Why Joey Fatone and Lance Bass are talking about Maytag - 5/10/19

AdAge, 5/1/19 --

"It's gonna be May" is one of spring's favorite memes and Maytag wants in. The appliance brand, which is owned by Whirlpool, has been talking about *NSYNC's May 1 humor for a while, but only took the plunge this year with a campaign that tailors the "It's Gonna Be May" meme to the iconic Maytag man.

"We wanted to go big," says Robert Sundy, senior director of brand marketing at Maytag, noting that in addition to posting its video on Twitter and Instagram, Maytag also partnered with band members Joey Fatone and Lance Bass to promote it on their own social channels. Maytag runs an annual May promotion with rebates on select purchases. The company tapped Ketchum and Digitas for the new work.

Songwriters Hall of Fame to honor Justin Timberlake - 5/8/19

Us Weekly, 5/8/19 --

Justin Timberlake's songwriting chops will be honored next month.

The pop star will receive the Contemporary Icon Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame on June 13 at the organization's 50th annual induction ceremony in New York.

Timberlake is the second person to receive the honor; Lady Gaga earned it in 2015. The Songwriters Hall said the award is given to a "songwriter-artist who has attained an iconic status in pop culture."

Timberlake has co-written all of his solo hit songs, from "Cry Me a River" to "SexyBack" to "Can't Stop the Feeling!" - which earned him an Oscar nomination. He also co-wrote songs for *NSYNC, including "Gone," "Girlfriend" and "Pop."

The 2019 Songwriters Hall class includes Missy Elliott, Cat Stevens, John Prine, Tom T. Hall, Jack Tempchin and Dallas Austin.

At first, the Out of Sync author said that he, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick "pretty much" send the same amount of messages, but there are two guys in particular who are especially active.

"Chris and Joey are the ones that are always trying to find the joke in it," Bass told Us.

Justin Timberlake Hits the Studio With Anderson .Paak - 5/8/19

Billboard, 5/7/19 --

Justin Timberlake and Anderson .Paak put some time in in the studio over the weekend.

Timberlake posted a photo of him cooking up with Cheeky Andy on Monday (May 6), teasing the idea of a possible group name for the duo called "Ballin' Oats." Paak replied in the comments, "COMIN THRU WT THE HARMONIES!"

Paak -- who recently released his Ventura album -- also put up footage from the studio on his Instagram story featuring the pair grooving to some tunes. We still don't know for sure if any of the music they created will be let out of the vault at some point. Either way, fans' mouths are watering at the idea of a potential collaboration. "If they collab, I'll die. Good bye," IG user @JZTNKid wrote.

Lance Bass Dishes on 'It's Gonna Be May,' Ariana Grande and Thrilling New Projects - 5/2/19

The Cheat Sheet, 4/30/19 --

Lance Bass from iconic boyband *NSYNC is a "May" kind of guy. The multi-talented musician and filmmaker prepares himself every April 30 for the blast of "It's Gonna Be May" memes, followed by "*NSYNC-O-De Mayo" celebrations. Not to mention his birthday.

This May also seems like a good time for Bass to reflect and bask in the number of exciting successes he's recently experienced. He's hot off *NSYNC's thrilling appearance with Ariana Grande at Coachella. Plus his film The Boy Band Con: The Lou Pearlman Story, which debuted at South by Southwest in March, is being met with critical acclaim.

Bass chatted with The Cheat Sheet about the huge resurgence *NSYNC is experiencing and what it was like to perform at Coachella, and then spilled a little tea on upcoming projects. He also takes us back to how the groundbreaking "It's Gonna Be May" meme was born.

The meme that keeps on giving
Bass laughs about how "It's Gonna Be May" originated. "When we recorded the song, we worked with Max Martin who we've worked with several times before that," he recalls. "In the studio, Justin [Timberlake] was singing and Max was like, 'What about making it sound more like it's gonna be May?' And it kinda just stuck."

He never knew 20 years later it would be a huge meme, he adds. "Because we didn't know what a meme was at that time," he laughs. Bass says he's seen a few variations including the most noteworthy one of Timberlake. "With his nice curly hair," Bass jokes. "That picture will haunt him forever."

Lance Bass talks 'It's Gonna Be May' memes and *NSYNC reunion rumors - 4/30/19

ABC News, 4/30/19 --

It's April 30 and *NSYNC's Lance Bass know what that means: "It's Gonna Be MAY!"

Bass stopped by "Good Morning America" Tuesday in a Justin Timberlake-inspired wig in honor of memes about the way Timberlake sang "It's Gonna Be Me" circa 2000.

The chorus of the *NSYNC song, which is about trying to get a woman to accept advances, features Timberlake singing the titular line, but the way he pronounces the word "me" sounds more like "may."

YOU ALREADY KNOW.

A post shared by Justin Timberlake (@justintimberlake) on

So, for the past few years, people have been using the song as a meme, sharing images and tweets inspired by the song, as well as the music video, to celebrate the end of April... as in, when it's about to be May.

"It's a meme world I guess these days," Bass told "GMA" of the viral images. "When we recorded that song, there was no social media, so we had no idea this would happen, and it's funny because we never thought of the way Justin pronounced 'May' before until this meme started going around, so hey, it fits."

Bass said he's come across a number of "It's Gonna Be May" memes but on Tuesday, he posted one on Instagram with a dog wearing Ramen noodles on his head.

"I'm so sorry, Justin," Bass said.

Lance Bass talks progress for LGBTQ youth: 'It's a better environment' - 4/30/19

Page Six, 4/30/19 --

Days before his 40th birthday, Lance Bass reflected on how he's grown from boy band heartthrob to LGBTQ activist.

"I'm a completely different person then I was 20 years ago - in a good way for sure," he told Page Six at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of "Gay Chorus Deep South." "I think the older you get, the more conscious you get about what's going on in the world, and how you need to participate."

Bass, who will turn 40 on Saturday, was joined by his husband Michael Turchin at the movie premiere on Monday night. The *NSYNC member - who was fresh off the group's Coachella performance alongside Ariana Grande - also chatted with us about progression in acceptance of LGBTQ youth.

"When I was in high school there was one gay person in my school so it felt very dangerous, it was scary and lonely," he said. "Now, every school has open and out kids, and it's just a better environment to be friends and find your tribe."

Joey Fatone Reveals If *NSYNC Reunion Tour Is in the Works After Coachella Appearance - 4/30/19

PopCulture.com, 4/30/19 --

As four-fifths of *NSYNC took to the stage with headliner Ariana Grande at the 2019 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, fans of the iconic boy band everywhere wondered if a reunion tour was in the future.

Unfortunately, fans might have to wait a while for a full reunion, Joey Fatone told PopCulture.com as part of his partnership with Maytag for their "It's Gonna Be Maytag" promotion.

"We honestly haven't had that conversation, believe it or not!" Fatone said of a full tour with bandmates Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and JC Chasez. "Honestly, with the four of us [that performed alongside Grande] and the five of us [including Timberlake], we haven't gotten together to have that conversation."

That doesn't mean the door is closed for disappointed '90s kids, however, with Fatone teasing, "I'm sure we'll have that conversation."

Until then, *NSYNC fans can re-watch their instantly viral performance with Grande at Coachella, during which Fatone, Chasez, Kirkpatrick and Bass joined the pop queen for a portion of her song "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored," which sampled a portion of *NSYNC's "It Makes Me Ill."

"I've been rehearsing my whole f-ing life for this moment," she said as she invited the pop stars out on stage.

Fatone told PopCulture that having Grande not only reference the deep cut but invite them to perform alongside her at the popular music festival was "very flattering and very honoring."

Lance Bass reveals 'Brady Bunch' house renovation plans if he had winning bid - 4/30/19

Fox News, 4/30/19 --

When the iconic "Brady Bunch" house came on the market last August, Lance Bass wasted no time and put an offer on the TV home, initially earning the winning bid. However, in a turn of events, the former *NSYNC member ultimately lost the iconic property to HGTV.

Looking back at that moment, Bass admitted to Fox News that it was "disappointing."

"That was a house I had been looking at for many years, and I was just waiting for it to come up, so when it did I was super excited to try to grab it," the 39-year-old explained. "We were told we got the house, but then 24 hours later they were like 'Oops. Sorry! We have someone that's come in and outbid you,' which you know didn't seem fair, but at least it was HGTV."

Although his offer didn't secure him the Brady family home - which exterior had appeared on the "Brady Bunch" series between September 1969 and March 1974 - Bass did have plans for the property.

"The last thing that I was going to do was knock it down," Bass revealed. "Ultimately, I want it to be a place that fans can enjoy."

Lance Bass Hopes Lisa Vanderpump 'Will Jump Ship' From 'RHOBH' After 'Stupid' PuppyGate Drama - 4/30/19

Us Weekly, 4/30/19 --

Lisa Vanderpump may not have many shoulders to lean on after The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' PuppyGate drama, but her longtime friend Lance Bass still has her back.

"I think it's a ridiculous, ridiculous story line and fight," the former *NSYNC member, 39, told Us Weekly exclusively at the Gay Chorus Deep South screening during the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on Monday, April 29. "It's just stupid and it bores the hell out of me, so I no longer watch the show and I'm hoping she will jump ship too."

Bass pointed out that Vanderpump, 58, has "been through it" after PuppyGate and the April 2018 death of her brother, Mark. "She's a strong woman, for sure, and she's had a hard year," the singer told Us.

Justin Timberlake Embraces Dad Mode In Rare & Adorable Video With Son Silas - 4/28/19

Access, 4/28/19 --

From Man of the Woods to Man of the...Green? Golf fanatic Justin Timberlake just scored a total hole in one with the ultimate cheering squad!

The music superstar's wife, Jessica Biel, and son Silas were on hand as he hit the links for the Bass Pro Legends of Golf tournament at Top of the Rock in Missouri on Saturday. Jess and their little boy were seen sharing rousing support on the sidelines as Justin nailed his swing with a smile.

Justin and Jessica have been notably private about showing the 4-year-old's face in public over the years, but video shared on the PGA tour's Instagram page gave fans a rare glimpse of the famous family on full display.

The singer proudly carried his son and waved to the crowd while making his way to the next hole, and another clip showed JT giving Silas a cute high-five as the toddler sat on Jess' shoulders.

Justin joined fellow celebs including Mark Wahlberg and Kid Rock for the annual event alongside golf icons Jack Niklaus, Lee Trevino and more. Though the "Mirrors" singer has proven he can hold his own on the course, he happily got a little help from pro partner Gary Player.

The outing marks a welcome breather for JT. He wrapped his massive Man of the Woods Tour earlier this month after more than a year on the road, and his longtime love congratulated him on killing it all 115 times he hit the stage.

"I would say that I'm so proud of you, but that would be the understatement of the century," Jessica said on Instagram, sneaking a quick selfie video while her hubby was in the next room. "...I am in absolute awe of you every night."

The actress is about to get another chance to root for her hubby. Following Saturday's tournament, Justin will take part in the Legends of Golf Celebrity Shootout on Sunday. Proceeds from the entire weekend will honor U.S. military and veterans.

Justin Timberlake, Mark Wahlberg entertain Ozarks golf fans at Top of the Rock - 4/27/19

Springfield News-Leader, 4/27/19 --

Walking down the ramp before teeing off at Top of the Rock on Saturday afternoon, Kid Rock handed off his beer in one hand while holding his cigar in the other.

The "American Badass" was greeted by cheers from fans as he and Larry the Cable Guy joked around before being introduced.

Those who have been to celebrity competitions at Legends of Golf in the past know they need to get to the course early. Introductions are perhaps the best part.

Rock and Larry the Cable Guy were two of the Top of the Rock veterans in attendance on Saturday for the inaugural Legends Competition. The two were joined by the likes of international superstars Justin Timberlake and Mark Wahlberg, along with other notables such as J.P. Morris, Paige Spiranac and Tyler Toney from Dude Perfect.

Celebrities played alongside legendary golf figures such as Lee Trevino, Ben Crenshaw and Gary Player, among others.

While Wahlberg was the biggest attraction in past years, from the sound of the crowd, there appeared to be a new fan favorite when Timberlake entered the first tee box.

Fans screamed for JT - although one yelled "alright, alright, alright," confusing him for Matthew McConaughey, who wasn't in attendance - with security making its way toward overly excited screaming fans.

Some asked Timberlake if sexy was back, referencing his song "SexyBack," while others asked if it was "going to be May?" referencing his days with *NSYNC.

Timberlake, Wahlberg and others will appear at Top of the Rock for the Celebrity Shootout on Sunday. They are scheduled to tee off at 10 a.m.

She showcased her slender figure and fashionista status at the event for the Environmental Media Association at University High School.

She was joined by Lance Bass from *NSYNC, whose new restaurant Rocco's catered the affair. Bass, who is the EMA Executive Board Co-Chair, wore a floral shirt.

The luncheon helped support the EMA School Garden Program, which implements urban school gardens and inspires students to take action on behalf of nature.

AJ McLean Dishes On Possibility Of A BSB/*NSYNC Tour & Admits 'People Would Lose Their Minds' - 4/27/19

HollywoodLife, 4/24/19 --

The prospect of a tour featuring both the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC is a '90s baby's dream! So - will the idea ever come to fruition? HollywoodLife caught up with BSB member AJ McLean, 41, on April 23 on the set of E!'s LADYGANG and he was well aware of how iconic that would be. "Yeah, I mean look, I think because of the fact that, we were both during the exact same era, same management, same label, same producers, everything was ... it was a mirror image of each other. I think fans would eat it up," he told us in a sit-down interview. "I think fans would really appreciate it, because after we did the New Kids On The Block/BSB tour, immediately, it was 'okay, Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC.' I still think the biggest tour in history, would be Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, and *NSYNC. I think that would literally...people would lose their ever living minds."

The boy bander even dreamed up what the details of the massive tour would entail. "I would say that would be a full-on stadium tour," he told us. "But again, I know the Spice Girls [are] going out soon, on their own, which is great. I don't know if *NSYNC would ever go out, without Justin [Timberlake]," he lamented. However, *NSYNC did exactly that when they hit the stage at Coachella 2019 as a guest of Ariana Grande. "I know that they did it with Ariana [at] Coachella, so who knows?"

Backstreet Boys Ask *NSYNC for Tour and Collaboration - 4/27/19

mix957gr.com, 4/21/19 --

Are the Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC going to collaborate?

Backstreet Boy member Nick Carter reached out to *NSYNC on Twitter April 20 to see if they would be interested in touring together or collaborating on a song. He shared a Rolling Stone article on why *NSYNC should tour without member Justin Timberlake along with posing the big question. Carter tweeted, "The world of pop needs this to happen. I'd go and watch them. Hell, maybe one day we could even do an #nsyncbackstreetTour or #nsyncbackstreetsong together #nsync #bringthemback #ourboys #90smusic #nsyncbackstreetboys #BackstreetBoys"

While *NSYNC haven't replied yet, member Joey Fatone did. Fatone said that they have other collabs they have to finish before they can "think of other things."

Does this mean that there is an *NSYNC reunion in the works? What projects is he talking about?

*NSYNC performed with Ariana Grande during her Coachella Weekend 1 performance on Sunday (April 14). The group and Grande performed "break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored" where Grande sampled the group's song "It Makes Me Ill." They also performed *NSYNC's hit "Tearin' Up My Heart."

Is *NSYNC Considering a Comeback As a Quartet? After Coachella, Sources Say 'The Timing is Right' - 4/27/19

Billboard, 4/23/19 --

Following *NSYNC's surprise appearance during Ariana Grande's headlining set at Weekend One of Coachella, could a more substantial reunion -- as a quartet, without Justin Timberlake -- be on the horizon for the best-selling pop group?

The reaction to the April 14 Coachella appearance -- in which JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone joined Grande to perform her hit "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" and their own smash "Tearin' Up My Heart" -- has been so positive that the group and its team is taking a look at a more prolonged return, according to sources with knowledge of the situation.

