent speculation about the pop stars teaming up are false.

Rumors ran rife after Pop University podcast hosts Maddie Lazer and Hannah Rowston claimed that producer Timbaland told them Spears-Timberlake music was "coming."

According to the pair's recent podcast, they approached Timbaland at Thursday's taping of ABC's Boy Band and asked about "Justney."

After the GRAMMY-winning producer and Boy Band architect realized they were referring to the pop superstars supposedly working with him on new music, his eyes reportedly widened.

"He turns his head slightly to the side because he knows exactly what he's saying, he grins and he's like, 'Oh, it's coming!'" the podcast hosts shared.

Spears and Timberlake dated from 1999 to 2002.

Last year, Spears confessed she would love to work with the former *NSYNC hunk during a fan Q&A on Most Requested Live With Romeo. "He's very good," the 35-year-old "Make Me" singer said.

Timberlake, 36, then told E! News he would totally be up for working with his ex. ""I'm accessible. Give us a call!" he said.

There's still time to make that call, Brit!

Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Pharrell, Jon Bon Jovi, Mavis Staples Raise Money for Harlem's Legendary Apollo Theater - 8/13/17

Showbiz 411, 8/13/17 --

Last night in the Hamptons: Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Pharrell, Jon Bon Jovi, Mavis Staples, Robert Downey Jr and Jamie Foxx performed before a very well heeled crowd to raise money for the Apollo Theater in Harlem.

Among them, probably only Mavis had ever performed at the Apollo in its heyday. Tickets were $10,000 apiece. Jennifer Lopez was there with Alex Rodriguez, but she did not sing. She socialized and dined.

Bon Jovi and Mavis did duets on Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth" and "Let's Do it Again." Downey and Foxx performed together, along with Alicia Keys. Timberlake and Pharrell went on together. The Roots were the backup band. Gary Clark Jr. also chimed in on guitar of course.

Other guests included Chris Rock, Howard and Beth Stern, Matt Lauer, Priyanka Chopra, Harvey Weinstein, Kyle MacLachlan, and Patriots owner/Trump supporter Robert Kraft.

A Quirky Flavored-Water Brand Tries to Grow Up - 8/13/17

The New York Times, 8/13/17 --

After the studied zaniness of a campaign with the tag line "None of this makes sense" — a reference to how a five-calorie antioxidant drink could still manage to taste good — Bai Brands is looking to cast itself in a mature, inspirational image.

But for a company whose popularity was cemented by a commercial featuring Christopher Walken channeling the boy band *NSYNC, that may not be as easy as it sounds.

"We're trying to really think about our personality," said Chad Portas, the company's chief creative officer. "We have a funny, irreverent, silly personality, but we also have a serious side."

A niche player in the flavored-water beverage category, Bai caught the attention of the singer Justin Timberlake and the Dr Pepper Snapple Group last year. The singer signed on as an investor and Snapple group purchased the start-up for $1.7 billion.

For the 2017 Super Bowl, Bai's in-house creative team developed a commercial featuring Mr. Walken reciting lines from the hit *NSYNC song "Bye, Bye, Bye" as Mr. Timberlake looked on quizzically. The play on words, combined with Mr. Walken's offbeat delivery, gave Bai a hit, but it also risked locking the brand into an identity.

"It was really meant to be a bit of a one-shot," Mr. Portas said of the Super Bowl commercial. "It wasn't meant to live beyond that."

Bai executives saw the hashtag #baibaibai spike on Twitter, and internal polls registered an increase in brand awareness, findings other market research confirmed.

"They were one of the bigger winners in the Super Bowl," said Ted Marzilli, the chief executive of YouGov BrandIndex, which found that Bai's ranking in two out of three perception categories it measures rose significantly after the commercial aired. "I think they ran a quite quirky ad, and that seemed to resonate or stand out among the clutter.

Kate Winslet, Justin Timberlake hit the beach in new 'Wonder Wheel' photos - 8/10/17

Entertainment Weekly, 8/10/17 --

After setting recent films in locales like Hollywood, Rome, and the French Riviera, Woody Allen was lured back to his roots by the sand, surf, and sights of Coney Island. The Brooklyn-born filmmaker's latest drama, Wonder Wheel, is set in the beachside neighborhood in the 1950s, a place and period Allen knows well.

"I grew up fairly near there, and I always thought it was a very colorful atmosphere to have a story in," Allen tells EW. "[In] 1950, I was 15 years old and a perfect age to spend time there, so many of my fondest memories of Coney Island are from those years."

The film revolves around Ginny (Kate Winslet), the wife of a carousel operator (James Belushi), who perks up when she falls for a handsome lifeguard, Mickey (played by real-life handsome person Justin Timberlake). But when her husband's estranged daughter (Juno Temple) resurfaces and also sets her sights on Mickey, it begins "the great unraveling of Ginny," Winslet explains.

In the photo [here], from a scene early in the film, Ginny strolls the shoreline in hopes of spotting a certain lifeguard at his post. "She just happens to have a nice dress on and just happens to have time in her day to go and just see if Mickey is working that afternoon," Winslet says with a laugh.

The Oscar winner got along swimmingly with Timberlake. "He's such a wonderful person," she says. "I would turn to him and say, 'Do you know what, Justin Timberlake? The best thing about you being in this film is that you're really not "Justin Timberlake." If you had really been "Justin Timberlake" it could have been a complete nightmare, but really you're not "Justin Timberlake" at all, you're just some guy named Justin.' He's totally unvain, he has an absolutely infuriating ability to learn lines fast, and he's an all around great person — humble, fun, hard-working, easygoing, no ego. Such a joy, really."

Jessica Biel Reddit AMA: 10 Things We Learned - 8/9/17

Us Weekly, 8/9/17 --

She's getting candid! Jessica Biel gave Us a glimpse into her life during her AMA Reddit interview on Wednesday, August 9.

The Sinner star, 35, opened up about husband Justin Timberlake, the funniest actors she's worked with and why she never listened to *NSYNC growing up!

Here are the 10 most interesting things we learned about Biel during the Q&A session:

1. There's a reason why she didn't listen to *NSYNC growing up!

"I was such a theater nerd at that time that I really wasn't listening to either of those groups," she revealed to a fan who asked if she preferred the Backstreet Boys over her husband's former boy band. As it turns out, the Total Recall star mainly listened to music from the 1950s and '60s. "But if I had been cool, DUH, *NSYNC all the way, baby!"

So, how did the Cowboys get Justin Timberlake to perform at Jerry Jones' Hall of Fame party? - 8/8/17

Dallas News, 8/7/17 --

Justin Timberlake brought that sunshine in his pocket and that good song in his feet to Canton, Ohio, over the weekend to celebrate Jerry Jones' induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

But how did the Cowboys land the pop star for a private concert?

It began six months ago when Jones and his wife, Gene, bumped into Timberlake at the Academy Awards. It turns out Timberlake is a fan of the Cowboys owner. The two had a nice chat.

Jones had learned several weeks earlier that he would be going into the Hall of Fame. He and daughter Charlotte Jones Anderson already had several conversations by that stage about who they could ask to perform at their big party in Canton.

"We went all over the map," Jones Anderson said. "I told dad, 'well, since we can't bring back Elvis or Johnny Cash, let's go through the list.'

"He was really concerned about making it someone the team would love, that everyone there would love, young and old. He didn't just want someone who would appeal to him."

Timberlake's name had come up in those initial discussions. After their encounter at the Oscars, the Cowboys followed up to see if the two could get together again with a conference call.

The call between Timberlake and Jones took place several weeks later. The performer told the Cowboys owner he really didn't do private concerts. Jones asked if he would consider making an exception.

9 Things JC Chasez Is Doing These Days - 8/8/17

She Knows, 8/8/17 --

Yes, Justin Timberlake is a huge star who is extremely talented in music, on TV, in film and whenever he's standing next to his real-life BFF, Jimmy Fallon. That said, it's time to talk about JC Chasez (aka the best *NSYNC member, in my opinion), who you don't hear much about anymore.

Many fans will probably disagree with me that the now-41-year-old Chasez was the true star of the beloved boy band. But ever since I first heard and saw the five guys of *NSYNC back in the late '90s, Chasez had a special place in my heart. I don't think he ever got enough credit for his voice or his dance moves. His talent was up there with Timberlake's, and it's a shame he isn't as famous as the "Can't Stop the Feeling" artist.

Unfortunately, Chasez's fame faded, but that doesn't mean he is completely forgotten. I still think about him every now and again — so much so that it's time to talk about what the singer has been up to these days.

1. He still looks the same

Family vacay in Ireland and U.K.

A post shared by JC Chasez (@jcchasezofficial) on

As you can see above, Chasez hasn't changed much in looks but he is sporting some gray, which gives him kind of a silver fox vibe.

2. He doesn't seem to be in a relationship

If you've been wondering about his relationship status, according to an April 2017 People article, "Chasez is currently single."

Jerry Jones throws induction party that includes Justin Timberlake performance - 8/5/17

NBC Sports, 8/5/17 --

Jerry Jones had a Hall of Fame party to remember, celebrating into the wee hours of Saturday morning with thousands of friends.

"Well, the idea of wanting to demonstrate or show just how much it meant to me and our family for me to get to go in the Hall of Fame will be clearly evident by the party tonight," Jones said before the event, via the Dallas Morning News. "I'm not going to disappoint, I know that."

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, a diehard Cowboys fan, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and even Jimmy Johnson were on the guest list. Many NFL owners showed up, too, to celebrate with Jones.

The current Cowboys roster were among the last partiers of the night, as Ezekiel Elliott and Sean Lee were among those dancing the night away in a temporary tent set up at the Glenmoor Country Club in Canton. Many former Cowboys, including Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman and Emmitt Smith, showed up to honor Jones as did many Hall of Famers from other teams.

Jones was introduced in a video that included Presidents Bush and Clinton and celebrities who poked fun at Jones' "Jerry-isms," including "circumcision of a mosquito," "crippled cricket's ass" and "glory hole."

The highlight, though, came when Justin Timberlake took the stage and played for almost two hours.

"We're stoked to be here tonight. Greatest owner in the history of sports being honored tonight," Timberlake said.

The actual induction ceremony could turn into an afterthought after a celebration to remember.

"Lullaby Renditions of Justin Timberlake" includes adorable baby-friendly versions of such hits as "Rock Your Body," "Bye Bye Bye," "Mirrors," and "Can't Stop The Feeling!"

"Mr. Timberlake is the whole package in an old school kind of way, which I like," VP and Creative Director at CMH Label Group and Rockabye Baby, Lisa Roth, told HuffPost. "He sings, dances, write songs, acts. He comes from the mega musical town of Memphis and honed his singing chops in church like most of my favorite R&B singers, and you can hear it. And you have to give him props for going from boy band to a successful solo career to actor without any meltdowns in between."

"Lullaby Renditions of Justin Timberlake" will be available on August 18 but you can preorder it online now.

Added Roth, "We hope our lullabies of JT entertain the parents as much as their little ones, and that through our albums we provide a bridge between the adult who existed pre-baby and parenthood."

For those parents with particularly fussy babies, might we suggest "Cry Me a River."

Amazon Moves Into Self-Distribution With Woody Allen's 'Wonder Wheel' - 7/28/17

The Hollywood Reporter, 7/27/17 --

Amazon Studios is moving full steam ahead into film distribution.

The streaming giant behind such films as Manchester by the Sea and The Big Sick will self-distribute Woody Allen's upcoming film, Wonder Wheel, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

It's a significant step for Amazon, which has previously partnered with traditional distributors like Roadside Attractions and Lionsgate to put its films into theaters. Amazon's Bob Berney has always played a key role in the marketing of its films, but until now, the company has never had the infrastructure in place to book theaters and physically distribute movies. The company has been quietly building out a team of executives who could do just that.

With Wonder Wheel, Amazon joins companies, such as Megan Ellison's Annapurna Pictures, that are beefing up their ranks and rivaling the established studios, particularly in the area of mid-budget non-tentpoles, a section of the business that has been largely ceded by the major studios.

Amazon is planning a Dec. 1 release, right in the heart of the awards-season fray. Prior to that, the film, which stars Kate Winslet, Juno Temple, Justin Timberlake and James Belushi, will close out the New York Film Festival in October.

Amazon has been in business with Allen on two other projects: the 2016 Cannes premiere Cafe Society and the TV series Crisis in Six Scenes. Given the shorthand the company has developed with the director, he offers a natural fit for delving into a new area of the film business.

Wonder Wheel is a period drama set in New York in the 1950s. In addition to directing the pic, Allen wrote the screenplay.

At this point, Amazon has no other films that will be self-distributed, but that will likely change in the coming months.

*NSYNC's Joey Fatone Bites Into the Hot Dog Business - 7/28/17

Entrepreneur, 7/25/17 --

He sings, he dances, and now Joey Fatone, a founding member of boy band supergroup *NSYNC, turns his attention to weiners. We'll let him explain...

Who are you and what's your business?

I'm Joey Fatone and I own Fat One's Hot Dogs & Italian Ice.

After being part of a mega successful act like *NSYNC and scoring acclaim in such popular films as My Big Fat Greek Wedding, why go into the food business?

It's always something I wanted to do. I always wanted something to call my own. I was on a couple cooking shows and on Rachael Ray. I was in Chicago and saw that there is a company called Chubby Wieners. I thought that's a pretty funny name. I did some research and decided to open up my own place and call it Fat One's. Being from Brooklyn, I always was about getting a slice of pizza or a hot dog or an Italian ice. I'm not reinventing the hot dog but I am working on combinations of the flavors you put on the hot dog.

What does the word entrepreneur mean to you?

It means thinking outside the box. It's about being savvy and getting things done. You're the boss. Being an entrepreneur means that I'm on a rollercoaster. It goes up and down. I'm relatively new at this but I love it.

You've been smart to cross-market. You've been in bed, so to speak, with fellow boy band alum Donnie Wahlberg.

There's an episode of Wahlburgers in which Donnie stops at Fat One's and I went to Wahlburgers. It's about helping each other out.

What failure did you learn from?

Making round pizza in the stove was a failure. It wasn't executed well. You learn from your failures. You learn not to make the same mistakes. You see what else you can do to make something work.

Woody Allen's 'Wonder Wheel' to Close New York Film Festival - 7/27/17

The Hollywood Reporter, 7/25/17 --

Woody Allen's Wonder Wheel will close out the 2017 New York Film Festival.

Sources say the film, which stars Kate Winslet, Juno Temple, Justin Timberlake and James Belushi, has been selected by the fest, which is often seen as a springboard for awards-season play. Last year, Moonlight and Manchester by the Sea screened during the event, which opened with Ava DuVernay's documentary 13th and closed with the Charlie Hunnam-starrer The Lost City of Z. Winslet, who is working with Allen for the first time, is said to give an awards-friendly performance in Wonder Wheel.

As with all Allen films, not much is known about the plot of Wonder Wheel, but it is described as a period drama set in New York in the 1950s. In addition to directing the pic, Allen wrote the screenplay.

Allen's most recent film, Cafe Society, premiered at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. But the New York Film Festival is home turf for the native New Yorker, who shot Wonder Wheel in the city.

This year, Richard Linklater's Last Flag Flying will serve as the opening-night film for the 55th incarnation of the festival, which is set to run Sept. 28-Oct. 15.

Wonder Wheel will be released theatrically by Amazon Studios and an unnamed distribution partner on Dec. 1, a plum date for Oscar consideration.

Amazon is poised for a strong showing at the festival. The studio is behind Last Flag Flying and Todd Haynes's Wonderstruck, which also is in the lineup.

Jessica Biel, Justin Timberlake Broke Into a House With Jimmy Fallon - 7/27/17

Us Weekly, 7/26/17 --

Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon did more than just go bro-biking during Memorial Day weekend in the Hamptons. The best friends actually broke into a house.