Although sources add that talks of a comeback have not accelerated in the week following Coachella and that all future plans are still TBD, the surprise appearance -- *NSYNC's first performance without Timberlake since the group broke up in 2002 -- demonstrated that the four other members could rule the stage as a quartet. As the foursome considers a full-blown return without Timberlake, who is highly unlikely to take part in any reunion, Coachella could prove to be a turning point for the group's comeback chances. (Reps for *NSYNC and Timberlake did not respond to requests for comment on this story.)

"There's such a hunger now for great pop, for nostalgia," says one industry source. "It's almost like a warm, comfortable blanket, especially for the generation that grew up with them, who are now moms and dads. The timing is right."

"The four of them would be great," says Brad Wavra, senior vp touring at Live Nation, who served as *NSYNC's promoter throughout their original run in the late 1990s and early 2000s. "There's no denying the talent that Justin has, but the four of them together proved it [at Coachella]: the music sounded great, they looked great, the fan response was awesome and I think that that would be the same all across America."

Joey Fatone Reveals He Teared Up During *NSYNC's Coachella Performance With Ariana Grande - 4/17/19

Entertainment Tonight, 4/17/19 --

Taking the stage during Ariana Grande's set at Coachella on Sunday meant a lot to Joey Fatone.

ET's Tanner Thomason spoke with the *NSYNC member on Wednesday about his appearance with JC Chasez, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick at the music festival last weekend, where he revealed that the moment caused him to get a little emotional.

"It was really cool. I did get a little teary-eyed, I'm not going to lie," he said, noting that he brought along his 18-year-old daughter, Briahna, who has always wanted to go to Coachella. "She was Snapchatting and she was screaming like, 'Go Daddy!'... I was like, 'Oh my god, it's so beautiful.' It was cool to see her see that."

One for the books ! And good times by all !

A post shared by Joey Fatone (@realjoeyfatone) on

The 42-year-old singer, who also shares daughter Kloey with wife Kelly Baldwin, said Briahna really has "a good head on her shoulders. "I was 17 when I started with *NSYNC, and now she's 18 years old. It's bizarre. That means I'm old!" he joked.

*NSYNC, who received Justin Timberlake's blessing to perform with Grande, will not be making another appearance during weekend two of Coachella. "[Grande] always has something up her sleeves, so I'm sure she's going to have more surprises for you guys that weekend, but she just wanted to do it this weekend," Fatone explained. "She'll do other things as well and kind of mix it up."

"But it was a blast," he shared. "I think the best time that I actually had was on the bus ride home. We just got to hang out, just really shoot the crap, hang out and really be fun, have a couple drinks with each other, and we haven't done that in a long time. We actually rode a tour bus back to LA, which was cool."

Justin Timberlake Wraps Man Of the Woods Tour With Global Gross Of $226.3 Million - 4/17/19

Billboard, 4/17/19 --

Exactly 13 months after debuting The Man of the Woods Tour at Toronto's Air Canada Centre, Justin Timberlake closed his fourth solo headline trek on April 13 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn. After the final of 115 shows played, the tour's final earnings amount to $226.3 million from 1,759,812 tickets sold, according to figures reported to Billboard Boxscore.

Timberlake played the tour's first 36 dates in North America, pulling in $83.9 million between March 13 and June 2. He spent last summer in Europe, grossing $40.7 million from 27 performances. The self-proclaimed Man of the Woods then returned stateside to play an additional 52 shows in North America, split between two legs due to vocal cord issues, where he grossed an additional $101.7 million.

Early in the tour, Timberlake notched his highest gross at Chicago's United Center on March 27-28, 2018. His two-night engagement grossed $5.3 million, becoming the highest-grossing North American engagement of his career. While this high-mark is followed by domestic double-headers at T-Mobile Center in Las Vegas ($5.1 million; April 14-15, 2018), and The Forum in Inglewood, Calif. ($4.9 million; April 28-29, 2018), the tour's top engagements by paid attendance lean toward the European leg. Timberlake moved 35,322 tickets over two nights at London's O2 Arena, 34,819 tickets in two nights at Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium, and 34,497 tickets from just one show at the GelreDome in Arnhem, Netherlands. His U.S. dates reached a top tier ticket price ranging from $225 to $280, while the European shows never extended past $174.50 USD per ticket.

The tour's final gross comes just shy of Timberlake's previous trip around the globe, The 20/20 Experience World Tour. Stretching from Nov. 6, 2013 to Jan. 2, 2015, Timberlake grossed $231.8 million, out-grossing his more recent trek by just $5.5 million and 2.4%. His 2013-15 run played 128 dates compared to 115 for The Man of the Woods Tour. On a per-night basis, Timberlake averaged $1.968 million in 2018-19, exceeding the $1.811 million average from the 20/20 Tour. His 2007 FutureSex/LoveShow grossed $127.4 million from 115 shows.

The Man of the Woods Tour supported Timberlake's 2018 album of the same name. Man of the Woods debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart dated Feb. 17, 2018, becoming his fourth No. 1 title on the all-genre ranking.

Nearly 16 years off from his first solo headline show, Timberlake has grossed $636.3 million, combining his $586.3 million as a solo headliner with his portion of co-headline tours with Christina Aguilera (Justified and Stripped Tour; 2003) and Jay-Z (Legends of the Summer Stadium Tour; 2013).

Justin Timberlake: Tiger Woods and I 'Bonded Over' Wanting Our Kids to 'Watch Us at Our Best' - 4/17/19

People, 4/17/19 --

Tiger Woods was just unveiled as one of the individuals on the annual TIME 100 list - and the honor couldn't be more deserved, according to his friend Justin Timberlake.

Woods, 43, secured the coveted green jacket for the fifth time at The Masters Tournament on Sunday, marking his fifth Masters win over the course of his career and first major victory in over a decade.

Writing about the golf legend in his excerpt for the TIME 100, Timberlake recalled a 2018 meeting between the duo when they "spent time together, just the two of us, talking about being fathers." (Woods is dad to son Charlie Axel, 10, and daughter Sam Alexis, 11, while the musician shares 4-year-old son Silas Randall with wife Jessica Biel.)

"We discussed how we want our children to see us and how you balance your dedication to them with competitive drive," Timberlake wrote. "I told him about how my son, who just turned 4, has started to realize what I do."

"We bonded over the fact that we wanted our children to watch us at our best," he continued. "Tiger told me that he hoped his children, who are 11 and 10, would one day see him win a major."

People, 4/15/19 --

You guys killed it last night ??

A post shared by Justin Timberlake (@justintimberlake) on

Sharing a photograph of Lance Bass, JC Chasez, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick cozying up to the 25-year-old pop star backstage, Timberlake sent his congratulations.

"You guys killed it last night," he wrote on Monday, adding a raised hands emoji.

Grande reflected on the collaboration Monday, captioning her Instagram post with a heartfelt message. "I'll be recovering from this moment for the next twenty years tbh. the nicest human beings possible. It can go either way when you meet your childhood heroes and no one has ever been kinder or cooler or sillier or more lovely to be around. ever!" she wrote.

"Also how the f- do y'all still sound and dance exactly like you did when my mom and I followed you around on tour when i was 5? thank you thank you thank you for your time and energy and i love you so much forever," she added.

Days after Grande began dropping hints that the boy band would make an appearance during her set, the group walked out to perform with Grande on her hit song "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored," which samples "It Makes Me Ill," an old *NSYNC song from their 2000 album, No Strings Attached.

"I've been waiting all my motherf-ing life to say this: *NSYNC," Grande said before she and the group performed the 1997 classic, "Tearin' Up My Heart."

"Coachella, this has been a dream of ours, thank you Ariana!" the band added.

*NSYNC's Lance Bass opens up about Lou Pearlman, the conman who defrauded '90s boy bands - 4/15/19

CBC Radio, 4/15/19 --

In the late '90s, *NSYNC was one of the pioneering boy bands that helped define the pop music of that generation. And yet, for all the millions of albums sold in their first three years, its members only received $10,000 for their first pay cheque by the band's manager and producer, Lou Pearlman.

The Boy Band Con: The Lou Pearlman Story is a new documentary produced by former *NSYNC member Lance Bass. The film details Pearlman's role in skyrocketing boy bands like *NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys into stardom - and how he ultimately defrauded them out of millions of dollars.

In his conversation with q's Tom Power, Bass described Pearlman as someone who initially felt like family to the artists he managed. Aside from supporting their musical ventures, he also travelled and partied with them. For some young performers, he was even seen as a surrogate father.

"The good thing about my situation: I had great parents ... I never looked at Lou as this father figure that I needed in my life. But a lot of the artists [did] feel that way," said Bass.

"People that have lost their fathers or just didn't have a great one to look up to, Lou filled that void for them."

Pearlman's true persona slowly unraveled in the following years, especially after the musicians he had cultivated realized how much they were really owed. What followed was a slew of legal battles, revelations of fraud, and eventually, the discovery of a Ponzi scheme that spanned decades.

"He had a wonderful mansion. He had Rolls-Royces and limos ... He'd take you to these lavish dinners and, you know, you'd be thanking him for them. Then in the end, you realize, 'oh my gosh, we're paying for all those dinners.'"

Ariana Grande Might Perform With *NSYNC At Coachella - 4/14/19

Complex, 4/14/19 --

Ariana Grande and *NSYNC are not-so-subtly hinting at the idea that they will be performing together at Coachella.

The boy band's co-lead JC Chasez got the rumor mill turning when he tweeted out a mic check, a tweet that Ariana Grande quoted and seemingly confirmed.

Lance Bass also appears to be involved with the potential reunion, after he tweeted out a typed out vocal run from *NSYNCs "Here We Go."

A collab between the band and Grande isn't entirely out of left field. Grande lifts a section of the boy band's 2000 track "It Makes Me Ill" on her hit "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored."

Grande has no problem borrowing a line or two. She also nabbed an intro from Rodgers & Hammerstein for her track "7 Rings" (and was widely accused of stealing a flow from Soulja Boy and an aesthetic from 2 Chainz). In spite of the massive success of that track, Grande is reaping very little. The songwriting duo behind the musical number "My Favorite Things" are owed 90 percent of the royalties from that track. Still, it clearly hasn't put Grande off of sharing the spotlight, and she might just cede it to *NSYNC on Sunday.

Grande will close out the first weekend of Coachella with a performance on the main stage at 10:30 p.m. PT. You can watch here to see if Grande and *NSYNC come through in the clutch.

First Look: *NSYNC's Lance Bass Blasts Onto 'Single Parents' - 4/14/19

TV Insider, 4/11/19 --

The real Lance Bass may have missed his chance to go to space (he famously tried to join a mission in 2002), but on the May 1 episode of Single Parents, the former *NSYNC member is blasting off.

Bass plays a fictional version of himself and runs an exclusive space camp that Sophie (Marlow Barkley), daughter of doofy Will (Taran Killam), is desperate to attend.

"I feel like I have been playing a parody of myself for 39 years," Bass jokes, so he was undaunted by the hyped-up character.

And even though *NSYNC hasn't had a hit single since 2002 - that would be "Girlfriend," featuring Nelly - Bass's young costars were familiar with his boy band past.

"I was pleasantly surprised that all the kids knew who I was," he says. "I am sure they spent hours the night before taking a crash course on all things Lance Bass."

Jimmy Fallon On His Friendship With Justin Timberlake, "SNL," And Five Years On "The Tonight Show" - 2/15/19

BuzzFeed, 2/15/19 --

It's the five-year anniversary of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon! In honor of the occasion, we sat down with the late night host to pick his brain about all the wonderful things that have gone down on his show in the past half decade.

Do you have code names for celebrity friends?

JF: I don't think so really, no. I know some people do on their phones. I think if anyone ever hacked into my phone they'd just see everyone's name, so [Justin] Timberlake: watch out.

You're stranded on a deserted island with 4 of your past guests. Who would you want besides you?

JF: Who would I want? There are so many good guests that have been on the show! Justin Timberlake cause he's funny and he can sing. Ariana Grande. Demi Lovato's fun. Michelle Obama. I mean, everyone's invited! Everyone that wants to be on a deserted island with me... I mean wow. I'm the answer to someone's "who would you NOT want on a deserted island." I'm on that list.

How did your friendship with Justin Timberlake start?

JF: I met him on Saturday Night Live, he was in *NSYNC, and then I hosted the VMA's and he was going solo for the first time. We were both nervous and we both did well that night.

What is the craziest thing the two of you have done together?

JF: We broke into a house. We thought it was an open house. We wanted to look at it and turns out there's no one there and then one of the doors was open so we just figured, "let's go look in and look at it anyway." So we kinda just broke into a house. If this person ever knew that we crashed their house...

Lisa Vanderpump's Pal Lance Bass Reveals Why She Has So Much Drama On 'RHOBH' - 2/13/19

HollywoodLife, 2/12/19 --

Lance Bass, 39, spilled the tea on how his friend Lisa Vanderpump, 58, is doing, and revealed what he thinks about the drama surrounding her and her reality show, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In an EXCLUSIVE interview with HollywoodLife at the Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Fest announcement, the former *NSYNC member admitted that something big between Lisa and the other cast mates "went down" but he blamed the tough times between them all on a lack of secrets and miscommunication.

"There's definitely something that went down," Lance EXCLUSIVELY told us. "I think when you're in a situation with these ladies and a cast like that, you're always looking for drama and you have to understand that when you're on a reality show your secrets don't stay secrets because everyone sees your confessionals. It's hard to keeps these friendships going after such a long time when there's all of this drama that's been happening, but yeah, something went down."

Although Lisa sometimes tends to be blamed for a lot of the headline-making feuds between her and her castmates, Lance insists it's not her fault. "It one hundred percent was not Lisa's fault at all, and of course, a lot of miscommunication, a lot of people assuming things which was basically the whole storyline of any Housewives show, but I think at this point she was like, 'You know what? Screw it. I don't even need to bother with this," he continued. "Hopefully she'll be able to stay on the show. I told her, 'Look, you've got Vanderpump Rules! Let's just focus on that.'"

When we asked Lance if Lisa's bothered by all the drama, he didn't hesitate to admit that she's been sensitive to it all, especially at a time when she's still dealing with grief over her brother, Mark Vanderpump's, unexpected death in Dec. 2018. "Of course it gets to her," he said. "She's very tenderhearted and I think especially that her brother died this year, she's still getting over that which I don't think you can ever get over. Coupled with that and having to film with a drama on the first day. You know, it's got to hurt. Her brain is in other places because she's still thinking of her brother."

Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills premieres on Feb. 12 on Bravo.

Adam Sandler Begs Fallon to Leave Justin Timberlake for Him in His 'Fallontine' Song - 2/12/19

Esquire, 2/12/19 --

Sometimes you have to swing for the fences when you love someone. With Valentine's Day coming up, follow Adam Sandler's Tonight Show example, and just go for it, damn it. Serenade the one you love. But, you know, take it slow-maybe not in front of a national audience.

Sandler dropped by the Tonight Show on Monday for what just happened to be the show's fifth anniversary. And, as one of Fallon's first, and favorite guests, Sandler did not come unprepared. No, he came equipped with a whole damn song: "My Jimmy Fallontine" to be exact. And it was classic Sandler musical comedy.

After coming on to promote the vinyl release of his stand up special, he told as story about walking in on Chris Farley crying to KC and the Sunshine Band (different blog for a different day). But the real treat was "Fallontine," where Sandler congratulated Fallon on his first five years before begging that he dump Justin Timberlake for him. You know, true love gestures. Joey Fatone's Advice To BTS Will Tear Up Your Heart If You're A '90s Kid - 2/12/19

Elite Daily, 2/12/19 --

If you told 10-year-old me that she would one day interview Lance Bass and Joey Fatone from *NSYNC in the same month, I would've gotten mad at you for being a dirty liar. But here we are, 15 years later and that's exactly what happened. Color this still-loyal *NSYNC stan pleased. And the *NSYNC secrets from Joey Fatone I learned through this experience? Don't even get me started. It makes me very, very emotional. But what made me even more emotional was Joey Fatone's advice to BTS, because it really sheds light on why so many beloved '90s boy bands couldn't stand the test of time.

Fatone has been popping up on Twitter a lot lately thanks to TV's newest addictive competition series, The Masked Singer. Fans are convinced Fatone is the rabbit on the show, based on the sound of the rabbit's singing voice, the clues the character has given, and the rabbit's body language while performing. While Fatone ensures me he's not the rabbit (I'll believe that when I see it), it's easy to see how fans of the show are convinced the rabbit used to be a member of a boy band. The rabbit is so confident on stage - both vocally and physically - so it's believable that if the rabbit isn't Fatone, it's maybe a member of a former '90s boy band.

*NSYNC and Backstreet Boys were the defining boy bands of the '90s. Both groups reached global fame the likes of which weren't seen again until One Direction shot to stardom. Now, with One Direction long over, the popular boy band of the moment is the K-Pop sensation BTS. When asked about the group, Fatone responds with some advice from one iconic boy band to another about how to give your group staying power. And it's going to make all of you *NSYNC fans out there pretty damn emotional.

"The advice is stay together," he says. "Keep going, and know that there's other projects that you can definitely do, but if you ever do that, separate, take a break, and then come back."

Justin Timberlake cancels both Tacoma Dome concerts, will not reschedule - 2/11/19

The Seattle Times, 2/11/19 --

Update 11 a.m. Feb. 11:

Apparently, it just wasn't meant to be. Thanks to our impromptu winter wonderland, Justin Timberlake has canceled his Monday, Feb. 11 concert, as well as his previously postponed Sunday, Feb. 10 concert.

The dates will not be rescheduled and refunds are available at point of purchase, according to Live Nation.

From earlier:

It's entirely possible that a higher power does not want Justin Timberlake to perform in Tacoma.

The prince of pop's first of two previously rescheduled Tacoma Dome shows has been postponed again as the Puget Sound region continues to deal with heavy snowfall. Live Nation announced that Timberlake's Sunday, Feb. 10 concert will not take place in light of the severe weather. The concert promoter advises fans to hold on to their tickets as they "hope to announce rescheduling information" sometime next week.

As of Saturday night, the Monday, Feb. 11 show is still on, though ticket holders should watch the Tacoma Dome website and Live Nation social media accounts - not to mention our running list of weather-canceled events - for updates. Fans who purchased tickets through Ticketmaster will also be notified of any changes via email.

Saturday's Bob Seger concert at the Tacoma Dome was canceled earlier this afternoon.

Timberlake's shows were already make-up dates, after his local Man of the Woods tour stops, originally scheduled for last fall, were rescheduled due to vocal cord issues.

Ariana Grande Is Heading Back to Number One and She's Bringing *NSYNC With Her - 2/9/19

Rolling Stone, 2/8/19 --

Ariana Grande's Thank U, Next album is all but guaranteed to debut at Number One. When it does, it will be another in a long string of commercial slam-dunks for Grande.

More surprising, the album's success also represents a return to the charts for *NSYNC and Wendy Rene. That's because "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" interpolates a verse from *NSYNC's jittery "It Makes Me Ill," while "Fake Smile" borrows from Rene's "After Laughter (Comes Tears)," a Sixties soul record that has been far more successful as a sample source than it ever was on its own.

Grande is not the only one doing this sort of savvy musical recycling: Pop and rock acts appear to be both sampling and interpolating - soldering a previously-used lyric or melody onto a new track - more frequently. "I hear a lot of interpolating on pop radio today … it's more in your face," said Joe Khajadourian, from production duo the Futuristics, in an interview last year.

There's a simple explanation for this: the commercial surge of hip-hop and R&B. Those genres have been comfortable sampling for decades - rap pioneered the practice in the mainstream - and they are doing enviable numbers on your streaming platform of choice. Pop stars are following suit. "With hip-hop becoming the dominant musical form, pop music is reflecting that," Jeff Vaughn, VP of A&R at Artist Partners Group, told Rolling Stone.

Grande also has her own personal history with in-your-face samples. On her debut album, Yours Truly, she was consciously channeling Nineties R&B with help from legends like Babyface. She built "Lovin' It" around a riff from Mary J. Blige's "Real Love," while "The Way" used the same Brenda Russell sample as Big Pun's hit "I'm Not a Player" to great effect. On the My Everything track "Break Your Heart Right Back," she borrowed Diana Ross' "I'm Coming Out" by way of Notorious B.I.G.'s "Mo Money Mo Problems." (This one was produced by the R&B aces Pop & Oak.)

Joey Fatone's Crusade Against Super Bowl Double Dipping - 2/2/19

The Daily Beast, 2/2/19 --

Nearly 20 years ago, singer Joey Fatone was getting ready for arguably the biggest show of his music career when his band *NSYNC performed during the halftime show at Super Bowl XXXV in Tampa. The group shared the stage with a constellation of pop sensations, including Mary J. Blige, Britney Spears and Aerosmith.

Today, his concerns are a lot more pedestrian: the double dipping of chips.

While, it sounds like he's doing a George Costanza bit from Seinfeld, he's actually serious about this Super Bowl party foul. As the father of two, he is particular troubled by children who keep going back to the dip bowl between plays. Kids "like to double dip and I don't like that," he says. "About 45-percent of people are disgusted by double dipping. I'm one of them." So, what's the big deal about it? It's "just because you don't know if your kid has boogers in his hand and decides to dip it."

To be fair, Fatone may take snacking and tailgating a bit more serious than most. "Love chips. Love dips," he says. (In particular, French onion dip with a Lay's Potato Chip or jalapeño cheddar dip with a soft pretzel.) For the Super Bowl this year, he even paired up with snack producer Heluva Good! to promote a kind of lazy Susan/dip dispenser contraption that prevents a guest from trying to go back for a second helping. A few years ago, he also started the upscale hot dog company, Fat One's, in Orlando, which currently has a food truck. "I came up with the idea," he says. "We came up with the name. We did the tasting. We came up with the different flavors."

In addition, he's a huge Super Bowl fan. For ten straight years, he actually attended the game in person. After performing during halftime, "I got hooked on watching the live game," he says. However, he now admits, "it's kind of nice to have your own party in your own house."

How Well Does Joey Fatone Know *NSYNC? We Put Him to the Test With the Ultimate Trivia - 2/1/19

Life & Style, 2/1/19 --

Were you an *NSYNC fan? Please, we already know you were, but we wonder if you could answer any of these hard-hitting trivia questions about the group. You just might do a better job than former member Joey Fatone, who sat down exclusively with Life & Style to chat about his new show Common Knowledge and answer some q's about his time with one of the world's best boybands. Watch the video above to see how Joey did with our trivia questions and don't forget to subscribe to our YouTube Channel!

When the 42-year-old singer got started on his 'trivial pursuit,' he lead us all to believe he was going to knock the whole thing out of the park. When the first question was asked ("What is the most memed *NSYNC song?"), he answered in a flash of lightning ("It's Gonna Be Me").

He really had us thinking he was going to dominate this game. Joey barely even hesitated with the first handful of questions. He even came through and hit us with some juicier info when asked "What song did JC Chasez hump the floor to during *NSYNC's concerts?" Thank you very much, sir, for confirming to the world that the song was, in fact, "Digital Get Down," for anyone who never got the chance to see the group live.

But then the dad-of-two started to falter when it came to questions involving record sales and other numerical figures. He admitted he's not particularly good with "number things," but it's pretty adorable to see him give it an honest try. He even had a difficult time remembering which singles dropped off the No Strings Attached album, y'all. But as he said in the vid, "This was 20 years ago, people!"

Despite ramping up to a good game, Joey does fall a little bit flat at one point. He probably didn't do exactly as well as he hoped, but you win some and lose some in this life. Between the hilarious screw-ups and the really insightful tidbits, this dude totally gave us some boyband gold. So, we'd call that one a win.

Joey Fatone Reads Texts From His Group Chat With *NSYNC and Now We're Deceased - 1/31/19

Life & Style, 1/31/19 --

OMG, we are living for this *NSYNC tea right now. Even though the band hasn't been together for quite some time, Joey Fatone revealed exclusively to Life & Style that the boy band still keeps in touch with a group chat. Watch the video.

Of course, everyone wants to know what the men talk about these days. "I don't think it's going to say much," the Common Knowledge host, 42, confessed to us. "Happy New Year, gents. Enjoy!" one text read. Another said, "Hey, JC, you in Florida? If you're here, we will grab a few days - let's go out." Chris Kirkpatrick chimed in and said, "Happy New Year" with a heart. It sounds like this friendship is still strong as ever.

So, can we expect a reunion in the future? "I say, never say never," the Brooklyn native spilled. But don't get too excited just yet. "It's one of those things where, I think it's never really been approached to us. It really hasn't. Everyone has their own lives and own things. I am doing Common Knowledge, Justin Timberlake is on tour, Chris is being a dad, JC Chasez is writing and producing music and Lance Bass has a new drink or something like that and has a radio show. Right now, it's not even a thought." This is not the news that we were hoping for, but we are still thinking that there could be an opportunity down the line.

The five members reunited in April 2018 when they were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and fans were stoked to see them back together. Even Joey couldn't even believe how loyal their followers have been over the years.

"So many people came to see [us] and I was shocked," he said. "It's just weird to me. It's amazing there is still love out there, and we haven't put anything out there, nor have we really been together and performing - it's crazy. So, thank you to all the fans that do do that, I appreciate it."

Joey Fatone has his own Super Bowl memories - 1/31/19

metro.us, 1/31/19 --

Joey Fatone can always say he played in a Super Bowl with a Boston icon - whose name wasn't Tom Brady.

Nineteen years ago, Fatone and his *NSYNC bandmates, rulers of the '90s pop charts, sprinted across Tampa's Raymond James Stadium to kick off Super Bowl XXXIV's halftime show, an event that also featured rock royalty Aerosmith along with Mary J Blige, Britney Spears, and Nelly.

Besides performing "Bye Bye Bye," the Brooklyn-born Fatone watched his beloved Giants get crushed by the Baltimore Ravens, 34-7. "I watched them drown," Fatone remembers. It would be the following year in 2002, however, when No. 12 and the Pats upset the St. Louis Rams, 20-17 and began what has become a nearly two-decade dynasty run which will continue Sunday in Super Bowl LIII when the Pats face the Rams once again.

Nearly two decades later, Brady is gunning for his sixth Super Bowl ring, while Fatone, now a graying 43, isn't as confident he could replicate his Super Bowl stage dash. "I'd need an oxygen tank now," he admits. These days Fatone only dashes are to wardrobe to change suits as host of Game Show Network's "Common Knowledge." Fatone says the show, in which contestants are asked everyday questions everyone should know, wrapped up filming 65 episodes in a grueling but fun three weeks.

"I now know how Pat Sajak and Alex Trebek feel," Fatone laughs.

Denying rumors he's the "the Rabbit" on Fox's "The Masked Singer" ("It's not me," he swears), Fatone also keeps busy dispensing Super Bowl party tips as Helluva Good! pitch man. A foodie himself and owner of a start-up Orlando, Florida, hot dog cart franchise - named Fat One's - Fatone says the doctors of chip dip's newest party contraption, No Double Dip-Spinner, a motion-detector operated dip dispenser that partiers can choose from three preset dip amount of dip (Fatone's a French onion dip fan, he says) to spread on all your gameday indulgences is this year's big game party must-have.

"It's actually a good thing, especially if you have kids," Joey Fatone says. "I do, and you never know where their grubby little hands have been, and with the double-dippin and the drool, I don't need that."

Joey Fatone on football, Super Bowl LIII & working with Heluva Good! - 1/30/19

sportskeeda, 1/30/19 --

Specializing in cheeses, dips and condiments for nearly a century, Heluva Good! is an American company founded by Perry Messinger in 1925. Heluva Good! has been synonymous with sports, notably sponsoring NASCAR events in recent years.

This year, Heluva Good! has unveiled the No Double Dip-Spinner. The Dip-Spinner is outfitted with a motion detector to dispense the perfect amount of dip for any party snack at the wave of a potato chip, wing, veggies, or other dippables.

Does the No Double Dip-Spinner have a celebrity endorsement, you ask? Indeed it does, and that is Joey Fatone, who himself was part of Super Bowl XXXV's half-time show alongside Aerosmith, Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Nelly and his *NSYNC bandmates.

Noted Fatone about Heluva Good! and the big game itself: "A football game doesn't feel complete to me if I'm not enjoying a hot dog. For the big game, I like to load it up with chilli, onions, cheese and crushed potato chips. And to top it all off, I use Heluva Good! French Onion Dip as the perfect rich and creamy condiment for the ultimate messy and indulgent game day snack."

While the No Double Dip-Spinner is not widely available, Heluva Good! will be giving away fun Game Day surprises to select followers via Instagram who share their own double dip woes with @heluvagooddips.

Local Woman Gets Surprise Of A Lifetime, Meets Justin Timberlake - 1/30/19

News 9, 1/29/19 --

One local woman got to experience the surprise of a lifetime after News 9 highlighted her story of survival. Brandy Haygood was in a horrible roll over accident just over 10 months ago. After suffering severe injuries and experiencing a stroke during surgery, Haygood wasn't waking up.

Her family tried talking to her and saying anything they thought would motivate Haygood to open her eyes. The family said Haygood's mom started telling her they would take trips or do activities she had been wanting to do. Eventually going to Justin Timberlake's concert was brought up, and her family said that's when Haygood opened her eyes. They claim that was the turning point.

Fast forward to Jan. 26 of this year, Haygood is walking and almost fully recovered. She and a few members of her family were preparing to finally attend Timberlake's concert in Oklahoma City. That's when one of Timberlake's friends contacted her on Instagram the day of the concert. He helped Haygood connect with Timberlake's team. Haygood was gifted the VIP treatment, complete with a personal meet and greet with JT himself.

"Right before he went on, I got to go back," said Haygood. "He was walking toward me, and I just started crying."

Haygood said Justin was blown away by her story.

"He was like your story's amazing," said Haygood. "I'm so thankful to god that your alive."

Over 16,000 people attended Timberlake's sold-out show along with Haygood. The concert broke the record for highest grossing show in Chesapeake Energy Arena and Oklahoma City's history.

Justin Timberlake Whisper-Sings "Happy Birthday" to Himself While Jessica Biel Sleeps - 1/30/19

Popsugar, 1/30/19 --

Looks like Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are going all out for his 38th birthday.

The Man of the Woods singer enters the second-to-last year of his 30s on Jan. 31, but since he has to work, he and Jessica planned to go out the night before instead. But before the party even got started on Wednesday night, Jessica dozed off in the car, and Justin hilariously recorded himself singing "Happy Birthday" to himself in a whisper. After waking up, Jessica laughed and said, "I'm just preparing for our big night out." Partying as adults - and especially as parents - is an ongoing struggle. Try not to go too wild, Justin!

Justin Timberlake on the Nostalgic Pop Thrills of His 'Man of the Woods' Tour - 1/29/19

Rolling Stone, 1/29/19 --

Justin Timberlake's Man of the Woods tour has not gone as planned. Last fall, the singer had to cancel multiple rounds of arena dates due to severely bruised vocal cords, a setback that left the singer devastated. "I've never encountered anything like this," Timberlake told Rolling Stone in an e-mail interview during that hiatus. "I hate to disappoint everyone who spends their hard-earned money to come see me. So, even though it is out of my control, it is still pretty frustrating. Being on stage is truly one of my favorite things to do."