Fallon, 42, and Jessica Biel recalled the situation while the Sinners actress, 35, appeared on The Tonight Show on Tuesday, July 25. The foursome — including Fallon's wife, Nancy Juvonen — decided to check out an open house. But they soon realized that there was no real estate agent on the property.

"Nancy and I were hoping to go in and so we dragged you guys," Biel said. Timberlake, 36, and Fallon arrived a few minutes later (after bro-biking on their own for a bit) and noticed Biel and Juvonen, 50, inside the home. Biel said she checked every single door until she found one that was unlocked.

"We got out and were looking for you guys and your bikes were around the house," Fallon added.

Uninvited, the group decided to stick around for a while. They checked out every room, including the basement and pool house. The result? They were quite impressed!

Earlier in the day, the former boy bander and Fallon got Biel to film their hilarious bro-biking moment, which Timberlake shared on social media in May. "We thought it would be funny if you filmed this. We were doing it and one time Justin said, 'Don't ring the bell.' And then we go by and we didn't ring the bell and when we watched it back we could hear Justin directing at me — yelling at me!" Fallon said. "And we were like, 'Jessica, do you mind doing it again?'"

The couples — or at least, Biel — was prepared during their bike ride. "That is mom style. I do not leave the house [without snacks]," she said. "I'm gonna have pretzels, veggie sticks, apple, string cheese. I'm gonna have supplies! You will always have snacks if you're rolling with me."

She joked: "I would ring my bell and circle back around on my bike and get a handful and just drop it into Frannie's hand."

Fallon and Juvonen are parents of daughters Winnie, 4, and Frances, 2. Timberlake and the 7th Heaven alum share 2-year-old son Silas.

"He dresses like he's going to a club or something. He's the coolest kid. I felt intimidated hanging out with him," Fallon joked of Silas. Biel replied: "I feel a little intimidated by him, too. I mean, it's kind of like a mini Justin. It's his style. He's got, like, a daddy swagger."

TODAY, 7/26/17 --

He's only 2 years old, but Silas Timberlake is one fashionable tot — thanks to his dad.

Jessica Biel visited "The Tonight Show" Tuesday and confessed that she feels "a little intimidated" by the amount of cool going on in her household between Silas and her hit-maker husband, Justin Timberlake.

"(He's) kind of like a mini Justin," she said of her son. "It's his style. He's got, like, a daddy swagger. You know what I mean?"

Host Jimmy Fallon knew exactly what she meant. He's practically part of the family, what with his enduring friendship with the singer, and he's seen that second-generation swagger for himself.

"Things match and he looks cool, and he's on the list," Fallon joked.

"I'm definitely not on the list," Biel shot back.

And she wasn't just talking about the cool-kid list. After a round of charades on the show, she wasn't so sure she'd be on the list to get back into her own house.

Fallon and Biel faced off against his fellow guests, Matt Bomer and Kelsea Ballerini, and when the guys acted out the title of Timberlake's "Cry Me a River" for their game partners, it didn't go so well for "The Sinner" star.

Ballerini guessed the song title and shouted to an embarrassed Biel, "You know him!"

"Am I going to get divorced?!" Biel mused as crowd laughed.

Here's what's going on in the *NSYNC group text - 7/23/17

Page Six, 7/22/17 --

That *NSYNC group chat you heard about is true, this I promise you.

After Chris Kirkpatrick revealed this week that all the former boy band members have a group text, Joey Fatone dished to Page Six about what's going on inside the chat.

"The last one was me saying, 'Happy Fourth, guys,'" the singer-turned-hot-dog-connoisseur told us.

Unfortunately, the other four members — Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass and Kirkpatrick — didn't respond to his message.

"Son of a bitches," Fatone joked, adding that their group chat is pretty much like a bulletin board. "Things get thrown up there and then whether we look at it or not, we know what's going on."

He said Kirkpatrick revealed the sex of his unborn baby to the guys through the chat earlier this year.

Fatone also described one instance when, because of the group text, all five of them were all able to wish an *NSYNC fan with Down Syndrome a happy birthday.

"I think somebody asked Chris if he minded saying 'happy birthday' to a friend," he said, "It just happened to be perfect timing because he's like … 'Maybe Joey will say happy birthday to her.' Then he went, 'Maybe JC will do it, maybe Justin will do it.'"

Fatone, 40, continued, "It was cute because he showed us a video of her looking at all of us saying 'happy birthday' one by one. They were all individual, but it was every guy. So she got all five of us saying 'happy birthday,' which is a rarity. That doesn't come very often."

The five band members reunited last August for Chasez's 40th birthday. They also performed together at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

Review: Larger Than Life delights at Mulcahy's, *NSYNC's Joey Fatone hosts - 7/23/17

Digital Journal, 7/22/17 --

On July 21, it was a special 90's night at Mulcahy's Pub and Concert Hall, with boy band Larger Than Life, and guest host Joey Fatone from *NSYNC.

When he took the stage, Fatone's appearance was met with a raucous response. "Hello. Welcome to Mulcahy's! How's everybody doing tonight. Welcome to 90's night," Fatone said. "I feel fucking old. How many people are born in the 90's? 70's? Cause I'm 1977."

Joey Fatone continued, "Thank you guys for coming out tonight. I'm excited to be here on Long Island, of course. Long Island is like my second home. We have a great show for you guys."

"These guys are absolutely amazing," Fatone said, about Larger Than Life. "How many people remember the 90's music?" the veteran boy band member inquired.

Larger Than Life took the stage and sang their rocking boy band cover tunes from such artists as Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, Temptations, 98 Degrees ("Because of You"), BBMak ("Back Here"), but the highlight surprise of the night was when Fatone got up on stage with Larger Than Life and sang a nostalgic version of "Bye Bye Bye," with them, and the crowd went nuts. At that moment, the audience was reliving their childhood, and it was a dream for the boy band cover group to sing with their musical influence, Joey Fatone. They exchanged hugs with Fatone, who in return praised them for their talent. "How great are these guys huh?" Fatone said.

Joey Fatone wants to take his hot dog business on the road - 7/21/17

Page Six, 7/21/17 --

Move over, Nathan's: Joey Fatone is looking to expand his hot dog business.

The former *NSYNC band member, who already owns a hot dog stand called Fat One's in Orlando, told Page Six on Thursday he's ready to open two or three more locations in Florida and hopes to expand elsewhere.

"I'd love to branch out into [New York City] and also Brooklyn or Bensonhurst, the neighborhood where I was born," he told us. "There are endless places, but it's a matter of finding a good place that would fit the Fat One's brand."

Fatone, 40, also told us he's in talks with production companies for a TV series, and that Fat One's could be hitting the road in a food truck.

"I want to travel across country to spread the word about Fat One's, but also get an insight on areas and locations to possibly open [stores]," he said.

Fans can also expect to see the singer on another foodie reality show. Fatone revealed to us that he shot scenes for an episode of "Wahlburgers" with Donnie Wahlberg.

He said there have been talks of cross-promotions between the two companies, but nothing set in stone.

However, fans who can't make it to Florida for one of Fatone's hot dogs have the option of buying them online via HSN.

"There were so many people asking us, 'Hey, open up a store here, open up a store there,'" he told us, "So in the meantime, since we don't have a store in their city or their state, we're actually going to have them be able to order [them]."

He added, "I've been very excited about it and just trying to get the word out there."

ESPN To Present Highlights From Third Annual Sports Humanitarian Awards July 25 - 7/21/17

ESPN MediaZone, 7/21/17 --

ESPN will showcase highlights from the Sports Humanitarian Awards presented by ESPN and sponsored by Bristol-Myers Squibb Tuesday, July 25, during a special one-hour program at 7 p.m. ET. The third annual event, held last week at the L.A. LIVE's The Novo, celebrated and honored leagues, teams, individuals and members of the sporting community that have used the power of sport to make a positive impact on society.

The evening opened with a video tribute to Muhammad Ali, written by ESPN's Tom Rinaldi and voiced by Laila Ali. The top award for an athlete was renamed this year after Ali, as the Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award. Laila Ali returned for the third time as host alongside first-time co-host Mike Greenberg, and the event closed with a live performance by Grammy Award winner Patti LaBelle. Laila Ali captured her father's legacy of humanitarianism when she quoted him in her opening remarks: "Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth."

More than $1.1 million was raised through the Sports Humanitarian Awards, which will benefit the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund at The V Foundation. Said Teresa Bitetti, senior vice president, US Oncology, Bristol-Myers Squibb, "We've made significant progress for cancer patients by advancing treatments and supportive resources, but the unfortunate reality is that not everyone receives the same level of care. The Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer Research Fund aims to close disparities in care by taking where you live and how much you make out of the care equation."

Additionally, ESPN will grant an additional $1 million to the charities of the nominees and winners. In total, more than $2 million will be distributed to the community as a result of the initiative. The winners and honorees were able to direct a $100,000 grant from ESPN to a qualified charity related to the award-winning humanitarian efforts. Each finalist will be able to direct a $25,000 grant to the charity related to their award-winning efforts.

During the event, winners were honored from four award categories – the newly renamed Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award, Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year, Corporate Community Impact Award and League Humanitarian Leadership Award. Additionally, three Stuart Scott ENSPIRE Award honorees also were recognized.

Presenters included Laila Ali, George Takei, Lance Bass, Angie Harmon, Tony Hawk, Ronda Rousey, Katie Couric, Omari Hardwick and Ibtihaj Muhammad.

Chris Kirkpatrick: All the *NSYNC Guys Are in a Group Text - 7/19/17

Us Weekly, 7/19/17 --

Totally tearing' up our hearts. *NSYNC may have disbanded in 2002, but the former boy banders still make an effort to catch up.

"There's an *NSYNC group text," Chris Kirkpatrick exclusively told Us Weekly following an episode of ABC's Boy Band in L.A. on July 13. "There's probably a text with every combination. There is one with all five of us and then there is one with every combination for things like when we had JC [Chasez]'s surprise birthday there was the four of us without JC. When we had Joey's birthday, it was four of us without Joey. There could be one about me. I don't know. They might talk smack about me like, 'Oh my God. Did you see Chris yesterday? What an idiot.'"

So, what do the guys chat about? Apparently, it's all jokes and emojis. "It's a lot of making fun of each other about little things that we'll see. It's a lot about people that we've run into, that the band has run into saying, 'Look who I just saw' or memories that we have like, 'Hey I was just thinking about this,'" Kirkpatrick, 45, revealed. "Or just a general, 'Hey we haven't talked in a couple days, what's going on? What are you guys doing? Who is in town?'" he added. "Lance [Bass] is pretty good at the weird emojis."

Kirkpatrick — along with Chasez, 40, Bass, 38, Justin Timberlake and Joey Fatone — formed the group in 1995. Although they've gone their separate ways, they performed together for Timberlake's Video Vanguard Award medley at the MTV Video Music Awards in August 2013. Last August, they reunited for Chasez's birthday at L.A.'s Nice Guy.

The stars have all supported each other through the years — from onstage to parenthood. Kirkpatrick, who is expecting his first child with wife Karly, recently received some baby gifts from Bass.

"I just got two giant deliveries from Lance. He got us a high chair and a carrier or something," he told Us. "I'm clueless about this part of the process. My wife knows exactly everything. Lance has sent us some stuff and I know the rest of the guys are gearing up to send us stuff."

Timberlake, 36, recently gave Kirkpatrick parenting advice, too. "Justin told me a million times, 'Your life is going to change,'" he recalled. "[He warned] that, 'Now whenever you are changing a diaper and things like that, there is a weapon that is out there and it's going to go. Wrap things in plastic, be ready for anything.'"

He added: "He's loving it because he's telling me all this crazy stuff and he's like, 'Just trust me on this one.'"

The "Mirrors" singer and Jessica Biel are parents of son Silas, 2. When asked if he thinks that means that Timberlake has been peed on while changing diapers, Kirkpatrick joked: "I can't say for sure but I can say probably. I can say it's a great possibility."

Lance Bass Says Justin Timberlake Is the Reason *NSYNC Won't Reunite - 7/15/17

In Touch, 7/15/17 --

Stop tearing up our hearts, Lance Bass!

The former boy band member has some bad news for all die-hard *NSYNC fans. According to the 38-year-old, the group is never ever getting back together. Lance recently sat down with In Touch to chat about his current life and also why the '90s group will have to live only in our memories.

While other groups like the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on The Block have reunited, Lance explained that Justin Timberlake is the reason their group never will. "There's just no way *NSYNC is ever getting back together," he exclusively told In Touch. "Having such talent in the group was a blessing and a curse!"

A curse? We love you Lance, but calling Justin a curse is a little hard to believe. At least the fact that the guys don't want to reunite isn't because of their lack of closeness. It seems like they're all still friends with each other and even family in a way.

"Joey [Fatone]'s daughter is my goddaughter, so we're hooked for life," he continued. "We're like 13-year-olds. We're in a big text group. We talk daily and give each other s--t, which is always really fun."

While we'd love to have access to that group chat, the fact that the guys have kept in contact after all these years really means the chemistry they had together was real. It wasn't just manufactured pop magic. And because of that, no matter what Lance says, we're holding out hope that one day they will get back together again!

Because honestly *NSYNC, we want you back.

Director Isaac Rentz talks 'Opening Night' and JC Chasez - 7/15/17

Following Films, 7/14/17 --

Isaac Rentz's body of work includes music videos for groups such as Cage The Elephant, Paramore, Tegan and Sara, Eminem and Linkin Park, as well as promotional campaigns for Red Stripe, Xbox, and Nintendo. In 2011, Rentz directed a promotional music video for the feature film Take Me Home Tonight. The video featured actors Topher Grace, Anna Faris, and Demetri Martin reenacting iconic scenes from classic 80s films. He recently directed the acclaimed feature film OPENING NIGHT, an independent musical comedy starring Topher Grace, Taye Diggs, Anne Heche, Rob Riggle, Alona Tal, and Lauren Lapkus. It debuted at the 2016 Los Angeles Film Festival. The film is a film about a failed Broadway singer (Grace) who now works as a production manager and must save opening night on his new production by wrangling his eccentric cast and crew.

JC Chasez seems to have a self-deprecating sense of humor that was necessary for the role. Was it written for him or did you just need to find a former pop star who was willing and capable?

That part was hard to cast because the actor needed to be a person who could play themselves, was willing to joke about their career, and was able to sing and dance. There are maybe 10 people in Hollywood who fit that description. JC was perfect because he was so willing to put himself out there. In the movie he plays a creepy version of himself, but in real life he's a very thoughtful, down-to-earth guy. It was so surreal to direct musical sequences starring someone I used to watch on TRL when I was a kid.

Yet another famous boy band singer pops up in odd NC spot – a bowling alley - 7/14/17

The Charlotte Observer, 7/14/17 --

Just days after New Kids on the Block singer Donnie Wahlberg left a $2,000 tip at a Charlotte Waffle House comes news that *NSYNC's Lance Bass showed up at a Boone bowling alley.

10 High Country Lanes posted a photo of Bass with a staff member on its Facebook page July 6.

"What a night!" said a post with the photo. "Lance from *NSYNC joined us at 10 High Country Lanes!...We hated to say (good)bye bye bye!"

Bass, a Mississippi native, said on Facebook that he was in the Boone area for an art show by his husband, Michael Turchin, which opened July 7 at Appalachian State. However, a series of other Facebook posts suggested Bass and Turchin did a lot of vacationing in western North Carolina, including trips to Biltmore in Asheville and Grandfather Mountain.

The Mountain Times reported the bowling alley photo started a frenzy among fans, who took to social media looking for Bass sightings in the area. Some even posted dinner invitations on his Facebook page, with one woman asking him to come eat at her BBQ restaurant.

Bass posted a video interview with Turchin on Facebook, talking about the exhibit.

"Can you tell my Southern accent has really come back here," Bass said during the interview. "We've been in North Carolina a week and my accent is back, full fledged."