After months off the road, Timberlake returned to the stage January 4th in Washington, D.C., his smooth tenor intact as he danced hard through a marathon of hits on an innovative stage that slopes through the arena floor. At various times in the 21-song set, the stage morphs into a campfire, a river, a laser cage and a disco floor. Timberlake says it's changed the way he looks at performing.

"I'm always trying to find ways to create a unique experience for my fans and myself," he says. "I feel like this show with the stage and production I was able to design has really put me down in the middle of the crowds and makes for a really connective and immersive couple of hours. Particularly, one part of the show where I actually come down to a part of the floor and really get close to everyone. It's a little nostalgic for me, too, because it reminds me when clubs were actually clubs in L.A. and people went out to dance and feel that energy. In all seriousness, it is one thing to stand on stage and say, 'I see you down there singing and dancing your hearts out,' but it's a whole other vibe to get down there with them and do it too!"

Timberlake's pre-show routine begins early in the day and lasts right up until showtime. "I treat it a lot like an athlete would, because it's a very physical show and I ain't getting any younger," adds the singer, 37. "Right before we hit the stage, I circle up with my band and dancers, we say a prayer and then I'll make up a chant that's specific to the city, state or country that we're in. It's just something fun for us to get amped up with together."

Timberlake's tour hits New York's Madison Square Garden this Thursday, and runs through April.

Justin Timberlake sets record for highest-grossing show in Oklahoma City history - 1/29/19

ktul.com, 1/29/19 --

Justin Timberlake's "Man of the Woods" Tour stop at Chesapeake Energy Arena made history on Saturday Jan. 26.

The Grammy-award winning artist set a new record for the highest grossing show in both Chesapeake Energy Arena's and Oklahoma City's history, according to a release.

More than 16,000 people attended the concert, which is a part of a 117-date tour that spans 78 cities in 13 different countries throughout North America and Europe.

"The caliber of talent coming to Chesapeake Arena in 2019 is second-to-none, and successes like the Justin Timberlake concert help ensure that world class performers continue to visit OKC," said Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt in a release. "We feel the benefits as music fans, of course, but also through the economic activity our community enjoys when people travel from around the region to see these shows. I'm excited for the rest of the 2019 lineup and to see what future announcements are yet to come."

Exact figures for the record were not disclosed by Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Joey Fatone's Super Bowl Traditions and Thoughts on the Patriots - 1/29/19

AskMen, 1/28/19 --

Joey Fatone knows how to do the Super Bowl. In 2001, he performed during the Halftime Show with *NSYNC, alongside Britney Spears, Aerosmith, Nelly and Mary J. Blige. The Baltimore Ravens beat the New York Giants that year 34 to 7, and this year, it'll be the New England Patriots vs. the Los Angeles Rams at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. But the former boy bander isn't that thrilled about the matchup.

"How many times the Patriots have gone to the Super Bowl?!" he exclaims to AskMen. (This will be the team's 11th trip.) "Now it's getting annoying."

Even so, Fatone is a huge fan of football's biggest game. He attended each Super Bowl for 10 years after he performed, and now he throws an epic party for his friends and family.

"I went every year. I loved it. After we did the first year, when we performed, I was hooked," Fatone explains to AskMen, admitting that he's biased that his was the best halftime performance. (Sorry, Justin Timberlake!) "But, of course, everything takes its toll: You have kids, you can't bring everybody to the Super Bowl all the time, and tickets are very expensive!"

"Now my tradition is throwing the big game party," he says. "I will get a bunch of people a lot of the time, maybe at my house or sometimes my buddy's house, and everybody comes over, and everybody brings certain things and stuff; it's great. I think this year I'm probably going to be home with a bunch of my family and friends."

Naturally, one of the most important parts of throwing a killer party for the biggest sporting event of the year is the menu, and the 42-year-old dad of two daughters has it down. He makes sure to have plenty of chicken wings and all the dip you could dream of (his favorite is Heluva Good!'s French Onion Dip), but one rule at the Fatone house? Absolutely no double dipping.

Is Joey Fatone The Rabbit On 'The Masked Singer'? He Weighs In On The Rumors - 1/26/19

elitedaily.com, 1/25/19 --

Joey Fatone was always the most joyous member of *NSYNC. His big personality made him the most fun to watch during performances and interviews. Any *NSYNC stan (me) knows he's hella recognizable thanks to how his personality reflects in his physicality, so it's no surprise that fans of FOX's new singing competition show, The Masked Singer, are convinced he's one of the celebrities behind the masks. Fans of the show are dying to know: Is Joey Fatone the rabbit on The Masked Singer? He claims he isn't, but this *NSYNC stan is finding that pretty hard to believe for a number of reasons.

The Masked Singer is an American iteration of a South Korean show, King of Mask Singer. The U.S. version is the latest among the list of countries with its own version of the show, and fans are already inexplicably obsessed with the competition series.

The premise is this: Celebrities don the personas of different animals/creatures and compete with their own covers of pop hits. The mystery behind it all is that each contestant's identity is completely concealed by the costumes they wear. There's a bee, a monster, a unicorn, a rabbit, a lion, a peacock, and other characters that are all vying for the top spot on the show (hosted by Nick Cannon and judged by Jenny McCarthy, Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, and Nicole Scherzinger). But fans don't learn the identity of each contestant until the moment they're eliminated from the competition. It is... oddly addictive to watch.

Fans are pretty convinced that the rabbit is either Joey Fatone or his *NSYNC band member J.C. Chasez. Fatone tells me over the phone that the fan theories are incorrect.

"It's crazy that Twitter was blowing up. It's not me," he says. "On top of that it's pretty funny now they're leading it that way, whatever the case may be." Fatone's biggest defense against the theories that he's the rabbit is basically, how could he be a contestant on the show when he's vying to be a judge?

Justin Timberlake Shares First Take of 'Say Something' Video On One Year Anniversary - 1/26/19

Billboard, 1/25/19 --

One year ago Friday (Jan. 25), Justin Timberlake and Chris Stapleton unveiled their epic "Say Something" video, filmed in one continuous shot in Los Angeles' ornate Bradbury Building.

On the clip's anniversary, Timberlake dropped first take of the music video, featuring the same intricate filming through elevators, stairways and culminating to an atrium full of singers. You would never know that the six-minute is the first try, because it's just that good.

Check out the first take and re-watch the final product below.

Watch Joey Fatone Look Back on *NSYNC's 'Absolutely Ridiculous' Fashion Choices - 1/26/19

Us Weekly, 1/25/19 --

Joey Fatone took some serious style risks in his early *NSYNC days ... and Us Weekly thought it was high time for the former boy-bander to face the music and say "Bye Bye Bye" to his most epic fashion fails. Watch the exclusive video above to see the current host of Common Knowledge, 41, travel 20 years back and reflect on overalls, pleather and Justin Timberlake's and Britney Spears matching denim outfits!

"Denim on denim was popular back then, don't shoot me," Fatone laughed, looking back at a his look for the 2001 American Music Awards. Though he thought he was able to pull off the Canadian tuxedo, he couldn't say the same for Timberlake and Spears' infamous denim-on-denim look from that same night.

"That's horrible. That was like a whole denim cowboy," he said about the former couple's red carpet outfits. "At least I was just wearing a denim jacket with jeans, not a denim suit and a denim gown!"

Sleeveless vests though? No problem. "That's a handsome devil," the game show host reminisced about a portrait session he did in 1999. "That's when I had my red hair and I loved Superman. Sleeveless vests were in!"

From Timberlake's frosted tips to Fatone's ever-changing hair color, the boy-banders also took some hair-raising risks: "The pineapple head of Chris Kirkpatrick was amazing. I know, people ask me why I did the red hair, but I just dyed it. I didn't put extensions to look like a pineapple."

For more laughs with Fatone, watch the video [here] and catch him on Game Show Network's Common Knowledge' weeknights at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Lance Bass and Michael Turchin Are Trying to Have Twins Via Surrogate: Has Justin Timberlake Shared Advice? - 1/24/19

Us Weekly, 1/24/19 --

2019 is going to be a big year for Lance Bass and Michael Turchin! The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, are trying for twins via surrogate.

"We're already on donor No. 7 right now, so I think we broke a record with how many donors we've gone through," Bass, 39, exclusively revealed to Us at the 24th annual LA Art Show Opening Night Gala to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. "But it's looking like this next one is actually going to work."

The former *NSYNC member and his actor husband, 32, have had names picked out for years, but this will be their first experience with fatherhood. So has the Out of Sync author gone to his former bandmate Justin Timberlake for parenting tips?

While Bass said he hasn't asked for advice yet, that may change when he and Turchin go from surrogacy to full-on fatherhood. "Once we have them, I'm sure all the guys [from *NSYNC] with their babies will come out and give us as much hints as they can to be a better dad," he told Us.

And as for Timberlake's parenting style, "He's just a loving dad. A lot of the dads get a lot of flak for not showing up in kids' lives, always being gone, always being the one that works too much, and with Justin's schedule the way it is, he's still an incredible father," Bass raved. "He's a present father. And that's hard to do."

The former pop star and his husband are hoping to welcome a baby boy and girl this year, since Turchin is a fraternal twin himself. But since their current donor is the seventh one they've tried, Bass admitted, "We're being cautious."

Lance Bass and Michael Turchin at the LA Art Show - 1/24/19

Variety, 1/24/19 --

As the 24th annual LA Art Show opened its doors in Los Angeles Wednesday night, Kate Beckinsale, Gavin Rossdale, and more were there to kick things off with a star-studded opening night gala at the Los Angeles Convention Center that benefited St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Perrey Reeves, Ashley Tisdale, and more soon strolled into the area, and Lance Bass took photos with fans after chatting with friends with husband Michael Turchin. "This is a great date night," Bass told Variety. "When you mix art and food and music, it's the best. It brings out everyone. Everyone loves one of those three things."

"Kate Beckinsale is one of our best friends, so we wanted to come out and support her and [St. Jude's] Fisher Pence also, and my husband is an artist," the *NSYNC star said, flashing a smile.

Bass and Beckinsale also discussed their love for art, with Beckinsale gushing about her daughter, Lily Sheen's, talent. "I used to draw quite a bit, but my daughter paints," she said. "She does a lot of abstract stuff. She's into acrylics...she's really good."

Meanwhile, Bass and Dr. Drew dished on the most expensive piece of artwork they ever purchased, with Dr. Drew saying it was "$1,500 for a Plein air painting of a poppy field," and Bass saying he dropped "a few thousand" when he was 19 on an Al Hoag painting of a beach with a little hut he dreamed of living in.

The countdown to Ariana Grande's next album drop is officially on. Thank U, Next is due out February 8th-mere months after her last album, Sweetener. And fans now know that one song, entitled "Break Up With Your Girlfriend. I'm Bored." reportedly samples an *NSYNC song.

However, days earlier, on January 13th, Twitter account spillaristea broke the news that Grande had recently registered two new songs, one of which samples "[It] Makes Me Ill" from the boy band's No Strings Attached. The account also revealed that Grande registered a song called "Fake Smiles," which samples "After Laughing Comes Tears" by '60s songstress Wendy Rene. Why 'Masked Singer' Rabbit Could Be *NSYNC's JC Chasez - 1/22/19

popculture.com, 1/22/19 --

Fans of The Masked Singer have been fervently guessing at the mysterious celebrities singing behind their head-to-toe costumes ever since the new FOX singing competition debuted nearly a month ago.

One of those stars who has caused quite a ruckus on social media is the rabbit, whose identity has been a popular subject of debate. From the clues the rabbit gave about himself in the first episode, it was evident that he was once in a boy band, which led many to believe, initially anyway, that the man beneath the mask was Joey Fatone, a former member of *NSYNC.

The judges even guessed Fatone's name at one point, although judge Jenny McCarthy dismissed it by saying she's "friends" with Fatone and that the rabbit's "gut" wasn't big enough to be him.

The theory eventually began to lose steam after Fatone repeatedly insisted that he was not the rabbit. In addition to his playful denials via social media, which many fans could have dismissed as bluffing, the Dancing With the Stars alum went a step further, telling Page Six that "I... am not in that show. I'm not the platypus or bunny or unicorn or whatever the hell you call it."

He also said that he had never even heard of the new reality show before his Twitter mentions started "blowing up" with fans asking if he was the rabbit.

With Fatone out of the running, fans now have a second, even better theory on who the rabbit could be: none other than Fatone's former bandmate, JC Chasez.

The clues surrounding the debacle seem to fit like a glove - or should we say straightjacket - for Chasez, who has remained mum on social media amid the show. Fans arguing for Chasez will quickly point out that physically, Chasez is relatively tall, like the rabbit. Not only that, but several of the clues the rabbit gave as to his identity work: He spent most of his life on stage, but was "never alone" - hence the boy band train of thought.

Justin Timberlake gives Santa Fe shooting victim VIP tickets for Houston show - 1/22/19

khou.com, 1/22/19 --

Last May, Justin Timberlake paid a special visit to a surviving victim of the Santa Fe High School shooting.

Sarah Salazar's shoulder was shattered and she suffered from several rib fractures from the shooting last Friday, according to an online fundraiser organized in the wake of the mass shooting, which killed 10 people and injured 13 others.

Timberlake visited Sarah when she was still in the hospital and brought a gift - as well as a promise: free VIP tickets to his next show in Houston.

Well of course Timberlake delivered. Salazar's mom tells KHOU 11 that "Man of the Woods" is a man of his word. Sarah and her sister will attend Tuesday night's show at the Toyota Center, courtesy of JT.

This isn't Timberlake's only kind gesture in Texas this week. He also visited children at a hospital in the San Antonio area before his concert there.

In 2018, both Watt and Timberlake were among several celebrities to show support for the victims. Watt offered to pay for funeral expenses and has also visited Santa Fe shooting survivors.

Timberlake also donned a "Santa Fe Strong" shirt at his 2018 concert in Houston. The shirt was made by Santa Fe business owners.

E! Online, 1/19/19 --

All around the world, people were out in full force attending the 2019 Women's March.

From Los Angeles to Berlin and Washington, D.C. to London, thousands upon thousands of people descended upon state capitals and cities both big and small to protest. Like years prior, many celebrities were in attendance at marches across the country. This year, Sarah Hyland, Lance Bass, Laverne Cox and others spoke in L.A. while Dancing With the Stars alum Evanna Lynch made a showing in London.

Cox shared an excerpt from her speech on social media when she posted photos from the event. "The achieving of basic human rights, dignity, justice or equity for one group of people does not mean that something is being taken from another group," she wrote. "That's scarcity thinking and scarcity thinking will always drive us further from each other."

Bass also posted on social media and said the Women's March in Los Angeles "did not disappoint!"

Joey Fatone dishes on possibility of *NSYNC reunion - 1/18/19

fox5ny.com, 1/17/19 --

Former *NSYNC singer Joey Fatone says fans should not expect a reunion by the popular 90s boy band.

"Not anytime soon," Fatone said in an interview on Good Day New York on Thursday. "We've never actually sat down and said, 'Do we want to do this?'."

The band went on a "temporary hiatus" in 2002 but has never reformed since then.

"I think I can only speak for myself, if it ain't broke, don't fix it," Fatone said. "Meaning, we never really broke up in the sense where it was a bad falling out."

There have been rumors that Justin Timberlake, who has become a top selling solo artist, is the one who has rejected the idea.

What about the other four reuniting?

"A lot of pepole have talked about that," Fatone says. "It's a possibility, something the other guys would have to talk about."

Fatone says the five remain friends and converse about many things but have not discussed a new album or tour. He says that would be a big committment.

"Everybody's doing their thing," Fatone says. "When we were still on tour I had my first kid. My kid is graduationg high school this year."

While a reunion does not look to be in the cards anytime soon, Fatone says, "I would never say never."

*NSYNC's Cover Of 'Pokemon' Rap Resurfaces, Thanks To Twitter - 1/18/19

ET Canada, 1/17/19 --

Do you remember that time *NSYNC tore through the "Pokemon" rap? Because these Twitter users sure do.