He added: "This town is amazing. Boone is awesome."

The art show will be up through September, Bass says.

Tony Romo on his advice for good samaritan and friend Justin Timberlake after golf mishap - 7/13/17

Sports Day, 7/12/17 --

Former Cowboys quarterback and NFL color analyst Tony Romo will play in the American Century Championship, which begins Friday and will air Saturday and Sunday on NBC. Here are some of the transcript highlights from a news conference in advance of the golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nev.

Q. You appeared with Justin Timberlake today. You had like a scary moment on the 17th when this lady got hit by a ball. And I was shocked to see Justin Timberlake run over. He was like one of the first responders. But somehow I wasn't surprised. Could you talk about maybe how you weren't surprised playing with him that he would be one of the first guys to help that lady out?

Tony Romo: No, he ran over and sang her a song right away. (Laughter) She was crying because obviously she got hit in the stomach.

And I told Justin, I said, "You don't want to be the first one to get there because if you are she's going to think you hit her." (Laughter). He didn't catch that part. And sure enough he showed right up and he was right there, right at the end she's like can she talk to you afterward because you hit her. He's like, "I didn't hit her. Like I was coming to be nice, like help."

Then he turns and tells the crowd "I want everyone here to know I didn't hit her." (Laughter).

So obviously he did, he hit her. I'm just kidding.

Q. Could you talk about the budding bromance with you and Justin. Hope I'm not putting words in your mouth but seems like you got along instantly?

Tony Romo: Yeah, we just became best friends. It's instant chemistry.

Q. What are the chances we'll see you do the Carlton this weekend, the dance?

Tony Romo: Very little, unless you've seen me at about 10:00 at night in a private room with me and my four buddies. We'll see. My wife is going to join in on Thursday, so maybe that night, we'll see.

Justin Timberlake consoles woman hit by errant tee shot at celebrity golf event - 7/12/17

Sacramento Bee, 7/12/17 --

A spectator who went to see celebrities play at the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship on Wednesday paid a hard price to meet one.

In a video captured by The Bee's Ed Fletcher, an unidentified woman in the crowd was struck by an errant tee shot at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course in Stateline, Nev. Coming over to console her was Justin Timberlake, the award-winning musician and actor. It's unclear who hit the shot into the crowd.

The tee shot was sliced into the crowd to the right of No. 17. That's when the woman got a visit from Timberlake, who was in a playing group that included former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo.

The woman was OK and play resumed.

Jessica Biel Reveals How She Makes Her Marriage to Justin Timberlake Work: 'We Like to Have Fun' - 7/12/17

Just Jared, 7/12/17 --

Jessica Biel is looking amazing on the cover of Marie Claire's August 2017 issue.

Here's what the 33-year-old actress had to share with the mag:

On making her marriage to Justin Timberlake work: "We have similar values; we believe in loyalty, honesty. We like to have fun. We like a lot of the same things. Also, in the business, we're all very career-oriented, and you have to be a little selfish. I understand that about my peers—about being focused and driven—and if you can find that and someone who shares the same values as you, it's like: Score!"

On what she learned from motherhood: "You think you're a selfless person, and then you realize you're not. These little people come around, and they require so much, and your schedule is really not your own, nor is it important anymore, and it's very clear that it's your life now revolving around this dude. I'm not that person who feels like, Oh, my whole life changes for my kid, but it does."

On her experience as a child actor: "My Hollywood experience as a young person was never one of those True Hollywood stories where I was left alone to my own devices with no parental supervision. There was always somebody with me."

The Film Stage, 7/10/17 --

Although a Coney Island-set feature seems tailor-made for a summer release, Wonder Wheel will mark the first feature from Woody Allen to get a release outside of this season since 2010's You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger. Starring Kate Winslet and Justin Timberlake, not much is known about the plot yet, but it takes its title from the Deno's amusement park located there, whose circular main attraction opened back in 1920. Also starring Juno Temple, Jim Belushi, Tony Sirico, Jack Gore, Steve Schirripa, and Max Casella, expect more details to arrive soon, including a likely festival premiere in a few months. In the meantime, check out the new photos [here] courtesy of French distributor Mars Films.

Justin Timberlake Pays Tribute to Late Drummer John Blackwell Jr. - 7/6/17

Billboard, 7/5/17 --

Following the recent death of Prince's drummer, John Blackwell Jr., Justin Timberlake took to Twitter to share his condolences and pay tribute to his former collaborator.

On Wednesday (July 5) Timberlake, who toured with Blackwell in 2006 following the release of FutureSex/LoveSounds, tweeted the heartfelt message, "You are a kind, gentle soul and one special talented. you will be missed by myself and so many."

It was announced on Tuesday (July 4) that Blackwell had passed away from a brain tumor. Like Timberlake, a number of other musicians have also paid tribute to the late drummer online, including Travis Barker of Blink-182 and bass player Nik West.

Justin Timberlake part of American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe - 7/6/17

Tahoe Daily Tribune, 7/6/17 --

If you've always wanted to see a celebrity, but don't frequent Los Angeles, New York City or time your vacations just right, now is your chance: The annual American Century Championship Celebrity Golf Tournament returns for its 28th year on Thursday, July 13, at Edgewood Tahoe.

This year's field includes returning players such as Justin Timberlake, Stephen Curry and Charles Barkley, in addition to new faces like Charles Woodson and Paige Spiranac.

WHERE TO WATCH

Early arrivers should check out the 1st and 10th holes, where players tee off and start the course for the day. Bleacher seating is available at each location, so you could lounge all day. On the other hand, the holes provide a great starting point for those focused on following a specific group throughout the day.

Hole 16 is one of the most intimidating drives of the course: It faces the lake and features a green surrounded by bunkers. Hole 17, a par three, is a great spot, too, as it's the course's marquee location. Experience a little bit of sand, lake, fans and celebrities all in one go.

One of the greatest ways to watch the tournament in person is by walking the course. Edgewood Tahoe is not only beautiful, but you get in some exercise and can check out how your favorites perform in different scenarios instead of being camped out in one spot all day. The holes nearest the clubhouse tend to be the most popular among spectators, so if you wish for a quieter scene we recommend the front nine.

Not attending the tournament in person? No worries — NBCSN and the Golf Channel will both provide live coverage of the event. Hang out somewhere you can escape the heat and get an all-inclusive perspective of the event.

Learn more about the tournament online at http://www.edgewoodtahoe.com.

Who Is Nanny Connie? Meet the Childcare Pro Who Has Helped Celebrity Parents Like Jessica Biel and John Krasinski - 6/29/17

People, 6/29/17 --

The name Connie Simpson doesn't ring any instant bells — yet — but the woman who bears it is a lot more high-profile than her demeanor would let on.

Known as "Nanny Connie" to her clients, the 30-plus-year childcare veteran from Mobile, Alabama, has worked with celebrity parents like John Krasinksi, Emily Blunt, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel.

"[Parenting]'s life greatest equalizer," Biel, 35, says in a video for Simpson's new JBTP ("Just Be The Parent") media campaign. "Doesn't matter where you're from, how much you make, what you do … you are grounded to every other parent on this planet."

Agrees Timberlake, 36, who shares 2-year-old son Silas Randall with wife Biel, "It's very connecting."

*NSYNC's Lance and Joey: From 'Dancing with the Stars' to 'Battle of the Network Stars' - 6/29/17

ABC Radio, 6/29/17 --

Back in the '70s and '80s, ABC aired Battle of the Network Stars, which pitted celebrities against each other in a variety of fun games like Tug of War, Obstacle Course and Dunk Tank. Tonight at 9 p.m. ET, ABC's reboot of the show debuts, and two guys participating used to watch the original when they were kids: *NSYNC's Lance Bass and Joey Fatone.

This time around, there are 20 teams competing against each other in separate episodes. Each team has a theme: TV Kids, Cops, Lawyers and more. Lance and Joey are on a team called "Variety," which also includes Cameron Mathison, Kelly Osbourne and Adrienne Bailon.

Was he concerned about looking silly? Lance laughs, "No, because I literally thought I was gonna be so good at everything!" Unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

"I thought I was gonna be pretty good at throwing a softball...um, I'm not," Lance confesses. As for Joey, he admits, "I am the worst! I can't play a sport to save my life!"

He adds "I had no idea we were doing, like, a frickin' relay race around an actual track! I'm like, 'I gotta run? A lot? And fast?'"

Still, Joey says doing this show was a lot easier than doing Dancing with the Stars, which both he and Lance did great on. For one thing, Joey says, there wasn't a live audience watching them run around like idiots.

"It's not as nerve-wracking," he says. "And there's nobody really critiquing you. No one's going, 'Well, your head was here and your foot was there...'"

"There's no technique or style," Lance laughs. "It's...'Win.'"

Two different teams will compete every week. It's not clear when Lance and Joey's team will be up.

The Academy invites 774 new members, from Justin Timberlake to Betty White - 6/28/17

The Washington Post, 6/28/17 --

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced Wednesday that it had invited 774 new members, including Justin Timberlake, Jon Hamm, Gal Gadot and Amy Poehler. It's the second consecutive year that the organization that gives out the Oscars has broken its own record after it invited 638 last year.

A number of other high-profile actors made the cut, including Riz Ahmed, Priyanka Chopra, Adam Driver, Domhnall Gleeson, Donald Glover, Dwayne Johnson, Leslie Jones, Channing Tatum, Kristen Stewart and Shailene Woodley.

Three of the four famous Chrises — Evans, Hemsworth and Pratt — were invited, too. (The fourth, Chris Pine, is already a member.)

The Academy has endeavored in recent years to increase diversity among its exclusive ranks, clearly exhibited by this year's list. The new class, whose members originate from 57 countries, is 39 percent female and 30 percent people of color. This number bumps the overall female membership level to 28 percent, from last year's 27. People of color will now make up 13 percent of the Academy's members, versus the previous 11 percent. This effort follows the #OscarsSoWhite controversy in 2015 and 2016, when all 20 acting nominees were white.

The diversity extends to age as well. At 95, Betty White is the oldest of those invited. (No, she wasn't already a member.) Elle Fanning, 19, is the youngest.

Invited directors include David Ayer ("Suicide Squad"), Garth Davis ("Lion"), Tom Ford ("Nocturnal Animals"), Barry Jenkins ("Moonlight") and Jordan Peele ("Get Out").

A full list of invited members — in various branches, from acting to design to visual effects — is available on the Academy's website.

Elsewhere in the interview, he also alludes to another album he's not allowed to mention, but "all my fans know about" – presumably the new N.E.R.D. album, which Pharrell confirmed way back in 2015.

Justin Timberlake Sums Up 'Dad Life' in One Sweet Photo - 6/24/17

People, 6/24/17 --

"Dad life" looks great on Justin Timberlake, who rocked some goofy neon glasses at his 2-year-old son Silas Randall's play class on Saturday.

When you're the only Dad at the mid-morning play-class, if you stay any longer than 20 minutes... THIS IS YOUR FATE. #dadlife

A post shared by Justin Timberlake (@justintimberlake) on

"When you're the only Dad at the mid-morning play-class, if you stay any longer than 20 minutes… THIS IS YOUR FATE. #dadlife," the 36-year-old singer captioned his selfie, balancing the toddler-friendly eyewear perhaps pieced together by little Silas.

Timberlake has spoken publicly about fatherhood, even crediting his son with wife Jessica Biel for inspiring his hit track from Trolls, "Can't Stop the Feeling!"

"You know, we had our son probably six months before. We were still in that new parent fog and this job came up," Timberlake, who welcomed Silas in April 2015, told Robin Roberts during ABC's official Academy Award pre-show in February. "And it just seemed like such a great opportunity — it felt serendipitous in a way."

"I just said to myself: 'What an opportunity to have something that even down the road I can share with him,' " added Timberlake, admitting that most of his music isn't exactly kid-appropriate.

And last Sunday, he commemorated Father's Day with a sweet message to Biel and his son, calling them his "2 angels."

Gene Simmons, Joey Fatone highlight RI Comic Con's Music Week - 6/24/17

turnto10.com, 6/23/17 --

It's no secret that comic cons are no longer just about comic books. Larger conventions, including Rhode Island Comic Con, have widened their focus, reaching into all of pop culture. That's evident in this week's RICC guest announcements, from the world of music.

Perhaps the biggest name mentioned was KISS rocker Gene Simmons -- "The Demon" himself. In addition to being part of one of the biggest bands of the 1970s, Simmons has appeared in television shows and movies, including reality television. As part of his appearance, RICC also announced a special performance of the Gene Simmons Band. The show is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 12, at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Providence.

For the younger crowd, RICC is also bringing *NSYNC's Joey Fatone to Providence. Fatone is also no stranger to acting, both on camera and on stage. He's also hosted a number of projects since making it big with the boy band.

Megadeth's David Ellefson rounds out the announced guests, though more may be on the way. Nearly 50 celebrity guests have been announced for this year's Rhode Island Comic Con, and the event is still more than four months away. Remember to watch their guests page for new additions or cancellations.

RICC is Nov. 10 to Nov. 12.

*NSYNC Star Joey Fatone Opens Up About Daughter Kloey's Autism: 'It Has Tested Us a Lot' - 6/22/17

Entertainment Tonight, 6/22/17 --

Joey Fatone's adorable 7-year-old daughter Kloey stole the show on Wednesday's episode of Big Star Little Star, hilariously dishing on her pop star dad's most annoying habits, comparing the singer to a big "furry" gorilla and pleading blatant ignorance to *NSYNC!

After the cute daddy-daughter duo won $5,000 for Autism Speaks by competing on the USA Network series, Fatone opened up to ET about the challenges he and his wife, Kelly, have faced with Kloey's autism.

"It has tested us a lot. She's on the spectrum of autism and there are all different types, so everyone handles their child differently, but we handle it as we go, like most parents," shared Fatone, who also has a 16-year-old daughter, Briahna. "The things that I was able to simply explain or express to Briahna when she was young, I have to kind of take a different approach with Kloey, for her to understand."

During the episode, Fatone shared that Kloey has high-functioning autism (HFA), meaning she is considered cognitively "higher functioning" than others with the condition.

The diagnosis isn't stopping the gorgeous girl from hitting the spotlight with her dad. She had a blast on the series, which sees celebrities pair up with their kids and compete against other teams to see who knows each other best. While Fatone, 40, is no stranger to the camera, thanks to a varied singing, acting and hosting career, he predicts Kloey may also catch the entertainment bug. "[Doing Big Star Little Star] was very exciting and I was happy she had a great time and wasn't nervous," he said. "That kid has no fear."

Justin Timberlake concert prompts US GP F1 schedule change - 6/22/17

autosport.com, 6/22/17 --

Formula 1 teams have been left frustrated after the United States Grand Prix Saturday schedule was changed to encourage more people to stay on for the evening's Justin Timberlake concert.

Practice three will run as normal, from 11am to midday local time.

But the usual two-hour gap before qualifying has been extended to four hours, with the session now running from 1600 to 1700.

The FIA was asked to change the schedule F1's new bosses in an attempt to make more people stay for that night's concert.

Equally it could encourage music fans who were only planning to attend the show to come early and see the F1 cars in action for the first time.

The change was discussed at Thursday afternoon's team managers' meeting in Baku.

Lance Bass Loses Bet, Wears Joey Fatone's Wiener Costume on '$100,000 Pyramid' - 6/21/17

Yahoo, 6/19/17 --

*NSYNC band members Lance Bass and Joey Fatone made a bet during The $100,000 Pyramid that the loser of the first round had to wear a hot dog costume from Joey's hot dog restaurant, Fat Ones.

In the first round Joey beat Lance pretty soundly. Being a man of his word, Lance put on the wiener costume for everyone to relish, and relish they did. But Lance was a good sport about all of the laughing. He even said, "It's actually really comfortable, too. This might be my new look."

Donning his hot dog ensemble, Lance went on to have a pretty strong second round. But when the category "Things Associated With the Musical Hamilton" came up, things didn't go so well for Lance. He admitted, "I'm the only one that has not seen Hamilton. … Who can get tickets? I'm in a wiener costume, for God's sake."

Joey won both rounds and Lance's self-worth went "Bye, bye, bye."

Judge Won't Define Damages Window for Justin Timberlake - 6/14/17

courthousenews.com, 6/14/17 --

A federal judge found it premature Tuesday to define how much damages might be owed to the copyright holder of a 1969 song sampled decades later by Justin Timberlake.

It took 10 years after Timberlake released "Damn Girl" on his award-winning 2006 album "FutureSex/LoveSounds" for PK Music Performance to file the underlying copyright action in New York.

PK said its principal, Janis McQuinton, only discovered in 2015 the similarity between "Damn Girl" and "A New Day (Is Here at Last)," a rollicking soul-jazz instrumental by Perry Kibble, McQuinton's brother, who died in 1999.

Noting the tremendous success of Timberlake's song, however, Timberlake and producer will.i.am called this claim "implausible."

Joined by Sony Music and BMG Rights Management, the defendants asked the court to put a three-year cap on PK's claim, barring the copyright holder from seeking damages for the time period dating back three years from the filing of its complaint.

U.S. District Judge Vernon Broderick denied the motion Tuesday with leave to refile, however, saying "this issue may be case dispositive," and would moot the issue of damages altogether if found for the defendants.

The 7-page ruling notes that the issue of the three-year time limit is one that is not clearly defined.

Woody Allen's 'Wonder Wheel' Scores December Release - 6/12/17

Variety, 6/12/17 --

Woody Allen's next film will hit theaters this December, Variety has learned.

"Wonder Wheel," a drama set in Coney Island during the 1950s, will debut in limited release on Dec. 1, 2017. That pits it against "The Disaster Artist," a comedy with James Franco about the making of the cult film "The Room." It's actually a pretty open period on the release calendar. Disney will launch "Coco," an animated movie, on the weekend before "Wonder Wheel" opens. The weekend after "Wonder Wheel" lands will see the release of Guillermo Del Toro's fantasy drama "The Shape of Water," but many films seem to be steering clear of December. That likely has a lot to do with "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," which hits theaters on Dec. 15.

Amazon Studios is distributing "Wonder Wheel," having previously worked with Allen on last year's "Cafe Society." That comedic drama went on to make $43.8 million globally. "Wonder Wheel's" cast includes Jim Belushi, Juno Temple, Justin Timberlake, and Kate Winslet. A logline for the film says that it will contain "larger-than-life characters, lovers, infidelity, and gangsters." It's Winslet's first time working with Allen. She was previously tapped for 2005's "Match Point," but had to drop out for family reasons.

The December release will allow "Wonder Wheel" to qualify for this year's Academy Awards. Allen is a favorite with Oscar voters, having racked up statues for the likes of "Hannah and Her Sisters," "Annie Hall," and "Midnight in Paris."

Amazon has only been producing original films for two years, but it has already established itself as a major presence. It released "Manchester by the Sea," which won Oscars for Casey Affleck and writer-director Kenneth Lonergan, and picked up another Academy Award for "The Salesman," which won best foreign language film. Upcoming Amazon releases include "The Big Sick," a romantic comedy from "Silicon Valley's" Kumail Nanjiani, and "Wonderstruck," an off-beat drama from Todd Haynes.

Take a Peek at Lance Bass's Incredible Outdoor Space - 6/11/17

World Market, 5/25/17 --

Before the multi-hyphenate renaissance man Lance Bass wed his husband Michael Turchin, the two were living in what they viewed as a series of transitional homes. Now that they've finally settled on a house together—one that they plan on living in for a long time—their style has evolved into a more cohesive look that's comfortable and eclectic, yet unfussy and absolutely welcoming.

"The pieces that we have in the home are quality pieces, especially now that there is a unified intent of building and sharing a home together," says Lance, who was kind enough to take time out of his busy schedule and open up his outdoor space to the World Market team.

He shares where in their outdoor space he loves to entertain, the dishes that guests have come to love and expect, and an eclectic playlist that's pitch perfect for any laid-back summer outdoor party.

Your outdoor area is stunning! Describe your furniture and decor style for us…

Lance: Eclectic and chic, yet functional and comfortable. We always make sure to have plenty of seating available for all of our many friends.

Do you usually hangout in the outdoor area in the morning before the sun gets too high, or are you both more into entertaining around sunset?

Lance: Our house has an amazing sunset view, so we like to entertain around that time.

We know you're a busy couple, but when you have a moment at home to spend outdoors, what do you love to do together?

Lance: We usually invite between 5-15 people over for tapas and drinks. We love trying all sorts of different foods, which is why we like tapas—it's fun, the perfect bite size, and easy to eat. People drink everything from wine to beer, and cocktails to soda. As hosts, we try to have all sorts of beverages on hand.

Got that feeling! Justin Timberlake headed to Tahoe - 6/10/17

Reno Gazette-Journal, 6/8/17 --

For the third consecutive year, musician and actor Justin Timberlake will compete in this year's American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course.

Timberlake made his debut at the tournament in 2015 and has had the largest crowds in each of the last two events. The highly-decorated performer is an avid golfer who plays to a 4-handicap and is renowned in the sport for his philanthropic endeavors.

Timberlake joins a lineup of 90 sports and entertainment celebrities, including TNT NBA analyst and Hall of Famer Charles Barkley; former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo; NFL MVP and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers; newly-retired former NFL standout and Heisman Trophy winner Charles Woodson; and a host of current pro athletes and NFL and MLB Hall of Famers.

The 28th annual tournament runs from July 14-16 at Edgewood, a Golf Digest Top 100 rated course on the shores of the largest alpine lake in North America. The event, which has raised more than $4 million for multiple national and area charities and offers free admission to military personnel and guests, will be broadcast on NBC Sports, NBCSN and Golf Channel.

Timberlake, who has been paired with Steph Curry and Alfonso Ribeiro the last two seasons, finished last year's tournament in 21st place with 35 points in the modified Stableford format. In 2015, he finished in 34th place with 20 points.

Timberlake was turned onto the tournament by Barkley and has been a crowd favorite ever since.

"I said, 'If you play one time, you will never miss the tournament again,'" Barkley recalled. "He brings so much energy to the tournament."

One of today's most successful recording artists, Timberlake's work has earned him 10 Grammy Awards and four Emmy Awards. As an actor, Timberlake has appeared in Academy Award-nominated The Social Network as well as Friends With Benefits, Bad Teacher, Trouble With The Curve and Inside Llewyn Davis. He received his first Oscar nomination this year for the song "Can't Stop the Feeling!"

Other prominent competitors chasing the $125,000 first prize include John Elway, Marshall Faulk, Roger Clemens, Jerry Rice, Larry the Cable Guy and two-time defending champion Mark Mulder. First-time NFL competitors will include Woodson, Travis Kelce, Doug Pederson, Mike Zimmer and Adam Thielen.

Is Justin Timberlake Close to Releasing New Music? - 6/8/17

People, 6/7/17 --

Justin Timberlake is inching closer and closer to releasing new music.

The 36-year-old superstar sparked rumors on Twitter Wednesday night after he tweeted a cryptic message about studio etiquette.

"Studio Rule #1: If the artist plays their music and you are on your phone looking at social media… Chances are, you're an A——–."

His Twitter followers immediately responded with their own tweets, urging the singer to release a preview of his new music.

In February, Timberlake opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about fatherhood and returning to the studio to make new music following the success of his single "Can't Stop the Feeling!" — which was nominated for an Oscar from the movie Trolls.

"Watching him jump around to 'Can't Stop the Feeling!' starting to learn words because of that song — it's the best thing in the world," the proud dad says with a smile of his son. "I'd never have written it if it weren't for him."

Here's Why Lance Bass Loves to Yell at His Husband on Date Nights - 6/1/17

Bravo, 6/1/17 --

Lance Bass is taking the food world by storm. First, he competed with his mom (cue the "awwws") on the reality cooking show My Kitchen Rules. (The pair finished in second place!) He just partnered with meal kit service Chef'd to offer Southern-style recipes inspired by the family dishes he grew up eating. And he recently hung out with celeb chef Graham Elliot, hunting down some of the best underground food spots in Los Angeles in Going Off the Menu.

While Lance always had an interest in cooking—and learned plenty of skills from his mom—he credits his "ultimate" favorite chef, Gordon Ramsay, with getting him into the kitchen on a regular basis. "Once I started watching his shows, I just really got into cooking. And it just became way more enjoyable to me because I would make my husband be the sous chef and we would pretend we were on Hell's Kitchen and I'd get to yell at him. It's a good date night," Bass recently told The Feast, laughing. "So Chef Ramsay definitely helped me bond with my husband."

While Bass hasn't met Ramsay in person yet, he spent a lot of quality time with My Kitchen Rules judges Curtis Stone and Cat Cora while filming. Bass, who has eaten at Curtis' restaurants in L.A., calls them "incredible," with lots of "unique dishes."

And Cat Cora holds a special place in Bass' heart. "Of course I love Cat because she's from my home state of Mississippi, so she knows how to put a punch of flavor into everything she does," he raved. "She has this Mediterranean background, so you know, Mediterranean, which [is] one of my favorite cuisines, mixed with those Southern taste buds is the perfect combination."

Justin Timberlake shells out $20M for 443 Greenwich Street penthouse - 5/31/17

Curbed New York, 5/31/17 --

Looks like the rumors were true: multi-hyphenate performer/former boy-band heartthrob Justin Timberlake and his wife, actress/kid-friendly restaurateur Jessica Biel, have indeed purchased one of the pricey penthouses atop 443 Greenwich Street.

The couple was reportedly checking out units in the building earlier this year, but according to city records, the deal is done. Timberlake bought the unit using an LLC that he previously used to purchase an apartment in—coincidence?—Tribeca's Pearline Soap Factory.

This isn't the first time Timberlake has made real estate moves downtown: After ditching the Pearline Soap pad in 2010, he moved to a penthouse in Soho Mews. But as his star has risen, so too have his real estate tastes; the final price for the 443 Greenwich pad was $20,185,527.38, to be extremely precise.

In a building full of penthouses, the particular unit the Biel-Timberlakes snagged is especially nice, thanks to its enormous private terrace, which is nearly as big as the apartment itself. The large (more than 5,000 square foot) pad comes with four bedrooms, four-plus bathrooms, tons of closet space, and an "entertainment room" that leads out onto that terrace.

Eminem And Justin Timberlake Help Raise Millions For Manchester Victims - 5/29/17

Vibe, 5/28/17 --

Some of music's biggest names are using their platforms to help victims of the Manchester terrorist attack. Among the list of celebrity donors include Eminem and Justin Timberlake who have already brought in a large chunk of donations through social media.

With more than 80 million collective social media followers, the platinum selling artists helped raise just under $2.3 million (Ł1,770,000) in the last few days, Pigeons & Planes reports.

A crowd funding effort started by the Manchester Evening News set a 24-day deadline to raise $2 million for the British Red Cross, but thanks to Em and Timberlake, they've already met the goal.

Em took to Twitter on Thursday (May 25), to encourage fans to donate to the BRC.

Timberlake posted a similar link to his Twitter account Friday (May 26).

At least 22 people were killed while dozen were left wounded in the Manchester terror attack, which took place after an Ariana Grande concert at the U.K.'s Manchester Arena earlier in the week. In wake of the violence, Grande postponed the remainder of her tour and announced plans to return to Manchester for a benefit concert.

Lance Bass' Meal Kit Recipes Will Offer "Amazing" Southern Pork Chops and Mom's "Decadent" Coconut Cake - 5/27/17

Bravo, 5/26/17 --

When we heard Lance Bass was teaming up with online meal kit service Chef'd for a line of Southern-inspired recipes, we admit—we were a little surprised. Bass hasn't been a big presence in the culinary world. Yet. But that's all about to change.

Chef'd, which delivers kits containing recipes and ingredients to home cooks around the country, recently debuted five recipes created by Bass—Orange Cranberry Chicken, Ranch Pork Chops, Baked Chicken and Creamy Rice Casserole, Chocolate Chip Pound Cake, and Mama's Coconut Cake. All were inspired by his family's southern cooking, especially his mother and his "mimi."

"My mimi—you know, my grandmother—is one of the best cooks. I didn't even realize how good I had it growing up until I moved away. I'm like, oh my gosh! The food's just not as good as what my family does," Bass explained in an interview with The Feast.

With these recipes, Bass—who grew up in Mississippi—hopes to give everyone the chance to "taste what the South tastes like." The orange cranberry chicken, served with a spinach-blueberry salad, is a slightly healthier option, he explained, while the ranch pork chops—which have an "amazing" sauce—come with a side of green beans with bacon. "That's as southern as you get, right there," he said.

His favorite desserts also made the cut. "Two of my favorite cakes ever is my momma's coconut cake and my mimi's chocolate bundt cake," he gushed. "I mean, the chocolate one is just so gooey because it's made with chocolate pudding. And then the coconut one is just so decadent and amazing."

Lisa Vanderpump and Lance Bass' Dinner Dates Are Even More Epic Than We Imagined - 5/27/17

Bravo, 5/26/17 --

Everyone wants to dine at Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood hotspots, including celebrities. It just so happens that one of Lisa's best customers is a very familiar face. "I'm pretty much at PUMP three times a week," Lance Bass recently told The Daily Dish. "In fact, I'm having dinner at PUMP tonight with Lisa."

And yeah, you guessed right. A night out with Lisa and her husband Ken Todd is absolutely epic. "We go to dinner at least twice a week, you know, with Lisa and Ken, and it's one of those things where it lasts about four hours, and all of a sudden you're like, 'Oh my gosh, we've been sitting here talking for four hours?!'" Lance gushed. "They're definitely the best dinner guests ever."

Lance has also been a big supporter of Lisa and Ken's efforts to put an end to the Yulin Dog Meat Festival in China, helping them celebrate World Dog Day last May and attending her Vanderpump Dog Foundation Gala last November. With the recent news that the dog meat trade had been temporarily banned during the annual event set to begin on June 21, Lance couldn't be more proud of everything his pal has done for the cause. "It's so exciting, you know? She worked really hard on getting the message out and just educating people on what this festival was," he told The Daily Dish. "And it's just so heartbreaking, what these poor innocent dogs and cats go through. So, you know, she put her foot forward, she went to Congress, got it all out there."

But in a similar way to how Lisa reacted to the news, Lance said that he knows that there's still work to be done to make sure that the Yulin Dog Meat Festival ends for good. "I mean, they say that they're making it illegal this year and they're gonna ban dog meat sales during this festival, but I don't trust anyone too much," Lance said with a bit of a laugh. "So we're gonna cross our fingers and make sure that they do what they said."

Lance Bass Is Breaking into the Food Industry: 'My Dream Is to Have My Own Cooking Show' - 5/22/17

PEOPLE, 5/22/17 --

Lance Bass knows there's nothing like southern comfort.

That's why the former *NSYNC singer is partnering with online meal kit service Chef'd to bring a taste of his Mississippi roots to your home.

"I think there's a big void in southern food right now — especially with a lot of these meal kits," Bass, 38, tells PEOPLE. "Since that is my specialty, I thought it'd be great to bring out some of my favorite meals that I learned from my grandmother and my mom and change the recipes slightly to be healthier."

He adds: "People are going to find out for the first time that I like cooking and that I can come up with recipes."

The service delivers ready-to-cook ingredients in packages ranging from $9 to $79, and Bass' five recipes, along with a cook-off video with the company's CEO Kyle Ransford, will be unveiled on May 25. Customers have an option to choose between subscription services or order the kits a la carte.