The internet has a magical gift for resurfacing old but hilarious content seemingly at random. Such is the case when blogger and podcaster Dinosaur Dracula reminded folks of *NSYNC's cover of the "PokeRap" in 1999.

"Nothing says '1999' quite like *NSYNC covering the PokeRap," he captioned a 20-second clip from the original Kids WB network commercial.

Dracula's tweet has been liked more than 24,000 times and retweeted more than 9,000 as of its publication two days ago.

The hilarious video features the entire *NSYNC gang - Justin Timberlake included - wearing more leather than there are cows on Earth. The cheesy '90s backdrops and graphics are bountiful as the group spits sick Poke-bars.

Joey Fatone Insists He's Not the Rabbit on 'The Masked Singer' - 1/14/19

Us Weekly, 1/14/19 --

During the second episode of The Masked Singer, fans - Us Weekly staffers included - made their guesses about which celebs were behind each mask. For the singer dressed up as the rabbit, our best guess was *NSYNC's Joey Fatone.

The singer, 41, has been pretty busy promoting his upcoming game show, Common Knowledge, and claims he doesn't have time to do the Fox reality series.

"I'm here to set the record straight, people! My twitter was blowing up beyond belief," he told Us Weekly exclusively on Monday, January 14, adding he hadn't watched The Masked Singer until fans started tweeting clips at him of the rabbit, assuming it was him. "It's really funny! I'm not the rabbit. I wanted to be a judge! Why wasn't I called?"

He also commented on fans who thought the rabbit could be Donnie Wahlberg, whose wife, Jenny McCarthy, is a judge on the show. "It would be amazing if that happened," Fatone told Us of the New Kids on the Block singer.

During the show, the judges and audience are given multiple clues that tease the identity of each singer. For the rabbit, the video teaser was carnival themed - as was Fatone's 2004 wedding; he revealed he was in a band and stated it's "gonna be me," just like hit *NSYNC song; and he said he "pops up everywhere." In 2018, *NSYNC opened a "Dirty Pop-Up" shop.

However, one clue that threw many off? The rabbit said he had performed in a mask before, making some think it could be the Backstreet Boys' AJ McLean, who famously wore a mask in the "Everybody" music video.

Common Knowledge airs on the Game Show Network Monday through Friday at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Joey did several interviews today to promote "Common Knowledge." Watch here: Us Weekly, kens5.com, pagesix.com, wtkr.com, wfsb.com, and katu.com.

Lance Bass Hates to Travel Without This One Super Adorable Thing - 1/13/19

Travel & Leisure, 1/13/19 --

Many of us will always remember Lance Bass as one of the members of the overwhelmingly popular music group *NSYNC during that magnificent time period that was the early aughts. Since then he has flourished as a producer, host, and media personality, as well as dedicated philanthropist and environmental activist. He is a member of the Environmental Media Association's board of directors. But when he isn't traveling all over the country for work, he can be found playing games both online and on the board, and traveling with his husband, artist Michael Turchin.

The gamer recently partnered with Tru by Hilton to host their Tru Connections CONNECT 4 Tournament to celebrate the brand's recent 50th hotel milestone at Tru by Hilton Salt Lake City Airport. Travel & Leisure spoke with Bass about his best travel hacks, his most memorable trip and what he can't travel without-it'll make you cry it's so sweet!

Travel and Leisure: What's the one thing you can't travel without?

I used to say my husband. I hate traveling alone. My husband is the best traveler. That is the reason I knew I could marry him.

What's the one place you've never been to, but you've always wanted to visit?

A couple of places: New Zealand, I've always wanted to go. I've never done anything like Bali. The only tropical places I've been to [are] The Bahamas and Mexico.

What's the best trip you've taken?

We've had some pretty incredible trips, but we do New Orleans a lot. That's always a really fun thing for me because I grew up around there. One of my favorite trips was when we went to South Africa and went on a safari in a place called Singita. It was just the most magical week.

[With some safaris] it feels like you're at a Disney park and this was just so authentic. There were only about 12 of us staying at this camp and I got to see the Magnificent Seven (rhino, elephant, leopard, lion, and buffalo, plus southern right whales and great white sharks), which I guess is really hard to see. And at the end of the week I proposed to my husband!

30th Anniversary Mickey Mouse Club Reunion Set for MEGACON Orlando - 1/12/19

laughingplace.com, 1/10/19 --

It has been rumored for weeks, months and even years and it appears 2019 will be the year that it finally happens-it being the reunion of The All New Mickey Mouse Club. And perhaps it may be a coincidence that the reunion comes as Disney Hollywood Studios, the one-time home of the MMC, prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

The #MMC30 - Where it all began... is expected to feature Mouseketeers from all seven seasons of The All New Mickey Mouse Club, which premiered on the Disney Channel in 1989 and taped at a sound stage at was then the newly-opened Disney MGM Studios at the Walt Disney World resort in Florida.

Exactly who will be participating in the reunion is still up in the air but at least three former Mouseketeers have committed to attend. Former castmates Chasen Hampton and Dale Godboldo will serve as executive producers of the reunion which is scheduled for the weekend of May 18th at the Hyatt Regency Orlando during MEGACON Orlando.

Just like high school or college reunions, Hampton and Godboldo are promising fans a weekend full of fun and interactive cast reunion panels and a fan Q&A featuring some of the cast and a special performance of Blood, Sweat and Mouseketeers by former MMC alum Lindsey Alley. "It feels like yesterday, still....even though time has happened it doesn't feel like that, we're still family," reflects Godboldo, who appeared in four of the show's seven seasons.

The weekend's events will be hosted by *NSYNC's Joey Fatone, described as an honorary Mouseketeer by Hampton and the unofficial godfather of Orlando by Godboldo.

Proceeds from the gathering will benefit onePULSE Foundation and their efforts to promote diversity and inclusion and Give Kids The World to help fulfill the wishes of critically ill children of all backgrounds and faiths visiting Central Florida and its vast array of theme parks and attractions as well as youth arts and education programs through Always In The Club Foundation.

Justin Timberlake Surprises Atlanta Crowd With T.I. for 'My Love' & More: Watch - 1/12/19

Billboard, 1/11/19 --

It's only been a few days since Justin Timberlake made his return to the Man of the Woods Tour, and he's already bringing out some big surprises. At his Atlanta show on Thursday night, JT brought out hometown hero T.I. for a hit-filled cameo.

T.I. initially joined Timberlake for his verse on their 2006 team-up "My Love," making the crowd go wild. But the energy only increased as T.I. then transitioned into a medley of his own hits: "What You Know," "Bring 'Em Out" and "Live Your Life." Timberlake seemed as excited about T.I.'s appearance as the Atlanta crowd was, proven by a gushing Instagram post with clips from the rapper's surprise.

"@TROUBLEMAN31! EPIC! --Your city loves you. Thank you ----," Timberlake captioned the videos. T.I. returned the endearment, sharing a picture of the pair on stage with the caption "Fucked it Up wit my Patna last night!!! @justintimberlake #maninthewoods tour We Went UP!!"

Timberlake resumed his Man of the Woods Tour in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, after two months of vocal rest and not performing due to bruised vocal cords. The tour hits markets across North America -- including a rescheduled Madison Square Garden show on his birthday, Jan. 31 -- through April 13.

Check out a fan-filmed video of T.I.'s entire performance here, and Timberlake's clips below.

Justin Timberlake Has The No. 1 Song In The U.S. -- Here's Why You Don't See His Name At The Top - 1/9/19

Forbes, 1/9/19 --

Justin Timberlake and producer extraordinaire Timbaland have enjoyed an incredibly fruitful relationship, and during the years the two have been collaborating, they have scored at least 15 top 10 hits on the Hot 100 together, including several No. 1 smashes, and that number has recently risen. The powerful pairing are back at the top of the all-encompassing listing of the 100 most popular songs in America, though most Americans probably don't realize they're back in charge because their names aren't listed at the peak.

As pop singer Halsey climbs to the peak with her single "Without Me," she claims her first No. 1 on her own (she hit the top in 2016 as a featured artist on The Chainsmokers' "Closer"), but when one looks at all the talents who worked behind the scenes on the catchy cut, it's clear that Halsey didn't get there "without" help.

"Without Me" interpolates Timberlake's single "Cry Me a River" on the bridge, and because of just a few lines, both the former boyband member and Timbaland, who co-wrote and co-produced the second single from Timberlake's debut solo album Justified, are labeled as co-writers on Halsey's smash.

The current leader confirmed her use of a handful of lines from "Cry Me a River" in a tweet she shared just a short time after "Without Me" was released, since she wanted to clear up a bit of confusion. Her use of lyrics from Timberlake and Timbaland's composition is technically an interpolation, as she changes things up ever so slightly to fit the needs of her hit.

Watch: Timberlake shows off ridiculously impressive 'Happy Gilmore' swing - 1/8/19

golfchannel.com, 1/8/19 --

It's not breaking news that Justin Timberlake has some serious game.

He's shown off his golf prowess in past editions of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am - even nearly holing one tee shot for an ace as partner Justin Rose filmed.

And from the looks of a recent Instagram post, the 10-time Grammy winner has added a "Happy Gilmore" shot to his arsenal - and a ridiculously impressive looking one at that:

IT'S ALL IN THE HIPS #happygilmore

A post shared by Justin Timberlake (@justintimberlake) on

As with most things the former *NSYNC member does, people took notice.

In addition to views from his 53 million followers, Timberlake got props from both fans and other celebrities in the comment section, including PGA Tour stars Justin Thomas and Rory McIlroy, NBA all-star Dwyane Wade and actor Josh Brolin.

So, in addition to singing, songwriting, acting, producing and dancing ... you can go ahead and officially add "Happy Gilmore" golf swing to the list of things Justin Timberlake is better at than you.

Feel free to leave a few more empty spots on that list as well; he's bound to fill them up at some point.

Lance Bass' Prosecco Keg Trailer Is Here To Make Weddings Even More Instagrammable - 1/4/19

Delish, 12/30/18 --

2019 is all about entrepreneur Lance. Yep, that Lance-the one you know and love from the treasured *NSYNC days and more recently for his activism and hilarious Instagram presence. Lance has a lot going on next year, from having kids with husband Michael Turchin to expanding the Bubble Tap Trailer. But first, he's celebrating New Year's Eve.

This year, Lance and Michael are celebrating the turn of the year in New York City, where Lance is working with Barefoot Bubbly to spread some holiday cheer (watch the couple toast the new year on TV or online at TimesSquareNYC.org around 9:25pm EST!).

Delish caught up with the singer, TV host, and foodie to talk holidays, wine, and one very memorable, mildly disastrous, New Year's Eve.

His Worst New Year's Eve Ever

Many moons ago, on the eve of 2001, Lance Bass was hosting MTV's New Year's Eve countdown at the Roseland Ballroom in New York. Never mind the blizzard that had come through, cancelling almost every live event but his-there was one other problem capturing Lance's attention: "I got food poisoning from Burger King!"

OY.

"I was on air, I was trying to do as much as I can, and I was looking white as a ghost," he recalls. "I would just throw up in the commercial breaks."

Lance Bass Reveals His Dream Nursery for His Twins - 1/2/19

Architectural Digest, 1/2/19 --

Lance Bass is determined to make 2019 the best year yet. To start it off right, the former *NSYNC, member hosted Barefoot Wine & Bubbly's New Year's Eve celebration in Times Square, and in the year to come, he'll reportedly help HGTV host A Very Brady Renovation-a new series that will see the iconic The Brady Bunch house (which Bass famously lost out on buying in a bidding war) restored to its former glory- and launch a slew of entrepreneurial projects, including a music festival with Richard Branson. But, his biggest project of all is getting his Los Angeles home ready for babies. Bass recently revealed he and husband Michael Turchin are hoping to welcome twins in the new year via surrogacy-and the couple is so excited they've already started decorating the nursery. The 39-year-old opened up to AD ahead of his exciting New Year's Eve gig to reveal the details of his dream nursery, which *NSYNC member has the best design style, and what he would have done if he'd won the bid on the The Brady Bunch house.

Architectural Digest: First, how excited are you to host New Year's Eve in Times Square?

Lance Bass: I'm so excited! This will be my first time. I am such a sucker for that countdown. It's the only time in the year that everyone celebrates it the same second together, and I think that is the coolest energy you could find. Plus, I love me some Barefoot bubbly.

AD: Do you have a secret Lance Bass cocktail recipe that you serve up at the holidays?

LB: I love a little prosecco because you can fix it in so many different ways. My go-to is adding a little strawberry basil.

AD: Yum! Well, how were your holidays? Do you get into the season?

LB: Yes! I go all out for Halloween and Christmas. My husband only allows me to get one new decoration a week leading up to the holidays. On October 1, I'm allowed to start preparing for Halloween, and November 1 I can start getting Christmas stuff. We collect Christmas ornaments wherever we go, and I go all out. It's like Liberace decorated!

Lance Bass is ready for a baby in 2019 - 1/1/19

Page Six, 12/31/18 --

Lance Bass is ready to become a dad in 2019.

"The most surprising part about the surrogacy process was how long this takes," the Barefoot Sleigh Team member told Page Six. "We had several friends going through this and it took a little while but I think we've broken the record for how many donors we've gone through. We're on donor number six right now and we don't even know if that one's gonna work. So, it has been a lot longer than I thought. But, hey, here's to a 2019 baby!"

Bass, 39, added that it hasn't been as easy for him and husband Michael Turchin, 31, to find a donor, saying: "You would think I would get so many offers for eggs but not many people have come to me with their eggs! I think I'm going to have to tweet it out right now!"

The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, announced they were on the road to fatherhood in April 2018 and revealed that they had picked a surrogate in June.

The former boy bander - who is ringing in the New Year in Times Square - first expressed how excited he was to become a dad in 2016, gushing, "I think of all of us selfishly want to try to raise the best kid possible, just so we can have a better person in this world, helping out. And so I hope to raise some good kids that will leave a good mark on this world."

Lance Bass Reveals His NYE Resolution & The Celeb He Can't Wait To See Perform Before 2019 Ball Drop - 12/31/18

HollywoodLife.com, 12/31/18 --

2019 is almost upon us! This year, 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve' is set to be a star-studded show, & Lance Bass is just one of the stars helping to kick off the fun!

Three cheers to the new year! Former *NSYNC member Lance Bass, 39, is kicking off 2019 in New York City, in partnership with Barefoot Bubbly. We can't think of a better way to start the new year than a little champagne, and a celebratory toast from Lance! So - before he and his hubby Michael Turchin hit your TV and raise their glass, find out what to expect from the Times Square live show, and what the couple has planned for the year ahead!

What are your holiday plans this year?

We switch it up every year. We spend a lot of time in Mississippi, then head to Miami and we usually spend New Year's there...I've always wanted to do Times Square for the new year!

Do you have a 2019 New year's resolution?

You know, I never really keep them. They're usually health related. This year I'm changing it up, and working on some entrepreneurial things. I've been in the bubbly business for about a year now. I started a bubble tap company! We take our trailer to parties, festivals and more.

You're one of the show's hosts this year! What can fans expect?

I'll be hosting the official toast with Barefoot, so whatever happens I'll just take it as it comes!

What do you have planned after the ball drops? Any fun parties?

I don't know yet! I used to live in New York so I have tons of friends there. We'll probably stick in Times Square as long as possible. It can be crazy with chasing the party otherwise with NYC traffic.

How about 2019 plans with your hubby? Do you think next year the two of you will be ringing in the holiday with a little one at your side?

We're hoping so! We're getting closer. I think it's been a longer process than we ever thought. We're now on our 5th egg donor, and we're just hoping this one sticks.

How do you handle holiday stress?

It can be very stressful. Just breathe and realize that nothing is that big of deal. That's why I'm so glad I joined the Barefoot slay team. The whole motion of the team is to breathe and relax during the holiday season.

There's some amazing NYE performers this year: Christina Aguilera, New Kids on the Block, Dua Lipa, Halsey, and more. Who are you most looking forward to seeing?

Dua Lipa I think is kind of my favorite right now. We've been fans of her for a few years now. We've been begging for America to catch onto her! Of course, New Kids on the Block too. They were one of my first concerts, so that will be nostalgic.

Lance Bass Says Fatherhood Is One of His New Year's Resolutions - 12/31/18

out.com, 12/31/18 --

This may just be the gayest New Year's Eve since the Mayans invented the calendar. Once again, Anderson Cooper will be ringing in 2019, joined by his BFF Andy Cohen tonight on CNN. Also at the Ball Drop will be Lance Bass, hosting on behalf of Barefoot Bubbly.

The entrepreneur, TV personality, and boy band alum joins Barefoot's Sleigh Team (also featuring Cecily Strong, Anna Faris, Chrissie Fit, Yvonne Orji, and Tituss Burgess), the wine brand's musical and comedic ambassadors for the holidays. Bass will serve as their onstage host in Times Square, helping count down to midnight. He'll also introduce the Sleigh Team's new music video, "Sleighin' the Holidays."

We caught up with with Bass to chat about what he and hubby, Michael Turchin, are excited for in 2019 and what they're ready to leave behind in the new year.

What are your New Year's Eve plans?

Barefoot is the official bubbly of Times Square New Year's, and I'm super excited to be hosting that party and leading the toast to a healthy and prosperous New Year for everyone. It's gonna be a lot of fun. It's my first time in Times Square for New Year's. I've done New York many times but I've never made it to Times Square, so I'm excited to see what happens.

How do you and Michael usually spend New Year's Eve?

It's different every year. A lot of the times, we end up in Miami because we're always visiting my in-laws around that time, so we just make it easy and stay there. Sometimes we get really fun offers like this Barefoot event, which I jumped at because it's just so perfect for my brand.

You two just celebrated an anniversary. Any advice on making a marriage work?

I mean the best advice is to just be understanding. Everyone's gonna have their differences, but I love the fact that we were able to get married because there's something about making that commitment and working through everything. And sometimes when you're just in a relationship, you let things kinda fester, and you can let a fight break you up, but when you're married, you're in it for the long haul.

Any resolutions this year?

I usually never keep them, that's for sure. Usually, New Year's resolutions always revolve around health, you know, "I'm gonna get back in the gym, I'm gonna eat healthy." But I know that's never gonna happen. So, this year I'm really focusing on a lot of things that I've been putting off for many years. I'm starting a lot of companies that I have had ideas for for a long time. We have the Bubble Tap Trailer where we take prosecco and we keg it, and we bring out in these shabby chic trailers at bachelorette parties and weddings. They love it. It's been really fun. And then, I'm starting a new mixers line of really tasty drinks with Jax Taylor from Vanderpump Rules. The company's called "Just Add X," so you just add whatever favorite liquor that you want in these very flavorful drinks. I hope to get that out by the spring.

Any update on that HGTV Brady Bunch show or another season of Finding Prince Charming?

I don't know what my involvement will be with the Brady Bunch house. I might just make an appearance. They haven't figured out yet what that show exactly is. But HGTV has been very sweet to me, and in fact, we're going to be working on another show together that I hopefully will be able to announce very soon. I want Finding Prince Charming to have a season two so badly. Of all of the TV shows I've done, that's the one everyone keeps asking me up about. People love it. I just hate that they decided not to do a second season. I really think it would be great if Netflix or something like that picked it up. Because of how great Queer Eye is doing for Netflix, I think this show would be groundbreaking for them.

Is there anything you're just ready to leave in 2018?

Yea, 2018 was an interesting one for sure. It definitely was not my favorite year. We're in the process of baby-making now. We've been working on it for a long time, and just lost our egg donor. So right now, we're onto the next one. So hopefully, all the frustration of making a baby in 2018 will end, and 2019 will bring us a lot more luck.

Why JC Chasez is skipping out of his NYE plans - 12/27/18

Page Six, 12/24/18 --

JC Chasez is saying "Bye, Bye, Bye" to his New Year's Eve festivities to celebrate his mom, Karen Chasez.

JC, 42, is set to attend Eric Podwall's annual Camp Podwall New Year's weekend from Dec. 28 to Jan. 3 in South Beach, Fla., but he will be heading out early on Jan. 1 to attend Karen's swearing-in ceremony as she becomes the mayor of Debary, Fla., an insider told Page Six on Monday.

Local outlets reported in July that she was set to be inducted after her opponent dropped out.

This will be Camp Podwall's seventh time in South Beach, with this year's party taking place at the penthouse of the Nautilus Hotel in Miami.

JC's *NSYNC bandmate Lance Bass is also expected to attend this year's celebration alongside "Bohemian Rhapsody" actor Joe Mazzello and former "Glee" stars Kevin McHale, Chris Colfer and Matthew Morrison.

*NSYNC's Lance Bass Discovered Surprising Rock Singer - 12/15/18

alternativenation.net, 12/15/18 --

Depression has been the topic of conversation in recent years. Statistics say that 40 million people in the world deal with anxiety or depression which accounts for 18% of the population. One of the biggest songs of 2018 was "Ghost" by the band Badflower. Lead vocalist Josh Katz has had his own bouts with depression himself and told a pellucid story with vivid detail. The song "Ghost" chronicles the story of a guy struggling with depression and wanting to give up his fight. Josh, talks about his own situation admits that he started dealing with depression after the band started getting recognition saying "Success is a weird animal and does strange things to your head."

The guys from Badflower are persistent. Tired of waiting for the green light from Republic Records in the early going of their career. The band decided to record their album "Temper" in their garage. They handed over a copy upon completion and the record label released it as is. Josh says "Being in a band is 10% action and 90% waiting around. We just got tired of waiting." They have a new song out called "Heroin" and are expecting to do great things in 2019. Hear about their journey to becoming a signed band, being discovered by Lance Bass of *NSYNC, and jamming with Billy Ray Cyrus on episode 62 of the DOMKcast.

Lance Bass Bat among new species discovered in the Greater Mekong - 12/12/18

WWF, 12/12/18 --

A new report describes 157 new species found in the Greater Mekong--a region spanning Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. The newly discovered species may look more familiar than you would expect.

A bat that could be a member of *NSYNC, a gibbon named after Luke Skywalker, and a toad from Middle Earth are among the species found by scientists. Take a look at a few of these new and endearing species.

Lance Bass Bat

Scientists discovered a bat whose hair resembles the frosted tips of *NSYNC's Lance Bass. The bat is likely a very rare species and was quickly identified as a new species because of its long, golden hairs.

"There are many more species out there waiting to be discovered and tragically, many more that will be lost before that happens. Ensuring that large reserves are designated for wildlife, along with increased efforts to close illegal wildlife trade markets, will go a long way to conserving the extraordinary wildlife diversity in the Mekong region," says Stuart Chapman, WWF's Asia-Pacific regional director for conservation impact.

According to WWF's recent Living Planet Report, there has been a 60% decline in the size of populations of mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and amphibians in just over 40 years. This decline is likely worse in the Greater Mekong region due to destruction of wild habitats and poaching. World Wildlife Fund is working to stop wildlife trade, assess the impact of dams and hydropower, and taking steps to protect the Greater Mekong Region.

Lance Bass and Husband Michael Turchin Hope to Be Pregnant via Surrogate 'Within the Next Month' - 12/9/18

People, 12/4/18 --

Lance Bass and Michael Turchin are the closest they've ever been to becoming parents.

The *NSYNC alum revealed exclusively to PEOPLE that he and his husband have made "great" progress with the surrogacy process. "We're very close," he raves. "We should be able to be pregnant within the next month, I'd say."

And the couple, who wed in 2014, are already ahead of the nursery-planning game. "Right now, we're about to expand on our house because we are starting the baby thing ... We keep buying art already," explains Bass, 39, who recently partnered with Tru by Hilton to host a Connect 4 tournament in celebration of its 50th hotel.

"We're not even pregnant yet, and we keep seeing things and saying, 'It's perfect for the nursery that we do not have,' " jokes the hopeful dad-to-be.

"So tons of art for the wall. I don't know how we're going to fit it all in there, but yeah, we keep buying things for the kid," Bass adds.

Joey Fatone Says *NSYNC Still Has A Group Text And We're Legit Sobbing - 12/9/18

Life & Style, 12/9/18 --

When it comes to 90s boy bands nobody did it better than *NSYNC. We know what you may be thinking, "What about Backstreet Boys, Hanson, or 98 degrees?" Nope, nope, and definitely nope. *NSYNC will forever be the best, case closed. Question is, do the five members of the once world-famous group still talk? As it turns out, yes they do!

Speaking exclusively with Life & Style, former *NSYNC member Joey Fatone revealed that the guys absolutely keep in touch. In fact, they're all still in business together. How amazing!

"Yep! Yeah, we still do because we have to do a merch deal right now with a company called Epic. We put out a holiday one most recently and we did another capsule," Joey said. "We'll be doing another one with old school, throwback ideas, and merch stuff. It's kind of fun. We've all been on the emails and we talk about it," the 41-year-old continued.

Joey noted that while the band talks often, it's not about the past! "We're not talking about music or anything else, we're just talking about merch - which has been fun, though, because we're still talking to each other." Ummm, OK, that's definitely tearin' up our hearts a little bit. "We still text message and do group texts. We text and email each other when any holiday comes by," the now-father-of-two concluded.

As far as who Joey chats with the least outside of the group chat? Well, it's Justin Timberlake... but for good reason! "He's been home working on his voice," he said referring to Justin's bruised vocal cords that have caused him to have to postpone a string of dates on his tour. "So, I legitimately haven't been talking to him because he can't talk to anybody because he doesn't have a voice," Joey expressed. How sad! We hope he gets better soon.

Want to see more from Joey? Check out his new series, Common Knowledge, premiering Monday, January 14th at 5:30 p.m. ET and will air weeknights Monday-Friday on Game Show Network.

The *NSYNC Song Lance Bass Wants To Retire Will Make The '90s Kid In You Laugh - 12/9/18

Elite Daily, 12/6/18 --

Name a more iconic boy band than *NSYNC. I'll wait. You've probably listed several already, but I will hear none of it! *NSYNC is the greatest boy band of all time, and that's that. With '90s music groups getting back together becoming just as popular as old TV reboots, *NSYNC is one of the few '90s boy bands that has shown no sign of a reunion (that pained me to type). But that doesn't mean they don't talk about the golden days of touring. Let's be real, *NSYNC songs never get old, but there is one *NSYNC song Lance Bass wants to retire for good.

My conversation with Bass (which quite literally made my childhood dreams come true), was part of Bass' partnership with the Tru by Hilton Connections Event. On Nov. 29, Bass hosted the Tru by Hilton Tru Connections event, a huge board game tournament at the Tru by Hilton hotel in Salt Lake City. The tournament featured giant Connect 4 boards and was attended by members of Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake. He tells me he's happy to be helping out the organization because it's been doing good for American children for as long as he can remember.

"For so many years they've learned to teach these kids how to connect with each other," he says. "These are future leaders, our future astronauts. You know, this is where we can really encourage them and inspire them to be who they want to be in the future." I giggle internally when he says "future astronauts," because remember when Lance Bass was almost an astronaut? The *NSYNC stan in me was very satisfied by this reference.

Since moving on from his boy band days, Bass has created a successful solo career for himself with projects such as his SiriusXM Radio show, Dirty Pop Culture, hosting the LOGO reality TV series Finding Prince Charming, and now, he's going back to his roots by executive producing a documentary on Lou Pearlman. Pearlman was the man responsible for the creation od *NSYNC, who admitted in 2008 to orchestrating a $300 million Ponzi scheme over the span of 20 years until 2006. It resulted in the defrauding of 10 banks and thousands of individuals. He died in 2016 at the age of 62 while still in prison serving his 25-year sentence.

It's clear as we talk that despite what happened with Pearlman, Bass has largely positive feelings about his past music career. And when it comes to things he doesn't like about the modern structure of boy bands, the critiques he makes are those of someone who has a firsthand knowledge of what it takes to really make a boy band thrive.

Justin Timberlake's Bruised Vocal Cord Recovery Postpones Tour - but Jonah Hill Steps In - 12/9/18

People, 12/6/18 --

Even with an injury so serious that he's had to postpone his tour, Justin Timberlake is full of jokes.

The pop star, 37, announced on Instagram late Wednesday that his doctor has directed him not to sing for yet another month because of his bruised vocal cords. He apologized profusely to his fans.

"Hey Guys, I'm sure you have heard that I've had to postpone several tour dates due to bruised vocal cords," he wrote on Instagram. "My vocal cords are healing, but they are not all the way back to normal yet, so my doctors want me to continue to rest my voice. They have asked me to hold off on singing until next month. I'm really sorry, I want to be back on the stage and I am doing all I can to get there quickly. Thank you for understanding - I see all of your posts and I appreciate the support and the love. I look forward to coming back stronger than I was before. More to come on rescheduled dates."

While Timberlake may've been bummed about the news, his friends Jonah Hill and Trevor Noah were quick to cheer him up.

First, the Superbad actor commented on the photo, touting his own singing talents.

"I have decided to fill in [for] JT on his remaining dates," Hill said. "It's what we do in our incredibly small circle of people with extraordinary voices. Feel better. I got you until you do."

In response, the Grammy winner quipped, "Well guys...I was gonna wait for my next post to unleash this wonderful news. BUT...you heard it here first. Jonah crushes 'Mirrors' too so you guys are gonna LOVE IT. Thanks man!"

And The Daily Show host, who's also under doctor's orders not to use his vocal cords after losing his voice, was eager to bond with Timberlake over the condition.

"Let's go on a silent retreat together JT," he commented.

Lance Bass Recalls His 'Eclectic' Childhood Decor Choices: 'My Room Was Full of Duck Wallpaper' - 12/6/18

People, 12/3/18 --

Even as a kid, Lance Bass had a bit of a unique style.

The former *NSYNC star tells PEOPLE that even though he moved so many times growing up, he put a lot of thought into the decorations in his childhood bedrooms.

"I loved ducks at one point in my life, so my room was full of duck wallpaper," Bass says of his most unusual design inspiration. "Very eclectic."

In another phase, he decked out his room with a more conventional kid motif, in honor of his favorite series.

"When I was a kid Transformers were my favorite thing, so I had the Transformers sheets and the window treatments," he says.

Now, the TV star, who recently partnered with Tru by Hilton to host a Connect 4 tournament in celebration of its 50th hotel, is continuing his love of design and home renovation. After placing a bid to buy the iconic Brady Bunch home, but eventually losing out to HGTV, Bass is likely going to be involved in the network's filmed renovation of the beloved house, which will air in 2019.

A Very Brady Renovation will see HGTV stars pair up with original cast members from The Brady Bunch to turn the inside of the house into a replica of the set used for filming.

Bass says he is still unsure of his role on the show.

"It's still disappointing that I didn't get to purchase the house that I wanted," Bass admits. "I had some really great ideas for it, and I was really upset in the beginning because I thought a realtor person was going to come through and tear down the house and destroy the legacy of that home, but I was very excited when I found out that HGTV got it because I knew that they would really treat it with respect and keep it the way that we all loved it."

The singer showed off a pair of green holiday socks on set. They went just below his knees and featured a funny snowman that also included Lance's head.

*NSYNC's JC Chasez Says He 'Always' Loves the Holidays, Shares His Favorite Family Traditions - 11/21/18

Us Weekly, 11/21/18 --

JC Chasez is big on the celebrations! The former boybander opened up to Us Weekly about all things holidays - and revealed his treasured family traditions.