"I love that you can really choose the things that you want to cook instead of being told what to cook," Bass says, adding that beginners "could easily" make his recipes. "I'm not trying to teach you how to be a chef because a chef I am not. But I wanted something a little tricky for people to learn something."

While growing up in Mississippi, Bass says that his family "was always in the kitchen."

"My grandmother is just one of the best cooks ever," Bass continues. "I didn't realize how special I had it until I moved away and started tasting everyone else's Southern cooking and it just did not taste as good as my family's."

Justin Timberlake as Neil Bogart? 5 Hot Cannes Projects (That Went Absolutely Nowhere) - 5/22/17

The Hollywood Reporter, 5/22/17 --

Lights, cameras, attention! With approximately 90 percent of the world's media decamping on a relatively small stretch of coastline for a week in May, there's good reason why the Cannes Film Festival has become a popular spot to make a flashy film announcement. But as anyone who has been to a few press conferences and launch parties will know, not everything that is given a star-fuelled promotional giddy-up on the Croisette is an automatic dead cert (many are anything but). Some projects fizzle and die over the coming years, left to forever roam in "development" limbo land, while others spectacularly burst into flames within hours. Here are a few of the more recent major Cannes launches to never see the light of day.

2013: Justin Timberlake's Spinning Gold
Throwing a party for a film you haven't actually found a director for is always a risky affair, but when the force that is Justin Timberlake has signed on to take the lead (and co-produce), then surely it's worth going a little wild. The star was in Cannes in 2013 to promote Spinning Gold, a high-profile rags-to-riches disco-fueled biopic of iconic 1970s record exec Neil Bogart, teasing guests at the bash with a few lines from hits such as "Last Dance," "Ain't No Sunshine" and Donna Summer's "Love to Love You Baby." Spike Lee was later tapped to helm, but four years on and the gold has seemingly stopped spinning. Timberlake recently said they had been "chipping away at the material," which doesn't exactly sound like it'll be getting the crowds pumping soon.

Lance Bass Chows Down on Brutally Hot Grasshoppers, Eats Sketchy Parking Lot Crabs, Lives to Tell Tale - 5/20/17

Bravo, 5/19/17 --

Lance Bass can handle the heat—so he claims. "I love the heat, I love some spice," he declares in Going Off the Menu, a digital series hosted by Graham Elliot that explores Los Angeles' underground food scene. Lance, who grew up near New Orleans, is pretty confident he can handle the spicy food he's about to sample.

But can he handle noshing on grasshoppers? At Salazar, a Mexican restaurant with special off-the-menu dishes that only those in the know order, he's put to the test. While the restaurant is known for its kick-ass carne asada tacos, Graham and Lance also order the "secret stash," which includes ultra spicy ghost pepper salsa topped with fried grasshoppers.

The infamous ghost pepper is one of the hottest in the world, registering a whopping 1 million Scoville units (a jalapeńo is only 10,000 Scoville units). "Holy moley!" Lance exclaims when he bites into a taco garnished with a healthy dollop of salsa. "The left side of my tongue is really killing right now!"

He's into the crunchy grasshoppers, too. "That is amazing!" he exclaims, taking several more bites and declaring the ghost pepper his "new favorite pepper."

The heat test continues when Lance and Graham go on a wild crab chase, ending up in a deserted car wash parking lot after dark. After some cryptic instructions, they track down cook Nguyen Tran of Starry Kitchen, hiding in the trunk of an SUV with an aluminum pan full of his spicy Singapore chili crabs. Lance and Graham dig in with their hands—no plates or utensils necessary. It's saucy, garlicky, and aromatic, and with a variety of Thai chiles in the dish, there are "all these different flavors going on that makes the dish explosive with heat," Graham explains.

"This has been an incredible culinary experience," Lance says, adding that he can't wait to bring friends back.

UPDATE: Seth Rogen and His Wife Think Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Are the 'Better Looking Version of Us' - 5/20/17

PEOPLE, 5/17/17 --

This is (sort of) us.

Seth Rogen and wife Lauren Miller Rogen are seeing similarities between themselves and another Hollywood couple.

"Me and my wife have recently come to the unsettling realization that @jtimberlake and @JessicaBiel are the better looking version of us," joked Rogen on Twitter, Wednesday, sharing a photo of him and his wife alongside a similar, street shot of Justin Timberlake and his spouse Jessica Biel.

Miller Rogen echoed the sentiment, adding "#BetterLookingUs" in a retweet.

It seems, however, that at least Biel has taken the comment as a profession of affection.

She wrote back later that afternoon, "@Sethrogen are you flirting with us? WE HOPE SO."

Confirmed Rogen, 35, "Always."

Luis Fonsi Was In A High School A Capella Group With This *NSYNCer - 5/18/17

huewire.com, 5/18/17 --

Luis Fonsi has quite the musical connection with *NSYNC alum Joey Fatone.

During an interview with AOL's BUILD on Wednesday, the "Despacito" singer gave a little back story about how he and Fatone ended up on the same high school music group.

When asked to reveal the name of the high school students' group, Fonsi decided to give a little more detail about how everything started.

"Ok I gotta explain this, because if not it's going to be awkward," he said.

Both Fonsi and Fatone attended Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida. The two singers also ended up in the same chorus class.

"[Our chorus teacher] Mr. G would always put sort of the section leaders of the men's ensemble to do the songs that we were learning. It was myself, Joey Fatone and two other guys," Fonsi explained. "And we would always kind of show the class, because we were nerds."

The four high school students would take current hits and make them their own, and the foursome eventually decided to channel their musical talents into a group.

"We would always take those songs and kind of do them but more in like a Doo-Wop or in an R&B version. We would start covering [the songs] ― back then it was Boys II Men "End of the Road" and "On Bended Knee" and all those beautiful songs ― in four part harmony a capella. So we became a group and tried to get a really hip name."

Woody Allen discusses 'Wonder Wheel' - 5/17/17

Indie Wire, 5/17/17 --

Woody Allen finished his period drama for Amazon Studios, "Wonder Wheel," on Tuesday. And on Wednesday, he decided to sit for his first-ever Facebook Live video interview, conducted by filmmaker Robert Weide, director of 2012's "Woody Allen: A Documentary." Allen discussed his latest movie, which stars Kate Winslet and Justin Timberlake, and also shared his thoughts on many of his previous films, most of which he believes were mishandled by distributors.

Here are some of the highlights from the more than one-hour conversation:

On "Wonder Wheel":

It comes out at the end of the summer. It was shot in Coney Island and it takes place in the year 1950 or 1951 — I can't remember. I grew up near Coney Island and I went to Coney Island frequently, but I was never one to go on any of those rides… I've never been on the Wonder Wheel and I've never been on the Cyclone.

Lance Bass supporting SAGE Table - 5/16/17

SFGN, 5/16/17 --

On Thursday, May 18, thousands of LGBT people and our allies across the country from all generations will meet to break bread in homes, workplaces, and community organizations. This is SAGE Table, where together, participants will explore what caring for one another will look like when age no longer divides us. Close to 200 events will be held throughout the nation. The goal is to build intergenerational connections that can make the LGBT community stronger for us all, with a special emphasis on elders and aging.

SAGE Table creates the opportunity for LGBT people to explore what caring for one another can look like when age no longer divides us. This conversation is especially important for LGBT elders who often face unique challenges. Together we can be stronger.

SAGE Table is produced by Services & Advocacy for GLBT Elders (SAGE), the country's largest and oldest organization devoted to improving the lives of LGBT older adults, in partnership with AARP. Both advocacy groups are joining forces to address the diverse needs within the aging LGBT community. Our nation's growing number of elders continues to be overlooked and siloed from resources including our younger generations.

Now, even big stars are taking time to promote SAGE Table. See the video below, which features commentary from Lance Bass, Chaz Bono, Mario Cantone, Andy Cohen, Whoopi Goldberg, Judith Light, Jane Lynch, Janet Mock, Sarah Paulson, Sia, Zachary Quinto, and Holland Taylor.

What Do Grasshoppers Actually Taste Like? Lance Bass Bravely Tests It Out - 5/15/17

PEOPLE, 5/15/17 --

Lance Bass is joining Angelina Jolie on the list of celebs who aren't afraid to eat bugs.

In this clip from a new episode of Bravo's web series Going Off the Menu, the former boy band member travels with Chef Graham Elliot to one of L.A.'s hottest new Mexican spots, Salazar. Though they're known for carne asada tacos (and, perhaps more excitingly, carne asada french fries), Bass and Elliot decided to be a little more adventurous.

"I grew up around New Orleans. I love the heat; I like some spice!," Bass says. Since the show's premise revolves around trying secret dishes that aren't on the menu, Salazar's chef Esdras Ochoa sent out something to please Bass's palate: Ghost pepper salsa with fried chapulines (a.k.a. grasshoppers).

As Chef Elliot points out, the ghost pepper packs a heat about 10,000 times greater than a jalapeńo, and the grasshoppers provide a protein-packed crunch. Though he's skeptical at first, Bass loads the salsa on his taco and deems it "amazing."

"I love things like this because I'm always looking for adventures to take my friends, and then you look so cool in front of them," Bass says. "I'll be talking about this salsa for the next two years."

If you're in the L.A. area and want to try out the illusive salsa yourself, the episode instructs you to go in and ask for the "secret stash."

Justin Timberlake's team gives kudos to Valley Children's Hospital video - 5/9/17

Fresno Bee, 5/9/17 --

Valley Children's Hospital's lip-synch video set to Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling" got kudos from the singer's team.

The nearly 4-minute video that features the hospital's doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers lip-synching and dancing was put together to celebrate winning the 2017 "Workplace of the Year" award from The Advisory Board Company, a research and consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. The annual award is given to 20 organizations nationwide and recognizes hospitals and healthcare networks with outstanding levels of employee engagement.

Zara Arboleda, spokeswoman for the hospital, said the video made its debut in late April and has been seen nearly 35,000 times on YouTube. The hospital's Facebook post about the video has been shared 1,399 times. Arboleda said the hospital's communications department sent a message to Timberlake encouraging him to watch and share the video. Although he hasn't shared it yet, the hospital got a call from his New York publicist last week.

"She said he saw it and their entire team loved it," Arboleda said. "We are super excited about that."

The video was conceived by the hospital's communications and human resources teams, and produced by Floodgate Productions in Fresno.

Chris Stapleton Discusses Playing Justin Timberlake's Birthday On The Howard Stern Show - 5/9/17

emptylighthouse.com, 5/9/17 --

Today, on The Howard Stern Show on Sirius XM radio, Howard Stern welcomed guest Chris Stapleton for the interview. Stapleton is a chart topping singer/songwriter who has worked with some of the best musicians in the business. His unique country/rock 'n' roll style has earned him awards in all kinds of different genres.

Howard and Stapleton talked in depth about several different topics, from when Justin Timberlake hired Stapleton for his birthday party, to his work with Adele.

Howard began the interview by talking about how he loves Stapleton's music -- he admitted that it sometimes makes him cry. Howard said that he doesn't agree that Stapleton plays "country music" - he thinks it's more rock 'n' roll. But he also thinks it's very heavy.

The conversation turned to different collaborations that Stapleton did. One of those collaborations was with Justin Timberlake, whom he met when he played a show for Justin Timberlake's birthday party. According to Stapleton's retelling, Jessica Biel called him out of the blue on the phone and asked him to the party.

Although Timberlake didn't pay him to play, Stapleton did half a dozen songs while hanging out with Timberlake and the rest of the party crew.

Celebs get to see Louisville's best at the Kentucky Derby - 5/6/17

courier-journal.com, 5/6/17 --

This was the 17th Kentucky Derby for former *NSYNC star Joey Fatone — and he was a little tipsy, a whiteboard that preceded him down the red carpet proclaimed proudly.

Fatone jumped the rope at the red carpet event on Saturday afternoon to take photos with fans and to play along with a game, Kentucky Derby Bingo, by switching his red-and-black fedora with a woman's periwinkle-and-feathered chapeau.

The 143rd Run for the Roses attracted a slew of celebrities who came out for the horses, the betting and the bourbon.

A small crowd of fans, meanwhile, came out in turn to catch a glimpse of celebs like actors Justin Hartley of "This is Us" and Josh Henderson, who also veered off the red carpet to chat with admirers.

Health Care Policies Take Spotlight at Race to Erase MS Gala Honoring Jamie-Lynn Sigler - 5/6/17

Variety, 5/6/17 --

Hope and community were strong among the celebrity guests who helped honor Jamie-Lynn Sigler on Friday at the 24th Race to Erase MS Gala at The Beverly Hilton.

Chicago headlined the benefit. Guests included music director David Foster, Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna, Quincy Jones, Randy Jackson, and Lea Thompson — a longtime supporter of the annual multiple sclerosis benefit who said the initiatives are more important now amid current legislation that could jeopardize medical coverage for many Americans.

Emotions were running high for Sigler when she tearfully accepted the honor from her dear friend, Lance Bass.

The 35-year-old, who revealed last year that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis since she was 20 years old, was recognized with the Medal of Hope award for her work raising awareness about the autoimmune disease.

"There's nothing easy about living with MS — it affects every area of my life, but that's why I live with hope now," Sigler shared. The "Sopranos" star cited her husband, former pro baseball player Cutter Dykstra, and their 3-year-old son for giving her strength while battling her health woes in private.

The Race to Erase MS was founded by philanthropist Nancy Davis in 1993 after her own diagnosis with multiple sclerosis. The charity has raised more than $36 million for research programs since 1999.

Justin Timberlake memorabilia added to Memphis Music Hall of Fame - 5/4/17

Memphis Commercial Appeal, 5/3/17 --

The Memphis Music Hall of Fame is getting dressed up thanks to Justin Timberlake.

The pop star and Millington native recently donated one of his designer stage outfits, plus various other clothing items and concerts props to the Hall of Fame. The items from Timberlake – who was inducted to the organization in 2015 – went on display at the Hall of Fame's downtown museum on Wednesday.

To add a contemporary flavor to the Hall of Fame's collection, officials asked for items from Timberlake's recent 2013-2015 "20/20 Experience World Tour." "We started talking to his folks right after he was inducted in the fall of 2015," said Memphis Music Hall of Fame executive director John Doyle. "He was very happy with what transpired at the ceremonies and wanted to donate something of his."

Getting the Suit & Tie

After some negotiations Timberlake donated one his tuxedos, as well as a shirt and tie worn during "The 20/20 Experience Tour." The tuxedo, designed for Timberlake by Tom Ford, became a mainstay during the period, and played off his hit song "Suit & Tie."

The museum also received a "JT and The Tennessee Kids" bandstand, along with a concert set list. Additionally, they were given a pair of Air Jordan sneaker exclusively designed for Timberlake by Nike, and worn during his 2015 "Legends of Summer Stadium Tour," co-headlined with Jay Z.

"We would eventually like to in intersperse [the Timberlake display] with some things from earlier in his career, like we do with all our inductees," said Doyle. "But it felt right to get something recent from him to show the breadth of our members, whose careers span from the early 1900s to today."

The Hall of Fame was given the Timberlake items earlier this spring, and began preparing text panels and display elements. The items were installed and put on display at the Hall of Fame on Wednesday morning.

The Hall of Fame – located at 126 S. 2nd Street, just off Beale – will also be adding memorabilia from a pair of 2016 inductees. Items from the collections of opera singer Marguerite Piazza and '60s rocker Sam the Sham will be installed later in May.

Since launching in 2012, the Memphis Music Hall of Fame has inducted 60 members, including Timberlake, B.B. King, Elvis Presley, and Otis Redding. The announcement for the 2017 Memphis Music Hall of Fame class is expected to be announced in early September. Induction ceremonies will take place at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts in October.

Pulse foundation vows to create 'iconic, national' memorial - 5/4/17

Orlando Sentinel, 5/3/17 --

An "iconic, meaningful, national" memorial and ultimately a museum will stand on the Pulse nightclub property, where 49 people were massacred last year, the foundation planning a memorial said Thursday.