"I always love the holidays," the 42-year-old gushed to Us exclusively earlier this month at the A Christmas Arrangement premiere in Burbank, California. "Usually, I wouldn't say always, but usually it puts people in a great

Chasez added that his favorite moments are "always" with family. "My grandfather always reads from the Bible on Christmas Eve," he noted. "And we all do a bit of caroling as well together as a family."

The *NSYNC alum, who was raised as a Mennonite, continued: "He reads the same verse every year. Same section of the Nativity, and then when it comes to the carols, we usually let the kids in the family shout out whichever one they want to hear next. Then we all hop to it."

Chasez even plays it simple when it comes to the food he enjoys at the get-togethers. "I'm not really one or the other," he dished. "If it's home-cooked, I'm happy."

The Maryland native also opened up about his former bandmate Justin Timberlake's success and recently released memoir, Hindsight.

"I just took a look through it. I haven't read it in depth, I just did the flip of the pages," Chasez told Us. "Look, it's a fun thing to look over. The guy has had an amazing career, come on. It was fun to see to some of the past in there that I was a part of with the Mickey Mouse Club. Then the early days of the *NSYNC stuff."

He gushed: "It's inspiring to see the stuff he did later in life, really breaking through ... becoming a movie star himself and things like that."

Justin Timberlake Shares His Favorite Man of the Woods Tour Moment - 11/20/18

E! Online, 11/20/18 --

By the time Justin Timberlake's Man of the Woods Tour ends its run in 2019, the 37-year-old singer-songwriter will have performed 112 shows across Europe and North America. But as his fans can attest, no concert is the same-and in fact, they'd probably even argue each one is better than the last. "I have a ton of fun performing with my band and dancers, and we keep it fresh every night," Timberlake tells E! News in an exclusive interview. "But I do believe in being well-rehearsed so you can get to the stage and forget all of that and just be in the moment."

To create a more intimate environment, Timberlake brought in production designers Brian Buckner and Josh Zangen to create an outdoor aesthetic that coincides with the theme of his fifth studio album. Working with production manager Robert "Hydro" Mullin, lighting director Brian Vaughan and creative producer/lighting designer Nick Whitehouse, he created an immersive, one-of-a-kind experience. "I'm always looking for new ways to make my concerts feel unique and be as close as I can to the fans. This stage design was birthed out me wanting everyone to feel the energy towards the middle of the floor," he says of the TAIT stage design. "I also wanted it to look like a movie set when you entered the building, so there's that, too."

Timberlake got even closer to fans thanks to the Verizon Up rewards program, which gives customers access to VIP event tickets and everyday prizes simply by paying their wireless bills. "Getting to interact with people is one of my favorite things about touring," Timberlake explains to E! News. "That's why I was excited about Verizon creating an opportunity for my fans to get stage-side access throughout the tour through the Verizon Up rewards program."

"I was able to connect with so many fans in the Verizon Up section," the "Say Something" singer adds. "A standout was definitely when one of them had me help with a gender reveal onstage."

Fans can still see Timberlake when his Man of the Woods Tour stops in Denver, L.A., New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and other cities across North America. But those who missed the chance to see him live can learn more about him through his recently published book, Hindsight. Rest assured, everything fans ever wanted to know about Timberlake is in its pages. "We went through a pretty vigorous editing process, so it's all there," he promises. "I just wanted to give anyone who was curious a little window into my creative house, so to speak."

Lance Bass vacations with friends in The Bahamas - 11/15/18

Daily Mail, 11/14/18 --

She gave birth to a baby boy in January. And Jamie-Lynn Sigler looked like she'd bounced back from baby fantastically while spotted on the beaches of the Bahamas with friends in Instagrams Wednesday. The Sopranos star, 37, turned heads in a white bikini which put her toned figure on full display while visiting the shoreline with Lance Bass, former member of *NSYNC.

Lance looked like he'd been investing in plenty of time at the gym, showing off his toned torso and pecs in a pair of tiny, retro swim shorts.

Behind the pair stood two sizable pigs who Bass chuckled at. They later shared a group photo with some more swine. The photo was taken at the upscale Grand Isle Resort & Spa on the island of Great Exuma in the Bahamas.

Their group included Lance's husband Michael Turchin, husband Cutter Dykstra, along with some other non-famous friends.

Jimmy Fallon Accepts His People's Choice Award By Thanking His "Better Half" Justin Timberlake - 11/13/18

E! Online, 11/11/18 --

Jimmy and Justin, a bromance for the ages.

Jimmy Fallon's win for Nighttime Talk Show of 2018 at the People's Choice Awards had nothing directly to do with Justin Timberlake, and yet he couldn't help but thank "my better half, my rock, my soulmate...Justin Timberlake" on stage while accepting the award.

"Thank you so much. This is for you. It's the reason why we do the best show we can for you guys. We'll do anything to make you laugh, and I think our country needs a good laugh right now," Fallon began.

Fallon also thanked NBC, saying he's worked there 20 years, "and I can honestly say, I've never been fatter."

After thanking Timberlake and plugging his book (called Hindsight), Fallon went on to thank his actual wife, Nancy.

"I love you so much, you're the secret to my success, I love you so much. Winnie and Frannie, you're the best kids, I'm so proud of you, I love you," he said. He ended his speech with a tribute to the veterans, since November 11 is also Veteran's Day.

Fallon was up against Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Late Show with James Corden, The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, and Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

Justin Timberlake postpones more tour dates - 11/7/18

Variety, 11/7/18 --

Justin Timberlake, still suffering from bruised vocal cords, has postponed two more shows on his "Man of the Woods" tour. The dates in Tacoma, Wash. previously scheduled for Nov. 12 and 13 will now take place on Feb. 10 and 11 of next year, according to tour promoter Live Nation.

His next scheduled concert is at the Moda Center in Portland, Ore. On Nov. 16.

So far, Timberlake has postponed shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City (moved to Jan. 31); Buffalo, New York (moved to Dec. 19) and shuffled a Denver concert planned for Jan. 29 to Jan. 28.

Timberlake has been making the best of his forced hiatus, with a silent appearance on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon" last week - during which the host and Timberlake's wife Jessica Biel guessed at what his answers to interview questions might be - and encouraging fans via social media to vote in yesterday's midterm elections.

The concert postponements began last Wednesday with the Madison Square Garden show.

"Hey guys, I'm sorry to announce I have to postpone the show at MSG tonight on doctor's orders. My vocal cords are severely bruised. I'm gonna make this up to you and the new show will be on my birthday, January 31. More info to come. Again, I'm so sorry to do this, but excited to see you soon. Love, J"

He'd successfully sung his way through a gig at the venue two nights earlier, doing his usual two-hour, 26-song set, according to published accounts. Ironically, Monday's show was a make-up gig itself, following the postponement of a March concert scheduled for Madison Square Garden that Timberlake had put off due to a Nor'Easter.

-----------------

citynews1130.com, 11/6/18 --

Pop superstar Justin Timberlake has postponed his two Vancouver shows. The shows, which were originally slated for Nov. 8 and Nov. 9, 2018, have been rescheduled for Feb. 14 and Feb 15, 2019.

These are the latest in a string of concert dates that have been postponed, due to the singer having bruised vocal cords. Timberlake also recently postponed concerts in Edmonton for the same reason. Rather than performing Sunday and Monday, Timberlake is now set to play on Feb. 6 and 7.

"Justin Timberlake and Live Nation wish to acknowledge and thank Arkells for moving their concert and making the rescheduling of both Edmonton performances possible," read a release from Live Nation. "Justin Timberlake is sorry for the inconvenience to his fans and looks forward to seeing everyone at the rescheduled events."

He also had to delay concerts in New York last month, saying his vocal cords are "severely bruised."

What it's like to design for Justin Timberlake - 11/6/18

Fast Company, 11/6/18 --

Justin Timberlake's new book, Hindsight, is essentially a coffee table biography: a collection of highlights of his career from SNL to Suit and Tie. But flip through the pages and you'll quickly realize the design is good. No offense intended to Timberlake (love you JT!), but you might call it surprisingly good. Did Mom help you with that assignment, Billy? good. Each page is an unexpected delight to the eye, with moments of bold typography and restrained prose.

As it turns out, the book looks good for a reason: It was designed by the lauded graphic design firm Pentagram, in a project led by partner Michael Bierut and designer Britt Cobb.

"We got called by my editor at HarperCollins, asking whether we were interested in taking this on. And at first she just described it as 'a book by a celebrity.' And I was a little bit wary because you don't know who the celebrity is," says Bierut. "But when I heard it it was Justin Timberlake, I was enthusiastic . . . I've always really liked his range and willingness to reinvent himself. It seemed like he actually thought about these reinventions much the same way a designer thinks, really considering, visually, how do I present this persona, or, sonically, how do I present these sounds?"

After a conversation with the celebrity, Bierut agreed to the project. Timberlake met with Bierut and Cobb over two to three studio visits, in which Pentagram inundated Timberlake with options.

"Like with any new client, you go into that first meeting showing creative work, and when I do that, I go in ready to find out, one, what can we learn about the direction we should be pursuing from a design point of view? And two, what kind of person are we working with here?" says Bierut. "This is true dealing with a CEO on a corporate logo. Some people are impatient and like to make a decision really quickly. Some people are decisive. Some people make a decision quickly and are prone to change their mind. Some people don't like anything on the first pass. Some people like everything, then call you back and say nothing was right. They're all different ways of reacting to design, which is inherently subjective."

As Bierut recounts, he and Cobb laid out a smorgasbord of initial options with countless typographical treatments-all trying to get a feel for what Timberlake wanted. "He looked at it and said, 'you know, I like all of these.' And I don't think he was saying that because he was indecisive. I think he was giving us permission to really play up the contrast you can find in his life story."

Lance Bass is Still Involved in HGTV's 'Brady Bunch' House Remodel Show - 11/5/18

TMZ, 11/5/18 --

Lance Bass was noticeably absent from the 'Brady Bunch' reunion at the Brady crib HGTV plans to remodel, but he's still going to be involved in the show ... TMZ has learned.

Sources close to the production tell us this week's Brady kids get-together -- which featured all of Mike and Carol's TV spawn -- was simply a photo shoot that will be used for promos when the show is officially announced.

We're told Lance's team spoke to HGTV execs just last week and was assured he's not off the project -- the network plans to tap him in on the project sometime in 2019. It's still unclear if he'll be hosting, producing ... or both.

In addition to the Brady gig, we're told HGTV's offered him a second project. So, it's clear things are still cool between Lance and network execs.

As for the remodel itself ... our sources say the building team might've hit a minor setback after stumbling across a ton of asbestos in the house, which could delay the demolition process a bit.

Joey Fatone at Rhode Island Comic Con this upcoming weekend - 11/1/18

newportri.com, 11/1/18 --

The first time the "Mistress of the Dark" appeared at a comic con in the 1980s, she was shrouded in metaphorical (and perhaps literal) shadow, confined to the basement of a San Diego hotel.

"There were no [other] women there," remembers Cassandra Peterson, the actress behind Elvira, the cult character whose vampy and campy persona has spellbound audiences for nearly four decades. "[Now it's] easily fifty-fifty, [with] as many women as men [attending.]"

This weekend Peterson will accomplish another first when she comes to Providence for the Rhode Island Comic Con. The horror icon said she's never visited the Ocean State, barring a few moments at T.F. Green: "I think I was in the airport once."

Now in its seventh year, the convention will run from Friday through Sunday at the Rhode Island Convention Center and Dunkin' Donuts Center, with additional programming at the Omni Providence Hotel.

Celebrity guests arguably comprise the core attraction each year, and the assortment always runs a wide gamut. This year you can expect actors like Zachary Levi (star of the upcoming film "Shazam!") to pro wrestlers and anime voice actors. Autographs and photos will be available for purchase. Prices vary by guest and can be found on the Rhode Island Comic Con website.

Gaming tournaments invite attendees to test their mettle at "Mortal Kombat," "Mario Kart," and other classics for a $5 entry fee. Card players fear not: there are also tourneys for "Magic: The Gathering" and "Yu-Gi-Oh." Speaking of competition, a $160 entry fee will let you challenge singer Joey Fatone to a game of Skee-Ball on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Dave & Buster's at the Providence Place mall.

Postponed: Justin Timberlake won't be bringing sexy back to Edmonton next week - 10/31/18

CBC, 10/30/18 --

Edmonton fans of superstar entertainer Justin Timberlake are left in the woods after the singer's two shows at Rogers Place have been postponed due to the singer's bruised vocal cords.

Timberlake's Nov. 4 and Nov. 5 Man of the Woods tour performances in Edmonton have been postponed, promoter Live Nation Alberta said on social media Tuesday.

The promoter is encouraging fans to keep their tickets as rescheduled shows are expected.

Last week, Timberlake announced a similar postponement of his performance at Madison Square Garden in New York citing bruised vocal cords.

The former *NSYNC member isn't the only high-profile musician to reschedule an Edmonton performance over the past couple of months. Foo Fighters cancelled a Rogers Place show in September but played a rescheduled show on Oct.22.

Deadline Hollywood, 10/29/18 --

Game Show Network has synched up with Joey Fatone to host Common Knowledge, its new daily half-hour series that premieres January 14.

Keep reading for what we learned from Timberlake's debut book!

1. He was a fan of The Mickey Mouse Club before appearing on the show

During his childhood in Memphis, Tennessee, Timberlake would rush home after school to watch the series every day. "The kids who starred on MMC were close to the same age as me. I felt like I related to them, like I knew them better than I knew 90% of the kids at my school," he writes. "Seeing that there were kids in the world who got to be on TV, singing and dancing and doing sketches, made me wonder how they got to do that. I knew I could do what they were doing, and I wanted to."

He initially got to audition for the show after being chosen for -- and eliminated from -- Star Search. The shows shot on the same lot and, after his elimination from Star Search, he saw a commercial for an open audition for The Mickey Mouse Club. He was one of 27 children chosen from 20,000 to go to audition camp, and from there he was offered the job.

Lance Bass, Duo to Attend All 5 Pro Home Games Amid L.A. Sports 'Equinox' - 10/30/18

KTLA, 10/28/18 --

Los Angeles is experiencing a so-called "sports equinox," with five major professional U.S. sports teams playing at home on the same day: hockey, football, soccer, baseball and basketball. And Lance Bass and two other adventurous L.A. boosters planned on attending all five games.

Lance Bass, who shot to fame as a member of the boy band *NSYNC, said he teamed up with Discover L.A. to catch the L.A. Kings, Rams, Galaxy, Dodgers and Clippers play.

Doane Liu, general manager of L.A.'s tourism department, and Branimir Kvartuc, communications director for Councilman Joe Buscaino, also hatched a plan to do the same, City News Service reported.

The pair said they were going to use ride-hailing services to stop at each match.

Liu and Kvartuc expected to spend about $700 each on tickets.

The three planned to post about their adventures on social media.

Kvartuc said the duo hoped to earn a place in the Guinness Book of World Records - but the feat is really all about civic pride.

George Clooney and multimillionaire Rande Gerber hosted 2018's most star-studded Halloween parties in both LA and Vegas - 10/30/18

Insider, 10/29/18 --

George Clooney and Rande Gerber's Casamigos tequila brand threw not one, but two of its famous Halloween parties this year - one in Beverly Hills on Friday, and a second in Las Vegas on Saturday.

The "Brought To You By Those Who Drink It" LA party took place in cofounder Mike Meldman's house and featured plenty of Halloween décor, branded Casamigos bars lined with hundreds of bottles of the tequila, signature cocktails, and food like Kobe cheeseburger sliders, mini hot dogs, tacos and burritos, and vegan ice cream.

Guests like Harry Styles and Paris Hilton were greeted with a Casamigos ice shot, made the most of a slow-motion photo booth and selfie balls, and crowded into Meldman's sports room to watch the World Series, all while DJ Michelle Pesce played all night.

The scene was just as elaborate on Saturday, when all three Casamigos founders - George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldamn - partied at the newly opened CATCH Las Vegas at ARIA Resort & Casino in a space with black brick walls, neon signs, glitter Casamigos barrels, a custom agave made of mini Casamigos bottles over the main bar, cocktails, and Asian-inspired cuisine like lobster mac and cheese.

Guests like Clooney, Kendall Jenner, and Steve Aoki listened to DJ Cassidy, a performance from Nas, and even a surprise DJ set by Jenner herself.

Ex *NSYNC singer Joey Fatone and Izabel Araujo were the creepy twins from 'The Shining.'

Justin Timberlake scraps second show as he battles bruised vocal chords - 10/28/18

music-news.com, 10/26/18 --

Justin Timberlake has postponed a second concert as he battles bruised vocal cords.

The SexyBack star scrapped a show at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Wednesday night (24Oct18) and now he has pulled the plug on a gig in Buffalo, New York on Sunday.

Both gigs have already been rescheduled - the Buffalo show will take place on 16 December (18), while Justin will make it up to New York City fans when he returns to Madison Square Garden on his birthday in January (19).

In order to make it to the Big Apple for the rescheduled concert next year, Timberlake has moved up his Denver, Colorado gig by a day, to 28 January.

Meanwhile, the doctor who helped Adele and Sam Smith overcome major throat issues that threatened to end their careers, has urged Timberlake to cancel more shows and go on a complete vocal rest for up to two weeks.

Dr. Steven Zeitels, the Eugene B. Casey professor of laryngeal surgery at Harvard University, tells Billboard, "This is not a situation that will solve itself," he says. "When blood goes to the vocal membranes, they don't vibrate properly."

Zeitels, who is not treating Justin as his issues continue, also recommends precision green laser vocal surgery to heal the vessels without further damaging the vocal cords, adding, "If you don't straighten it out more often that not, it will tend to keep happening, and if it gets difficult to manage, you don't know what will happen in the future from the rigours of touring.

"Some artists can rest and finish their tour; some will say, 'Let's hold for now and have a procedure to pre-empt the bleeding'."

Justin Timberlake's New Book 'Hindsight' Details His Rise to Fame - 10/28/18

Variety, 10/26/18 --

Justin Timberlake may be used to putting his thoughts into lyrics, but in his new book, the singer is putting pen to paper, revealing some of the biggest moments - and missteps - from his career.

Out this Tuesday in bookstores and online, "Hindsight: & All the Things I Can't See in Front of Me" is a collection of anecdotes and reflections that touch on Timberlake's rise to fame, his celebrity friends, and how he's juggling his constant search for perfection with his role as a husband and father. Mixed in throughout the book are hundreds of candid images from the singer and actor's personal archives.

"These are my memories, these are my thoughts in the middle of the night, these are the images I see as I close my eyes to go to sleep, [and] these are the stories I will tell my son as he grows," Timberlake writes in the introduction to the book.

Coming in at just under 300 pages, "Hindsight" is less an autobiography or memoir as it is a curated personal scrapbook of observations, memories, and photographs. Timberlake's editor, Elizabeth Sullivan, calls it, "experiential" and says "it's a highly designed mix of stories, memories, musings, and personal images. You can open it up anywhere and read a vignette or look at a series of photographs or wild graphics. But in the end, the elements come together to create an exciting portrait of an artist and human being."

Michael Turchin Brings 'Dirty Pop' Art to Los Angeles - 10/26/18

Advocate.com, 10/24/18 --

Michael Turchin is more than just the husband of *NSYNC singer Lance Bass. Since 2012, the artist has been building a name for himself with his works of pop art, which poke bright, vibrant fun at Hollywood culture.

On Thursday, Turchin will celebrate the opening of "Dirty Pop," an exhibition at the Mondrian Los Angeles in the hotel's Magic Box art gallery, which will display his artistic evolution. The artist has even installed a Popsicle-inspired mural over the entrance to the hotel's Skybar.

"This project is actually my first commercial mural and I couldn't be happier that it's at the iconic Mondrian Los Angeles hotel," Turchin said in a statement. "Growing up in Miami Beach and then moving to Los Angeles, the Mondrian has been a fixture in my life for years. The Mondrian brand is synonymous with luxury and cutting-edge design throughout the world, which makes this collaboration all the more amazing for a contemporary pop artist like myself."

"Everything else aside, my hope is that everyone who views my work can walk away with a smile on their face," he added.

Justin Timberlake's Motion To Dismiss 'Damn Girl' Copyright Case Denied - 10/26/18

Forbes, 10/25/18 --

Justin Timberlake's and will.i.am's (aka William Adams) wildly successful song "Damn Girl" won two Grammy awards and went platinum four times. Timberlake's tour for the Futuresex/Lovesounds album was the subject of an HBO special. There is no denying that the album, song, tour and subsequent merchandise were a smash hit.

United States District Judge Vernon S. Broderick, however, denied Timberlake's and Adams' request to throw out a copyright case brought by PK Music Performance Inc. whose principal, Janis McQuinton, is Perry Kibble's sister. Kibble wrote and owns the copyrights to "A New Day Is Here At Last" ("Day"). McQuinton says Timberlake's "Damn Girl" is substantially similar to "Day" and that Timberlake and Adams owe her money. Although Kibble wrote "Day," the song was recorded and released by J.C. Davis, a musician and colleague of Kibble's. McQuinton obtained the copyrights after her brother Kibble died in 1999. She subsequently transferred the copyrights to PK Music Performance Inc., thus why the suit was brought by PK.

The Futuresex/Lovesounds album does give credit to J.C. Davis for the "Day" sample used in the song: "used courtesy of J.C. Davis under license to Cali-Tex Records." There is no mention of Kibble, McQuinton or PK. Timberlake and Adams are saying the lawsuit should be dismissed because this is a copyright ownership dispute between Davis and McQuinton/PK. McQuinton is claiming that this is indeed a copyright claim because she is an owner, and Timberlake and Adams used the song without her permission. Judge Broderick seems to agree.

Lance Bass Reveals What Goes Down In The *NSYNC Group Text & Gives Hope For A Future Reunion - 10/20/18

HollywoodLife, 10/19/18 --

You'll be surprised by how often Lance Bass, 39, keeps in touch with the rest of *NSYNC. We caught up with our '90s dreamboat at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where Sir Richard Branson received a star and announced Virgin Fest on Oct. 16! Given that *NSYNC just celebrated its 20th anniversary this spring, fans have long been demanding a reunion on stage. Well, Lance finally has an answer for us. "No, I don't think we're going to be doing a reunion anytime soon," he EXCLUSIVELY admitted to HollywoodLife. But don't fret, as Lance wasn't finished. When asked if a reunion is still a possibility, he exclaimed, "Oh, of course! As long as we're still all around, yeah!" And get ready to sweat over more *NSYNC news. Lance gave HL insight into how active the former boy band's group chat is.

"Oh, we talk daily," the singer revealed. Pinch us. He continued, "But we've now become fashion designers, so our capsule number two comes out next week. We've been working really heavily on that." *NSYNC Capsule Collection: Vol. 2 just dropped today, which they announced on Instagram! We'll take one "I Want You Back" T-shirt, please. Recall that for their 20th anniversary, the group gifted us with its first capsule collection of merchandise and the "Dirty Pop-Up" shop in Los Angeles! The new venture has changed the tune of their texts. "So instead of horrible memes of us as teenagers, it's now very corporate," Lance shared. "Our texts now are like, 'I don't like this picture, what do you think about this? What if we do a hoodie like this?'" Whether it's corporate talk or memes, we're just thrilled *NSYNC is still a tight unit!

Lance even gave us an update on his surrogacy journey with husband Michael Turchin, 31! We've told you that him and Michael were on their fifth egg donor on Sept. 26. "Fingers crossed in the next couple of months we'll be pregnant," he EXCLUSIVELY told us during another chat last month. Three weeks later, and Lance reveals that "it looks like this fifth one is actually going to work." They may even be expecting more than one baby! "So the next step is hopefully getting the embryos made in the next few weeks," Lance continued. "We're going to pick the healthiest embryo of his and the healthiest embryo of mine and put it in and hopefully have twins."

*NSYNC disbanded in 2002 and linked up again in 2013 to perform at the MTV VMAs. But it was quite the coincidence we got Lance to dish on the chances of a reunion at the Hollywood Walk of Fame! After the MTV reunion, Lance, along with members Justin Timberlake, Joey Fatone, JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick, came together again at none other than the Walk of Fame to receive their own star in April of this year.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel Celebrate 6 Years of Marriage - 10/20/18

Us Weekly, 10/19/18 --

Happy anniversary, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel! Six years ago the couple tied the knot in a romantic Italian ceremony that had Timberlake serenading his bride as she walked down the aisle in a pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown.

"Our ceremony was really beautiful. It was very much us, it was very much who we are as people," Biel told Entertainment Tonight in 2012. "It was different. It went off without a hitch."

Since then, the couple, who share 3-year-old son Silas, have flaunted their PDA on red carpets, shared flirty messages through social media and have made it known that they are each other's biggest fans.

"He's such an incredible artist and I know I'm biased, but I really am his No. 1 fan," Biel told E! in 2016.

Dancing With the Stars Puts John Schneider, Bobby Bones to the Test With Trio Dances - 10/18/18

Sounds Like Nashville, 10/16/18 --

They say it takes two to tango, but Monday night's (10/15) episode of Dancing with the Stars had contestants dancing in trios. That's right, in week four of the competition, the stars had to kick things up a notch by adding a second partner to their routine.

John Schneider was excited about the prospect of dancing with another lady professional, until his partner Emma Slater announced who would actually take to the ballroom with the pair. Enter *NSYNC member Joey Fatone and two-time DWTS contestant (he placed second in season four, and competed in the all-star season). While it wasn't a female partner, Schneider and Fatone quickly became thick as thieves with Slater commenting that if they practiced as much as they talked, they'd be in a good place.

The three then took to the dance floor for an Argentine Tango, inspired by the Greek gods. The performance hit a small snafu at the start when Slater's hair got caught in Schneider's jacket buckles. The two quickly regained composure and completed a dance that judge Carrie Ann Inaba called "very special."

"It was a little bit of a Greek tragedy just to start with, however, what I liked, there was no messing about," added Len Goodman. "You went straight into the dance. There was no messing about, no doing stuff. You went straight in. I love the way you interacted between the three of you. It had passion. It had attack. And I liked it."

The trio earned a 21 out of 30 for their dance.

Chris Kirkpatrick Sings 'Bye Bye Bye' in Tutu for 47th Birthday - 10/18/18

TMZ, 10/18/18 --

*NSYNC's Chris Kirkpatrick took it all the way back to 2000 for his 47th birthday -- and then he took it even further by doing it in a tutu and a sash.

The ex-boy band member celebrated the big 4-7 Wednesday at Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar in Nashville in what appeared to be a bachelorette-themed bash -- which was chock-full of no-shame ballerina birthday girl fashion, and *NSYNC karaoke hits.

Chris was singing his iconic single, "Bye Bye Bye," all while decked out in a pink tutu and a red sash. He had at least a couple hardcore fans there ... the lady holding the beer in the "front row" seemed to be all about the trip down memory lane.

One silver lining here ... Chris hasn't missed a step in his old routine! At least when it comes to lyrics, anyway. His dance steps could use a little tightening up.

*NSYNC is Releasing Volume 2 of Their Merch Capsule - 10/18/18

Celeb Mix, 10/18/18 --

Remember back in April when *NSYNC received their Walk of Fame star and they had the pop-up shop and online store with merch and everyone was reliving the best time of their lives? A.k.a. the 90s? Well, get your wallets ready because volume two drops today.

We had a lot more notice than this the first time around but maybe this time they are just "Tearing Up Our Hearts" and bank accounts.

The band members stated that after the first release there would be more capsules every six months or so. Well, guess what? It's six months later and it's happening.

Also, it is not a coincidence that the announcement came on the band's founder, Chris Kirkpatrick's, birthday. It may have been his birthday but it's the fans who are getting the gifts.

The merch is now available on the band's web store and includes a bomber jacket, hoodies and t-shirts. You can purchase your merch here for a limited time only.

Last time, the merch ran out very quickly, so make sure you get to it early. That paycheck that you just earned will be "Gone' tomorrow but it'll be totally worth it.

Maybe one day fans can wear this merch to the reunion tour that everyone is hoping will eventually happen.

Will there be more of a formal announcement? Will there be another event for the second release? One can only hope.

What Will 'DWTS' Teams Perform For Week 4 Trios Dances? - 10/13/18

International Business Times, 10/12/18 --

The Season 27 cast of "Dancing With the Stars" has been impressing the judges with their high-caliber of talent, and now, with things heating up more following the first perfect score of the season, teams will have to perfect routines featuring a third person.

The ABC reality competition series will feature the remaining 10 teams as they perform "Trio" routines, which usually are performed later in the competition. However, according to an ABC press release, this time around, not only will the dances be earlier, but they will also feature partners who have never yet stepped foot on the "Dancing With the Stars" ballroom floor.

Of course, even a flawless routine with a third person involved won't be able to save one of the teams, as another elimination is scheduled to take place at the end of the night.

So what routines will the remaining Season 27 teams perform (and who will they dance with) on Trios night? The planned performances can be found below.

  • John Schneider and Emma Slater (#TeamSuperDuke): The two will team up with Season 4 runner-up Joey Fatone for an Argentine Tango to "Torn" by Nathan Lanier.

"Dancing With the Stars" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.

Justin Timberlake and Kobe Bryant are in talks to make shows for NewTV - 10/10/18

The Business Times, 10/10/18 --

Pop star Justin Timberlake and basketball legend Kobe Bryant are in talks to create programmes for NewTV, according to people with knowledge of the matter, joining a startup that aims to bring HBO-like quality to short online videos.

The two globally known stars would produce and appear in the series for NewTV under the deals being discussed, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the negotiations haven't been completed.

The talks with Timberlake and Bryant offer a glimpse into the programming strategy of NewTV, which was founded by two business titans and has enticed investment from major Hollywood studios. Jeffrey Katzenberg, the long-time head of DreamWorks Animation, and Meg Whitman, the former chief executive officer of EBay and Hewlett-Packard, have raised US$1 billion to build a paid service for high-end, short-form video.

While the two have been tight-lipped about their plans, Bloomberg News has pieced together a general outline through conversations with more than a half-dozen individuals.

NewTV plans to produce more than 70 programs in its first year, about half of which will be original series, according to the people. The company plans to spend the equivalent of up to US$5 million an hour on those shows and pay the producing studios a fee on top of production costs.

Lance Bass Will Be Part of HGTV's 'Brady Bunch' House Show After Losing Out on Buying It - 10/9/18

PEOPLE, 10/8/18 --

Lance Bass will get to fulfill his Brady Bunch dream after all.

In early August the former *NSYNC thought he bought the house whose iconic facade served as the exterior of the Brady family home on the hit sitcom, only to find out that he was outbid by HGTV. While he said he was initially "heartbroken" by the news he'd lost out on the home, he was happy it was the TV network who had swooped in with the winning bid.

While he won't get to move in, Bass will now help HGTV produce a show about the famous home, he tells PEOPLE.

"The fans came to my rescue. They saw how hosed I got," he said while attending the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas last month, referring to the real estate loss. "They forced HGTV's hand to get me involved."

The former boybander didn't reveal what his role will be in the production, but he says fans will have to wait a while to find out. "There's a lot of things that have to be done before we can start remodeling it, so it's going to take a year or two," he said.

Bass also told PEOPLE what he wanted to do with the home, had he landed it.

"I'm a huge Brady fan, so I wanted to turn the house into what we all knew from the television show because all they did was use it for exterior," he said. "The inside looks nothing like it, so I was gonna add a lot of square footage, add a second floor and try to turn it into that iconic set."