"Today, I'm able to share with you what I believe is news that will help in our mission of healing," said Poma, who is the executive director and CEO of the onePULSE Foundation. "It isn't easy for me to stand on this site. What began as a place for fun and joy is now sacred ground."

The foundation launched a new website with videos explaining the memorial planning process, with a pitch by Andy Cohen, the first openly gay host of an American late-night talk show. The website will also gather feedback regarding memorial options at some point.

"This memorial will be designed as a place to grieve, to honor lives lost and saved, as well as to serve as a place to heal and learn," Cohen said in the video message.

The memorial effort will be led by a board of trustees, including Walt Disney World president George Kalogridis; Jason Felts, CEO of film company Virgin Produced; and entertainer Lance Bass. The board will be led by Orlando attorney Earl Crittenden of GrayRobinson.

Joey Fatone visits Mrs. Potato restaurant with Guy Fieri - 5/4/17

orangeobserver.com, 5/4/17 --

When MetroWest resident Rafaela Lopes tells Americans she runs a potato house, most of them scratch their heads in confusion. To Brazilians like herself, potato houses are common. But to Americans, picturing sides of baked and mashed potatoes with their dinner, it's a foreign concept.

Lopes is the founder and owner of Mrs. Potato, a Brazilian-inspired restaurant that specializes in both baked and rösti potatoes. Everything on the menu is potato-based, and there is something on the menu to fit various tastes.

After three years in business, one of her wildest dreams came true, and unexpectedly. Producers of the Food Network show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," hosted by restaurateur Guy Fieri, sent an email notifying Lopes the crew was coming to Orlando. They were considering Mrs. Potato as one of the featured restaurants, thanks to input and good reviews from customers.

"I read and read and read it again, and I just couldn't believe it," she said. "I got out of my office with tears in my eyes. It was such an honor just to be considered. I'd been in business for not even three years at the time, and not having any culinary background, you always question if you're doing the right thing or if this is what you're meant to do."

After an extensive interview and inspection process, the material goes to the producers and Fieri himself, who make the final decisions. Two weeks later, Lopes learned Mrs. Potato made the cut.

Over the course of two days and more than 20 hours of footage, Guy Fieri and his crew spent time with Lopes, cooking and joking and offering tips of the trade. He was joined by two guests: *NSYNC's Joey Fatone and Planet Hollywood CEO Robert Earl.

"All four of us were in the kitchen cooking," Lopes said. "He was just that same character he is on TV — making jokes, tasting my food before I finished. What really surprised me is he is an extremely generous person — he would look at something and give me tips. He knows so much more than I do about food. I was more expecting this, 'I'm famous, I'm Guy Fieri, I'm doing a favor for your restaurant.' attitude. It wasn't that way at all.

"I heard from them, 'We're doing this for you,' many times, and that really, really amazed me," Lopes said. "It's their show, but they know how important they are for a small business and how life-changing that is in terms of business. He was so generous and made me feel so comfortable. They really took into consideration what I wanted, because they knew it was my baby and they respected that. That was fantastic."

When Mrs. Potato is featured on the May 12 episode of "Triple D," it's likely that business will pick up. But the ambiance and feeling of the family-style restaurant won't change at all.

Justin Timberlake, John Legend among Best Musical Moment nominees for MTV Movie & TV Awards - 5/4/17

wjbdradio.com, 5/3/17 --

Two final categories for this weekend's MTV Movie & TV Awards have been announced, and one of them covers a topic that isn't in the show's title: music.

The category is called Best Musical Moment, and it celebrates the best use of songs and movies and TV. In order to vote, you have to use the super-popular musical.ly app to create videos using the songs from the nominated moments. If you don't want to do that, you can "like" other people's entries.

The nominees for Best Musical Moment include Justin Timberlake's #1 hit "Can't Stop the Feeling!" from the movie Trolls, Ariana Grande and John Legend's duet on "Beauty and the Beast" for the Disney live-action remake of the same name, and the entire cast of Fox's Grease: Live performing "You're the One that I Want."

Other nominees include Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone singing "City of Stars" in La La Land, Auli'i Cravalho performing "How Far I'll Go" in Moana, and the cast of NBC's Hairspray Live! singing "Can't Stop the Beat."

Another newly-announced category, "Trending," focuses on viral videos. Among those nominees is Lady Gaga's Carpool Karaoke segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden. You can vote for that online.

The awards will be presented Sunday May 7 on MTV, live from the Shrine Auditiorium in L.A. at 8 p.m. ET.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake juggle parenting like the rest of us - 5/3/17

news.com.au, 5/3/17 --

Jessica Biel says the one hope she has for her son is that he doesn't follow in his dad Justin Timberlake's footsteps.

Little Silas is just two years old, but already Biel is worried about his future career.

"I would like our baby to inherit Justin's charm and his sense of humour. There are many qualities I'd love him to get from Justin." She pauses. "But there's one thing I don't want for him. I really don't want him to be a musician," she tells news.com.au.

"I know what you're thinking, 'Good luck to me, right?'"

True. Biel will probably need some luck for their son to want to stay out of the entertainment industry.

"Well, whatever he wants to be, he can be, of course. I say that sort of as a joke, but in reality, the music business is really tough. I watch what Justin goes through and he is at the top of his game. He has access to work with any producer, and he can actually get songs on the radio," she says, animatedly.

"And this is from someone who makes great music; he tours and makes it look very easy, but he's been working for years and years and years to get to where he is."

She leans forward. "I already have this image of him as a struggling musician and that's like, 'Oh my God! As a mum, you think 30 years into the future and you're like, 'How do I fix this for him?" she says. "I just want him to be like an engineer or a doctor, something like that."

It's Gonna Be May: A look at where some of the most famous boyband crushes live today - 5/2/17

Trulia, 4/27/17 --

To celebrate one of social media's most memmed days, Trulia decided to honor "It's Gonna Be Me" with a look at some of the current homes of boyband heartthrobs circa the 1990s. With Lance Bass saying there will be an *NSYNC reunion sometime in 2017, we got very nostalgic for the group and focused on their homes.

Justin Timberlake

With frosted tips in full force, we first pay tribute to the May Man himself, Justin Timberlake. In the early 2000s he made all the teenyboppers swoon as the front man for *NSYNC, even while rocking an unforgettable Canadian Tuxedo. Since splitting from the group and making a successful solo career, JT has also married Jessica Biel, had a baby and has been rumored to have recently bought a killer penthouse in New York.

This stellar Tribeca apartment, purchased in March of this year, would make anyone cry a river with envy! The large penthouse offers all the amenities with no strings attached, unless you count the $28 million dollar price tag.

Lance Bass

Lance Bass scooped up this Sherman Oaks , CA, home back in 2013 for $1.475 Million with his husband, Turchin. The couple completely redesigned and decorated the interior and have a charming space that is all their own.

Even though Bass isn't recording music anymore, he has been busy over the past two decades. He appeared on Dancing with the Stars Season 7 and has even dabbled in cosmonaut training, who knew!

Chris Kirkpatrick

Known as the founder of *NSYNC after he was cut from rival group, the Backstreet Boys, Chris Kirkpatrick has been living it up in Orlando, FL since 2003. Although he didn't make it quite as big in his solo music career, Kirkpatrick did have a few voiceover roles, including Chip Skylark on Fairly Odd Parents.

Chris is looking to say bye, bye, bye to his home, which is currently listed for sale for $2.095 million. The home is privately gated and sits directly on a beautiful lake. In addition to all the amenities you'd expect from a mansion, in true popstar fashion, Chris also has a recording studio, complete with his hanging, platinum records. We'd love to see what he cooks up in his home studio!

We hope this has been a month full of nostalgia. And remember, it's gonna be May.

Check out photos of the homes here.

Views Of *NSYNC's 'It's Gonna Be Me' Music Video Spike On YouTube Each April 30th - 5/1/17

tubefilter.com, 5/1/17 --

In recent years, the *NSYNC song "It's Gonna Be Me" has inspired one of the internet's favorite date-related gags, and the best place to witness that meme's growth is on YouTube. Justin Timberlake's unique pronunciation of the word "me" in the 2000 pop song's chorus has allowed the track to become the official anthem of the month of May. As a result, during the final day of April, the "It's Gonna Be Me" video sees a drastic spike in viewership, because it's gonna be May.

Know Your Meme traces the history of "It's Gonna Be May" back to 2012, but the joke has really taken off over the past four April 30ths. It got on President Obama's radar in 2014, and Timberlake himself acknowledged it two years later. This year, Twitter users and media companies have once again jumped on the opportunity to tell their followers which month is about to start.

On YouTube, meanwhile, the official music video for the corresponding *NSYNC becomes a viral craze for one day each year. The video site's Trends department says "It's Gonna Be Me" viewership increases 5.2 times over, and the video's search volume goes up 6.9 times over. Even the *NSYNC songs that can't be misconstrued to refer to months of the year see a bump on April 30th. They get an average of 23% more views and 26% more shares, YouTube says.

While data isn't yet available for this year's "It's Gonna Be Me" viewership spike, this graph from YouTube shows that interest in the video began to heat up even before April 30th, suggesting that the It's Gonna Be May meme is as spicy as ever.

I'm all for a good internet joke, but I'd also like to contend that "It's Gonna Be Me" has merit outside of April 30th as well. After all, they don't make dance moves like these anymore:

Justin Timberlake Posts Touching Jonathan Demme Tribute: 'You Are Truly Irreplaceable' - 4/26/17

Billboard, 4/26/17 --

Countless artists and actors mourned the loss of Oscar-winning filmmaker Jonathan Demme, who died Wednesday morning (April 26) at age 73. Perhaps the most touching tribute to the director came from Justin Timberlake, who posted a sweet Instagram photo of the two embracing and laughing.

The caption was just as beautiful as the photo. "You, master of humanity. You, genius of storytelling. You, generous and warm man. You, special soul."

"You taught me so much about life and art and about standing up for what you believe," the post continues. "You made me better at my craft. And, the time I spent with you away from a camera and a stage made a better human out of me. You are truly irreplaceable. I will miss you so dearly, my sweet friend. I hope we meet again someday. I love you, JD."

Demme and Timberlake collaborated on the 2016 Netflix documentary Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids, which focused on JT's tour supporting his hit 20/20 Experience albums.

Fatone, Bella, Menounos host Runway to Hope event - 4/26/17

Orlando Sentinel, 4/26/17 --

The WWE, *NSYNC and E! News will be represented at Runway to Hope's Spring Fashion Show next month.

WWE star Nikki Bella, boy band alum Joey Fatone and E! news anchor Maria Menounos will host the May 20 event.

The stars, of course, will be the 150 children affected by pediatric cancer who will be escorted on the runway by local and national celebrities.

We're told that more celebrities will be added to the charity soiree, which was attended by 2,400 people last year.

Bella, star of "Total Bellas" and "Total Divas," is a social media superstar. She recently became engaged to longtime boyfriend John Cena at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando.

Menounos' TV credits include "Entertainment Tonight," "Access Hollywood," "Extra," "One Tree Hill" and "Dancing With the Stars." She is a best-selling author, the host of a daily radio show on SiriusXM and a digital producer and entrepreneur. She co-founded AfterBuzz TV, an online broadcast network that produces more than 300 TV after-shows. The other founder is Keven Undergaro, who proposed to Menounos last year on Howard Stern's SiriusXM show.

Fatone gained fame in *NSYNC, and his credits range from "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" to "Dancing With the Stars." Last year he opened the eatery Fat One's Hot Dogs & Italian Ice at the Florida Mall in Orlando. He supports charities through the Fatone Foundation.

Mark and Josie NeJame founded Runway to Hope in 2010. The charity has raised nearly $6 million and pledged $1 million to each pediatric oncology department in local children's hospitals: Florida Hospital for Children, Nemours Children's Hospital and Arnold Palmer's Children Hospital.

Runway to Hope also has established a Family Assistance Fund to provide direct aid and assistance to the families of children battling pediatric cancer.

Jessica Biel on How Husband Justin Timberlake & Son Silas Help Her Leave Dark Roles - 4/26/17

9news.com, 4/26/17 --

Jessica Biel is opening up about how being a mom and wife helps her shake some of her darker characters when she gets home from work.

The actress, who has a 2-year-old son, Silas, with pop star husband Justin Timberlake, chatted with ET ahead of her new crime thriller anthology series, Sinner, which sees her playing a mother who commits a shocking act of violence without knowing why.

"I've never had too much trouble letting work stay at work and honestly, you don't really have the choice," said the 35-year-old star. "You have to get home. Someone needs dinner, someone needs to get their pajamas on, then get in the bath, then get into bed and you can't be smoldering in the corner like, 'Oh, this scene I did!'"

"No time for it!" Biel laughed. "Make dinner, get him to bed, you know?"

As for what her former *NSYNC heartthrob husband thinks about the series, which kicks off on the USA Network in August, Biel said is "really excited" for her.

"He's been such a huge supporter of this all along," she shared. "He knows how much the material is interesting to me and what a great opportunity this is for me to do something really different."

"He's really able to watch the show for what it is and not get too bogged down by the fact that he's seeing me in a very different light," Biel continued. "I think he's just seeing it for its creativity and what fun we're all having as we're doing it."

Joey McIntyre on Burying the Hatchet with Donnie Wahlberg & Wishing He Was Joey Fatone - 4/24/17

cbs8.com, 4/24/17 --

Their early days in New Kids on the Block were fraught with conflict and arguments, but more than 30 years later, Joey McIntyre has revealed how his now-close friendship with bandmate Donnie Wahlberg helped bring one of his greatest acting dreams to fruition.

The 44-year-old singer launched his own sitcom, Return of the Mac, on Pop TV earlier this month and credits Wahlberg for helping him bring the project to life following the devastating cancellation of his 2014 CBS comedy The McCarthys.

McCarthys was a slice of heaven -- everything about it," McIntyre tells ET. "When it was canceled, I was like, 'What next?' Then I was at a TCAs press thing for Rock This Boat, a show the New Kids did on Pop TV, and I was seeing all these new shows and went, 'I gotta do something myself. This isn't brain surgery!'"

"So I had this idea of doing behind-the-scenes of a talk show, and the sub-plot was that I needed to get out of the house," he continues. "The kids are driving me crazy, I'm doing all the school pick-ups because I'm not on tour with the New Kids and The McCarthys has been canceled. Donnie was there that day and I asked him, 'What would it take to make this happen, budget-wise, and how would we go about it?'"

Wahlberg introduced McIntyre to writer Paul Greenberg, and the two co-wrote the sitcom, loosely based on McIntyre's acting career and life in L.A. with wife Barrett and their three children, Griffin, Rhys and Kira. Wahlberg and wife Jenny McCarthy also came on board as executive producers.

While Wahlberg and McCarthy appear in hilarious segments on the show, dishing out advice to McIntyre from bed -- where they're shown playing drawing games and giving each other pedicures -- it's another boy band whose members may steal the show. *NSYNC bandmates Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick both appear in the series, alongside with other guest stars including a flirty, fangirling January Jones and an obnoxious Joey Lawrence. McIntyre and Greenberg specifically wrote the actors and musicians into the script, hoping they would agree.

"Joey Fatone I've known forever and we played on the fact that everybody loves Joey Fatone," he says. "Who doesn't love Joey Fatone? He's an American treasure. We played on that and it frustrates me because why can't I be the American treasure? Joey was so funny and he's a great actor. He loves to host, but he's a really a solid actor and I'm just lucky that the guy stepped up to help out. [Fellow *NSYNCer] Chris Kirkpatrick also comes in, in episode five, so we were all hanging out and went to sushi afterward. I told [Joey], 'You travel across the country to do my show and I buy you sushi -- now we're even!' It's always great to see those guys."

Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel in Colorado - 4/24/17

9news.com, 4/24/17 --

Celebrities: They're just like us.

By that, we mean they have Sunday morning brunch. And in this case, by using the phrase "celebrities," we're referring to power couple Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel.

But, while when the rest of us stop by a restaurant near a place we go alot, they usually don't take a picture with us and put it on their Facebook page, it's a little bit different when you're a former member of the second best boy band of all time.

The Arapahoe Café and Pub in Dillon posted a picture of Justin and Jessica on Sunday. They say the pair stopped by that morning.

While JT hasn't posted anything on his Instagram account about his journey to Colorado, his wife might have. It makes sense – the former 7th Heaven star went to Fairview High School in Boulder, so she has a bit of a connection to the Centennial State. Her grandmother also lives in Salida, and Perez Hilton (who you should not usually cite if you don't want to be judged, but whatever) reports the pair ski at Monarch and visit quite a bit.

In one photo shared on Jessica Biel's Instagram on Earth Day, she's jumping in the air in a forest. It kind of looks like Colorado, but one can't be totally certain. There are pine trees though, and it's sunny. That's kind of our M.O.

By now, if you're the type of person who wonders these things, you're probably thinking: What did they have for brunch?

That's something that's hard to tell, but you can peruse the menu here. Here's to hoping they had the trout and eggs!

Joey Fatone to return to Barnstable Brown Derby Eve Gala - 4/24/17

Kentucky.com, 4/24/17 --

The guest list for the Barnstable Brown Kentucky Derby Eve Gala, one of the biggest indicators of what kind of celebrity year it will be at the Run for the Roses, has been announced, and it looks kinda funny.

Comedians Tracy Morgan and Larry David will be at the 29th annual gala, hosted by twins Patricia Barnstable Brown and Priscilla Barnstable to raise funds for the Barnstable Brown Diabetes and Obesity Research Center at the University of Kentucky. Morgan's star rose to new heights on the NBC sitcom "30 Rock," and he is in the midst of a comeback following a devastating 2014 auto accident. David was the man behind "Seinfeld," starred in HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and was recently in the headlines for his impersonation of U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on "Saturday Night Live" during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Speaking of NBC, a newcomer to the gala this year Justin Hartley who stars as Kevin Pearson in "This is Us," arguably the most talked about new series of the 2016-17 season. Also in the lineup from the acting world are "Arrow" star Stephen Amell; Josh Henderson, best known for his role as J.R.'s son on the TNT revival of "Dallas"; and Justin Cornwell of the new CBS series "Training Day."

The Barnstables are known as fans of the bad boys of rock, who will be well represented by frequent guest Kid Rock, Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora, Sammy Hagar, Lynyrd Skynyrd's Rickey Medlocke; and also rocking will be guitarist Orianthi, known for her work with Michael Jackson and others. But the party is also showing a taste for the gritty gals of country with Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris and Cam — the entire female lineup of last year's Red, White & Boom — on the guest list, along with fellow country stars Kix Brooks, Travis Tritt, Terri Clark and Clay Walker. Rounding out the musical lineup are Brian McKnight, Boyz II Men, Johnny Gill, Mary Wilson, Taylor Dayne, Joey Fatone and Harry Connick Jr., whose presence has already been announced as he will be singing the national anthem at the Derby.

Sees The Day photoshoot with Lance Bass & family - 4/13/17

Sees The Day, 4/13/17 --

I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family that just increased by 2 with the addition of two little ones named Chip and Dale . Dads, Lance and Michael, are animal activists and do so much to help animals in need. They were so wonderful and told me the story of how they were just fostering these two little ones until they found homes for them. Well, after housing these two pups for just a couple of weeks, it was clear, Chip and Dale weren't going anywhere! While Chip and Dale warmed up to me right away, it was harder to gain the trust of Lilly, their older protective sister always staying "nearby" to watch over things, but not giving me the full "you're ok" :) . I think all 3 dogs (and their dads) shined in their photoshoots.

If you'd like to adopt a dog, foster one, or simply donate, you can go to Vanderpump Dogs www.vanderpumpdogs.org

Tennessee may allow selfies at polling places after Justin Timberlake controversy - 4/13/17

Chattanooga Times Free Press, 4/13/17 --

After Justin Timberlake came under fire in 2016 for a selfie he took at a polling place encouraging others to vote, the Tennessee Senate began work on a bill that would approve most uses of mobile phones at polling place.

Timberlake's photo became national news because it ran afoul of the state law prohibiting the use of phones at a polling place, though that law is aimed at preventing intimidation, fraud and selling votes.

A new bill passed by the Senate on Thursday 30-0 would only allow the use of mobile phones by election officials or commissioners, and only prohibits the recording of a marked ballot if it is part of an effort to commit voter intimidation, voter fraud or the sale of a vote, according to a news release.

"Sometimes citizens are waiting in long lines in hallways before they even reach the room with the voting machines," said Senator Kelsey. "We need to allow folks to call home about the grocery list while they are waiting."

The bill now goes to the House of Representatives, where it is scheduled for a vote in the Local Government Committee on April 18.

"This law helps us to continue to conduct our elections with integrity and reliability, as the ban on cell phone use is a narrowly tailored restriction to achieve that interest," added Kelsey. "At the same time, it employs common sense so that we don't infringe on our citizen's First Amendment rights."

Here's What Happened the First Time Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Met - 4/13/17

Elle, 4/13/17 --

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have been a thing for a while now. So wouldn't it be nice to hear how it all began?

Jessica Biel's 7th Heaven costar Beverley Mitchell was there when Timberlake, 36, and 35-year-old Biel met for the first time, and it sounds like it was love at first sight.

Beverley Mitchell told Access Hollywood Live, "I was there like the moment the love connection happened. I was like, 'Okay, this is happening.'

"They met, it was at the Golden Globes. It was so cute because they were like—it's that moment like I like you, I think you like me. It was very, very sweet. They were definitely flirting. They were really cute."

Mitchell was friends with the guys from Lance Bass before Biel met Timberlake. Back then, it didn't seem like Biel was the band's number one fan.

"She used to make fun of me because I'd been friends with like all the guys from *NSYNC years before. She used to literally like give me so much crap!"

Luckily this doesn't seem to have affected Biel and Timberlake as they've been married since 2012 and have a super cute son named Silas, who was born in 2015.

Or maybe this is the first he's hearing of this…

Universal wins copyright case over sample in Justin Timberlake hit - 4/11/17

Reuters, 4/11/17 --

The record label Universal Music Group Inc on Monday defeated a lawsuit alleging it owed royalties to members of the 1970s band Sly Slick & Wicked for a song sampled by pop star Justin Timberlake.

U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer in Manhattan dismissed claims by the musicians that they co-own with UMG the copyright to their 1973 song "Sho' Nuff." The judge said the group waited too long to sue and is barred by the three-year statute of limitations for copyright actions.

Fans Think Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake Recorded a New Song - 4/11/17

Us Weekly, 4/11/17 --

A '90s/early aughts dream! The internet is convinced that former couple Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake have recorded a new song together with music producer Timbaland.

The rumors started last year when the pop princess, 35, revealed during a fan Q&A session that she'd love to collaborate with the "Can't Stop the Feeling!" singer, 36, whom she famously dated from 1999 to 2002. "Justin Timberlake is very good," she said during the August 2016 chat.

A month later, Timberlake was informed about Spears' comments and graciously accepted her invitation. "She did? Sure! Absolutely, absolutely," he told E! News at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of his Netflix concert special, Justin Timberlake + The Tennessee Kids. "I'm accessible. Give us a call!"

After that, the speculation slowed down for a while — that is, until eagle-eyed fans noticed that Timbaland, 45, went on a liking spree on Instagram and double-tapped several photos of the former couple, according to screenshots shared by fans on social media.

At first, it appeared that the producer was merely reminiscing on better times. However, that same night, he hit the recording studio with Timberlake and fellow producers Pharrell Williams, Danja and Chad Hugo, all of whom have worked with both Timberlake and Spears in the past. Timberlake, Timbaland and Williams each shared photos from their recording session on Instagram with the same cryptic caption: an ellipses.

Fans also noticed that Timberlake's mom, Lynn Harless, recently started following Britney; Britney's mom, Lynne Spears; Britney's sister, Jamie Lynn Spears; Britney's ex-husband Kevin Federline; and Britney's longtime assistant, Felicia Culotta, on Instagram. She also liked a series of throwback photos of her son and Britney, according to fan screenshots.

Joey Fatone part of Monday After the Masters charity golf tournament - 4/10/17

wbtw.com, 4/10/17 --

The Masters golf tournament wrapped up on Sunday, but Monday After the Masters kicks off Monday on the Dye Course at Barefoot Resort.

The Hootie and the Blowfish Band started the event in 1994 as a small get-together. In 2000, the band created the Hootie and the Blowfish Foundation, raising millions of dollars since its inception.

The tournament benefits various charities in South Carolina, including the South Carolina Junior Golf Association. This organization has given nearly $800,000 in scholarships and was ranked the number one junior golf association in the nation in 2008.

The director, Happ Lathrop, said the junior golf association teaches kids the game of golf, but more importantly, it builds their character.

"They turn out to just be better people," said Lathrop. "The game teaches them so much about life traits and things that we need to do to make sure kids grow up, as we say, 'on the right course.'"

The tournament brings many celebrities to the area, including NFL player Marcus Allen, Jim Cantore of The Weather Channel, and musician Joey Fatone, to name a few.

The tournament starts Monday at 10 a.m. on the Dye Course at Barefoot Resort. There will be an awards banquet and reception, and Hootie and the Blowfish will have a concert around 8:30 p.m. The tickets for this event are sold out.

Donnie Wahlberg, Joey Fatone celebrate Central Florida's 2nd Wahlburgers - 4/7/17

Orlando Business Journal, 4/7/17 --

Donnie Wahlberg and former *NSYNC singer Joey Fatone made a grand entrance at the VIP celebration event on April 6 at the new Wahlburgers in Waterford Lakes Town Center.

The two celebrities — both now active in the food industry — greeted guests at the 6,700-square-foot restaurant at 749 N. Alafaya Trail, which formerly housed Amigo's Tex-Mex. It's the second Wahlburgers to open in Central Florida, with the first in downtown Orlando.

At the event, Wahlberg presented a $50,000 check he and the restaurants are donating to the Pulse nightclub mass shooting victims. Wahlberg also said during the event that he is giving the firm's Florida employees backstage passes for a New Kids on the Block concert in Tampa.

Lance Bass to appear on 'Hollywood Darlings' - 4/7/17

New York Post, 4/7/17 --

It's sure to tickle those who grew up in the '90s to know that Stephanie Tanner, Lucy Camden and Al Lambert are all friends in real life.

At least the actresses who played those respective characters — Jodie Sweetin ("Full House"), Beverley Mitchell ("7th Heaven") and Christine Lakin ("Step By Step"), certainly are. And now the three 30-something pals — who grew up together as child stars in the business — are taking their friendship to the screen in the new comedy series "Hollywood Darlings," premiering Wednesday at 8 p.m. on Pop.

The '90s nostalgia of "Darlings" reaches a fever pitch with its guest cast, which reads like a table of contents from an old issue of Teen Beat — Andrew Keegan ("10 Things I Hate About You"), Andrea Barber ("Full House"), Tamera Mowry ("Sister, Sister"), Jaleel White ("Family Matters"), Lance Bass (*NSYNC) and Soleil Moon Frye ("Punky Brewster"). After scouring their collective Rolodexes for names to recruit, the ladies say the former teen stars were more than happy to come poke fun at themselves with three actresses who share the same unique childhood.

"[They knew] that we were never going to put them in a compromising position where they felt uncomfortable with their characters," says Mitchell, 36. "It was really fun and it brought back what we all got into this business for in the first place."

Justin Timberlake, Eddie Vedder, Ryan Adams Lead 2017 Pilgrimage Lineup - 4/4/17

Rolling Stone, 4/4/17 --

Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival announced its 2017 lineup, which features its partial owner and producer – Memphis native and pop superstar Justin Timberlake – as well as Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder. Held on September 23rd and 24rd in Franklin, Tennessee, the third-year festival will also play host to alt-country pioneer Ryan Adams, Avett Brothers, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, Shovels & Rope and Amanda Shires.

Most notable on the 2017 bill for country and Americana fans is Grammy nominee Adams, whose 2017 North American tour in promotion of February's Prisoner initially skipped Tennessee. Shires, who joined husband Jason Isbell onstage at Pilgrimage 2016, makes her solo Pilgrimage debut. Also of note are outlaw country singer Nikki Lane and roots pop duo Muddy Magnolias, plus soul legend Mavis Staples and Americana favorites Colter Wall, Valerie June and Pokey LaFarge.

Launched in 2015 by Kevin Griffin of Nineties rock act Better than Ezra (who are also slated to play in 2017), the event drew its inspiration from the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and features a variety of genres. The 2016 edition boasted headliners Hall & Oates and Beck, with sets by Brothers Osborne, Jason Isbell and Grace Potter.

According to its post-event release, Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival saw 15,000 attendees each of its two days in 2016. Tickets for the 2017 edition are on sale now.

Baby on the Way for Chris and Karly Kirkpatrick - 3/31/17

PEOPLE, 3/31/17 --

Chris Kirkpatrick might want to start practicing saying "Bye Bye Bye" to sleep — he's going to be a dad!

The *NSYNC alum and his wife Karly are expecting their first child in October, the couple confirms exclusively to PEOPLE, sharing a photoshopped image of themselves in front of the movie poster for The Boss Baby.

"Karly and I are over the moon excited that we are welcoming a new addition to the family," Kirkpatrick, 45, tells PEOPLE. "We are both looking forward to becoming parents, and learning how much fun having a child will be."

Kirkpatrick and longtime love Karly, 33, tied the knot in November 2013 in Orlando, Florida, amid 300 family and friends at the Italian-themed Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, which is situated on Universal Orlando Resort property.

Among the attendees at the couple's nuptials? Kirkpatrick's former *NSYNC bandmates Justin Timberlake (along with wife Jessica Biel), JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass, who served as ushers during the ceremony.

"Justin and Joey were giving me wedding advice. Justin was like, 'You're going to be a little bit nervous here, but it'll be okay,' " the groom told PEOPLE exclusively following his big day. "It was really funny."

He added, "I'm the oldest one of us, and I never thought I'd be getting wedding advice from Justin Timberlake! They made things seem really normal."

The idea of expanding their brood has been on the spouses' minds for a while, according to the singer, dancer and voice actor.

"Karly wants to have kids really quickly, so we're going to do that. That's our plan," he said in 2013. "We're definitely ready to have children – we both want them."

Kirkpatrick added at the time that Orlando — where he said he has lived for "most of my adult life" — was home then but that the couple, who now reside in Nashville, wasn't opposed to relocating.

"We've talked about moving, but where?" he said. "We love California as well as the East Coast but if we have kids, we want to live somewhere that is good for raising them. Wherever we end up will be kid-friendly."

Victoria Beckham talks about meeting *NSYNC - 3/30/17

PEOPLE, 3/30/17 --

Victoria Beckham has spent the past decade or so focused on her fashion empire — but it seems like she's ready to sing again!

On Wednesday, the 42-year-old style star showed fans on Snapchat a behind-the-scenes sneak peek of her next TV appearance — a trip with James Corden on his popular Late Late Show segment Carpool Karaoke.

Beckham also made an appearance on The Late Late Show Wednesday night, where she shared secrets of the Spice Girls early days — including a run-in they had with a then-unknown band destined for superstardom.

"When we were in the Spice Girls, we were in Germany doing some road show. And we were sitting there in an airport — five girls all there together. And some guy comes up and he says, 'Hey, I'm in a band. I've got my friends. Can we come and sing for you?' So we're all sitting there, glasses on in the airport like you do. Five girls. And we're like, 'Yeah you can come sing to us.' "

"They stood there and they could sing," she said. "And it was *NSYNC. And that was Justin Timberlake. But we were like, 'Yeah, you can sing.' And they shut us up because they were good!"

Justin Timberlake to Perform at the 2017 Formula One U.S. Grand Prix in Texas - 3/29/17

PEOPLE, 3/29/17 --

Can't stop the feeling – especially at over 200 mph.

Justin Timberlake will take his latest, infectious hit to the 2017 Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix this October as the headlining performer of the Circuit of the Americas Super Stage.

The pop star is following in the footsteps of last year's headliner, Taylor Swift, who performed a catalog of her hit songs, including "We Are Never Ever Ever Getting Back Together" and "Fifteen."

Though Timberlake, 36, won't take the stage in Austin, Texas, until Saturday, Oct. 21, tickets will be on sale for all three days of the Grand Prix starting on Friday, March 31 through the COTA website.

"We're thrilled to have Justin Timberlake perform at this year's United States Grand Prix," Bobby Epstein, chairman of Circuit of The Americas, said in a statement.

"After five years, the F1 USGP weekend at COTA has evolved into an annual destination where residents and visitors alike can experience a combination of world-class music, entertainment and motorsports."

Last year, racer Lewis Hamilton won the Grand Prix with a time of 1 hour and 38 minutes. The 2017 competitors have yet to be announced.

Justin Timberlake Posts Instagram With Pharrell and Timbaland, Teases Working With Superstar Producer Combo - 3/29/17

Billboard, 3/29/17 --

In the early-to-mid '00s, the only pop star/producer combo that could rival Justin Timberlake and Pharrell for musical potency and blockbuster potential was probably Justin Timberlake and Timbaland. Now, we might get all three of them collaborating together -- and more.

Timberlake took to Instagram late Tuesday night (Mar. 28) to post a photo of him, Skateboard P and Timbo chilling together on a sofa. No context was given for the snapshot, but a couple hours later, JT quote-tweeted his former collaborator Danja -- a regular co-producer of Timbaland's as well -- saying "What u think u gon get if I'm with Tim in one room... and Pharrell and Chad [Hugo, Pharrell's partner in The Neptunes] in another room at the same time on the same project?"

Could new music from Timberlake and this dream-team production crew be on its way? No official word yet, but Justin commented on the tweet the always-telling "eyes" emoji, so don't be surprised if it ends up coming to fruition soon enough.

Van Jones Calls Out Hollywood, Reality TV for Trump's Rise, Says 'SNL' Should Air 24/7 - 3/25/17

Variety, 3/25/17 --

Thursday morning, the Montage in Beverly Hills became the stomping grounds for EMA as it kicked off its inaugural two-day Impact Summit.

Along with the most environmentally conscious suited professionals, the event drew Malin Akerman, Lance Bass, and Van Jones who delivered a keynote, "Where We Went Wrong and How We Can Change the Future."

Before addressing the crowd, "The Messy Truth" host spoke with Variety to weigh in on the media's impact on politics.

"I'm hoping that we'll be able to find better ways to listen to each other," he said. "People are now almost completely isolated from each other from a media point of view. The media is no longer just what happens on television. Algorithms that Twitter and Instagram and [others] use that suggest you follow this person and this person are killing us. They only suggest you follow people that are just like you. The algorithms never say maybe because you've followed a hundred liberals maybe you want to consider following one conservative. Nope. You follow one hundred liberals, they'll let you follow a thousand, ten thousand, and a million liberals. You'll never hear from somebody else."

Inside, Jones took a personal approach. With his notebook facedown on the podium, he looked to the crowd saying, "We can't recover from two things and the world can't recover from two things. One is nuclear war and the other is runaway catastrophic climate change. Those two threats are now more present than they've ever been in the history of this country because of the president."

Jones' speech continued his remarks, which earned him a standing ovation and praise from Bass, who told the audience with a smile, "It feels like I just left church."

Lance Bass & Husband Michael Turchin Meeting With Surrogate To 'Start A Family' - 3/24/17

HollywoodLife.com, 3/24/17 --

Lance Bass, 37, and Michael Turchin, 30, tied the knot in 2014, making history by becoming the first same-sex couple to marry on an American TV network. Now, after two years of wedded bliss, the pair is ready to expand their brood. "Yeah we want to start a family," Lance told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY at the EMA Impact event on March 23. "When you like just being at home so much, you know it's time to do that. My husband and I are going to be meeting with a company that does surrogacy soon, and hopefully, it won't scare us too much." Great news!

Lance is on the board of the EMA Impact, an environmental organization based in LA. They're holding summits on March 23 and 24, and Lance introduced one of the panels. While addressing the current issues, he slammed Donald Trump! Lance told us EXCLUSIVELY, "We're going to have to pick up the slack because we can't rely on our President. We're going to have to keep working to protect the environment, even when our leaders are failing us. The silver lining in this situation is that so many more people are getting involved in trying to fight for the environment."

"Corporations are only thinking about squeezing the most out of oil as possible," Lance told HollywoodLife.com. "But I believe oil companies are investing in clean energy as well. However, protecting the environment puts us on the right side of history." The former *NSYNC singer is clearly invested into important environmental concerns and is using his voice to inspire change!

Fans are beyond elated to hear about Lance's baby plans, especially after they teased the idea last year. Lance and his hubby started dating in Jan. 2011 and got engaged in Sept. 2013. The pair exchanged their vows the following year on the E! special, Lance Loves Michael: The Lance Bass Wedding. Lance and Michael seem so blissful and we're sure they'd make amazing parents!

Bye Bye Bye to the BSB-*NSYNC Rivalry: Lance Bass Talks Hitting the Stage with the Backstreet Boys in Vegas - 3/24/17

PEOPLE, 3/24/17 --

Everybody (yeah) likes the Backstreet Boys – including Lance Bass.

Bass waved the white flag on the most prominent '90s rivalry last week when he took the stage with the popular boy band during their Las Vegas show at the Planet Hollywood hotel.

"Very ironic that I would be onstage with the Backstreet Boys," admits the former *NSYNC in a new interview with PEOPLE Now. "If you told me that 15 years ago I would have been like, 'What?!' and the fans would have gone nuts."

The 37-year-old was pulled onstage by the group to help perform their 2000 hit "Shape of My Heart."

"I went to [A.J. McLean] before the show, I was like, 'Please don't pull me onstage,' " Bass shares, adding that he asked McLean to instead pick out his husband Michael Turchin for the bit. "I had no idea they were gonna do that."

Earlier this year, Bass' bandmate Joey Fatone was also serenaded by the BSB guys: Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson, McLean, Brian Littrell and Howie Dorough.

I love those guys," Bass says of the group. "I've become really good friends with some of the guys, you know, after we stopped making music."

He jokes, "We were allowed to talk after that, I guess."

Lance Bass on Trump: 'You can't always trust your leaders' - 3/24/17

Fox News, 3/24/17 --

Lance Bass is getting serious. The former *NSYNC boy bander has become a 37-year-old environmental activist — and a very outspoken one when it comes to President Donald Trump.

"Unfortunately, we can't rely on our president for the first time in history," Bass, a presenter at the Environmental Media Association Summit in Beverly Hills, told Fox News. "So we are going to have to do it ourselves. That is why organizations like EMA exist.

"You can't always trust your leaders to do the right thing, so that is why we have to pick up the slack. And for the next four years, or however long '45' is going to be in, we are going to have to pick up the slack and we are ready for that, and that's what we were built for. I think we do a great job."

The "My Kitchen Rules" star said environmental activism has always been important, "but it has never been so important as it is right now, because everything is getting defunded that has to do with helping this planet. And that is the scariest thing I have ever witnessed in my lifetime.

"To know half this country agrees with that, or is scammed to not think that that is dangerous, is really scary. I'm planning on having kids, and I want my grandkids and great-grandkids to have a healthy life on this planet, and we have to pre-empt that now."

Bass said celebrity provides a platform for social, environmental and political advocacy.

"I think it's very important," he said. "We have a responsibility. If you have a fan base, I think you need to have a message, whether it's environment, any kind of cause, you need to be passionate about what you believe in. You need to spread the good word and educate people."

Being outspoken wasn't always easy, Bass said.

"I've seen a lot of ignorance in this world," he said. "I came from Mississippi, I'm a gay man, I was in a boy band — so I've seen a lot of hatred and ignorance over stupid things. So you just have to figure out how to talk about that, how to speak to people who don't agree with you.

"That has been the tricky part for sure, and you learn. And it's nice when you change people's opinion."

The March 23-34 EMA Summit focused on solutions of impact investing, sustainable corporations, environmental innovation and activism. Among the other presenters were Swedish-Canadian actress Malin Akerman and Canadian actress Emmanuelle Chirqui.

Lance Bass: From *NSYNC To Global Environmental Activist - 3/22/17

Forbes, 3/22/17 --

I spoke to Lance Bass, a member of the famed music group *NSYNC, as he prepares to speak at the EMA IMPACT Summit, taking place on March 23 and 24 at the Montage in Beverly Hills, California. Bass, a Board Member of EMA, talked to me about his role, how he overcame one of his career struggles, the impact he wants to have on the world and his best advice.

As a member of *NSYNC, Lance won a number of honors, including a People's Choice Award, an American Music Award, an MTV Video Music Award, a Kids' Choice Award, and a host of Grammy nominations. Lance was inducted into the Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame, making him the youngest person ever to receive this honor. He is currently Youth Spokesperson for World Space Week and remains active in various charitable organizations, including the Lance Bass Foundation, created to meet the health and educational needs of children.

Dan Schawbel: What is your role at the EMA Impact Summit and what do you want the audience to walk away with?

Lance Bass: Everyone on the EMA Board is so excited about IMPACT. We've been using our voices for nearly 28 years to share positive environmental alternatives and solutions for the issues that we face. With the EMA Awards, we're able to honor and promote amazing content and individuals. But now, with IMPACT, we can literally offer investment, corporate and start up business solutions. I wear a lot of different hats in the entertainment world, but at heart, I love business and the process. My role at IMPACT is to use whatever influence I have, to promote all the ways we have now to globally shift to a clean economy. I'll be at IMPACT throughout the Summit and will be introducing several of our incredible speakers. I'll also be pushing everything out on my social platforms to share all this urgently needed info with my followers. Couldn't be more proud to be part of this.

Schawbel: Why did you join the EMA Executive Board of Directors and are supporting the EMA IMPACT Summit and how does it relate to your entertainment background?

Bass: I joined the EMA Executive Board of Directors because the work they do to better our planet is invaluable. Ever since I was a child, I've always tried to do my part when it came to preserving our fragile environment. Now, as an adult who has been blessed with a great platform to reach the masses, I feel it's my responsibility to continue this fight.

The entertainment industry has a huge influence over society as a whole. Children and adults alike emulate what they see on tv, in movies, and in magazines, and as a result we have a responsibility to use these platforms to affect positive change--especially when it comes to preserving and enriching the planet.

Schawbel: Can you discuss one struggle in your career, how you overcame it and what you learned as a result that has made you more effective?

Bass: I'd have to say the biggest obstacle in my career was my struggle with my sexuality and subsequent coming out in 2006. At the time I was fresh off a decade long whirlwind traveling the globe as part of the biggest music group in the world, and the pressure to hide my sexuality was a constant burden I had to endure. Also, the fact that I come from a fairly conservative southern baptist family didn't help my situation. Luckily, after coming out, I was overwhelmed with a barrage of support from friends, family, and fans alike, but I now suddenly had to defend myself against so many people who didn't agree with or didn't understand my life as a gay man. At first I would emotionally lash out against my critics who would make disparaging comments about my life, but quickly I learned that fighting conflict with further conflict ultimately led to nowhere. It became clear that the only way I could change people's minds was by challenging my opponents with facts, reasoning, and genuine compassion. I often compare this situation with those who don't believe in global warming. Many people just have a lack of education and are a product of their closed-minded environments. As a result, we must rise above this ignorance and instead try to change the minds of these people through education and appealing to logic rather than pure emotion.

See Lance Bass join Backstreet Boys onstage in Vegas - 3/19/17

Entertainment Weekly, 3/19/17 --

Lance Bass helped shape the pop music landscape of the late '90s as part of *NSYNC, and Saturday night, he reunited with another iconic boy band when he joined the Backstreet Boys onstage at their Las Vegas residency, titled Larger Than Life after their 1999 single.

The Backstreet Boys' official Twitter account shared a video that shows Bass hanging out onstage with Nick Carter, A.J. McLean, Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough, and Brian Littrell while they sing 2000's "Shape of My Heart."

The Backstreet Boys kicked off their Vegas residency — which features a slew of singles from the quintet's discography — on March 1. It's scheduled to end on July 1 after 26 total shows.

Though both BSB and *NSYNC once battled for chart dominance, their perceived rivalry — which Carter previously told BuzzFeed was concocted by a bored media — is seemingly far behind them. In April 2016, Bass and fellow *NSYNC alum Joey Fatone belted a live rendition of the Backstreet Boys' hit "I Want It That Way," which reached No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1999.

Mahershala Ali and Justin Timberlake Are Really, Really Grateful for Their Stylists - 3/15/17

W Magazine, 3/15/17 --

The relationship between celebrity and stylist is a very special thing. So, time and again, when the power stylists are being honored, their A-list clients show up in support.

On Tuesday night at The Ponte, the small, month-old Italian spot that took over Beverly Blvd.'s now defunct Terrine, bold names including Justin Timberlake, Jonah Hill, John Legend, Mary J. Blige, Dakota Johnson, Sarah Paulson, Big Sean with Jhené Aiko, Aja Naomi King, James Marsden, Nina Dobrev and Mahershala Ali were out in full force for The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo's annual L.A. dinner honoring Hollywood's top 25 stylists.

"I was looking for someone that really reflected my personal taste but could also easily push me a little bit outside my comfort zone, and she did that," said Ali of stylist Van Van Alonso. The two have been working together for about four months, after meeting on the set of a magazine shoot. It was Alonso who got the coveted gig of dressing the actor for the Academy Awards, where, of course, he received Best Supporting Actor for his role in Moonlight.

Moments before, the actor had been chatting with Timberlake, who was quick to bring up the incident himself.

"How are you after all the befuddle?" had asked the singer.

Timberlake, who spent much of the evening alongside his stylist, Annie Psaltiras, worked the room, sharing news of his upcoming album, which he's been recording in L.A. "It's about 80 percent done," he was heard saying of the anticipated release.

"Hey baby girl," he later exclaimed, hugging Mary J. Blige, who had arrived with stylist Jason Bolden.

"Mary is a friend first," said Bolden. "She's a fashion icon. I still get heart palpitations when I think about doing stuff with her. It's a whole other level, and it's easy, to say the least."

Justin Timberlake Tells Frustrated Fan That New Music is 'On The Way' - 3/9/17

Billboard, 3/9/17 --

Aside from "how do you never age?" and "why are you so good at everything?" one of the most frequent questions Justin Timberlake gets is "when will you release a new album?" After making fans wait nearly seven years for his dual 20/20 Experience two-fer, JT has taken another three years off from the studio and fans are, well, getting a bit impatient.

Sure, he almost won an Oscar for "Can't Stop the Feeling" and opened the show with a killer performance. But where's the new album, JT? Thanks to a persistent fan from Georgia now we know. It all started when Justin tweeted his love for the new Calvin Harris, Migos, Frank Ocean track "Slide," on Wednesday (March 8).

The gesture did not go unnoticed.

And while he was at it, he noted that Ocean's Blonde was the "real" album of the year.

That's when things got interesting. Fan James Ferris tweeted back, "while I'M AT IT, i'm gonna need an album soon because i'm getting tired of letting the 20/20 Experience play. I need some new JT!!"

At which point Justin said the three words everyone has been waiting almost four years to hear: "On the way."

A spokesperson for Timberlake's label could not be reached for comment on when we might hear new music, but, hey, it's a start.
